Consumer Complaint: I opened a CC with XXXX XXXX XXXX via Comenity Bank for a 1 time use to get a discount on my purchase. I charged {$39.00}. I paid the bill in full and requested the acct be closed. 2 months later I receive a bill for {$30.00} late fee. I called was told my pymt of {$39.00} was 24 hrs late. It was XXXX time and I said maybe it was delayed via USPS. No waiving of fee. They are harrassing me calling 4x a day. Each month they add new fees. Nothing owed on this account is from my making a purchase it's all fees. This acct also says open. I requested it be closed. I have very good credit and this is abuse.

I am Authorizing this Dispute I was contacted by a notice by CB/Express attempting to collect a late payment debt that I am unaware of seeing that I always make my payments ontime so I am not agreeing with this information. They reported negative and defaming information to my credit report beginning XX/XX/2022. I have not received and sufficient information in order to validate this matter. I do not agree with their actions. i have challenged the accuracy and integrity of the information. 12 CFR 1022.41 ( a ) States Accuracy means that information that a furnisher provides to a consumer reporting agency about an account or other relationship with the consumer correctly : ( 1 ) Reflects the terms of and liability for the account or other relationship ; ( 2 ) Reflects the consumer 's performance and other conduct with respect to the account or other relationship ; and ( 3 ) Identifies the appropriate consumer. 12 CFR 1022.41 ( d ) States also Integrity means that information that a furnisher provides to a consumer reporting agency about an account or other relationship with the consumer : ( 1 ) Is substantiated by the furnisher 's records at the time it is furnished ; ( 2 ) Is furnished in a form and manner that is designed to minimize the likelihood that the information may be incorrectly reflected in a consumer report ; and ( 3 ) Includes the information in the furnisher 's possession about the account or other relationship that the Bureau has : ( i ) Determined that the absence of which would likely be materially misleading in evaluating a consumer 's creditworthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living.

Consumer Complaint: I have received over four calls per day from Comenity Bank on several dates. I spoke with them today about violations to the FDCPA, which allows seven calls in seven days. They have called more times than this, as evidenced by my phone records, which I am happy to provide. When I spoke with them about the repeated call, the 'supervisor ' told me that there was no such restriction on calls in Wisconsin , only in Maryland and they were allowed to call me as much as they wanted. They were rude and aggressive and in clear violation of the allowable number of phone calls.

Consumer Complaint: I lost my credit card, I called the credit card company to report that I lost it and close the account few days later I noticed that was a purchase was made on this card the company send me email to sign to my account to pay my bill, I called again and I report a fraud on this account they told me they going to open investigation and will take 60 days to review and make a decision, 10 days later I received a bill for the amount plus late fees plus interest, I called them again to find out why they charge me they said the investigation was closed after 48 hours from the date that I reported the furad and I have to pay other wise evry month is going to be more late fees and interest. Please I need help

Consumer Complaint: I have no knowledge at all about this account and this company is messing up my credit its reporting that the flagging my account with being 60 days late and if your not able to accurately validate a account per the fdcpa, that you cant be placing no negative information on someone credit bureaus, this company is very very wrong because they shouldnt allow someone to get any credit without proper identification to open up a account this company has failed so many people with opening up credit without properly information I can imagine all of the people that has a issues with this company and whats so sad is that they will call you and harass you about it and have these people to say you know you did it my husband is in the service trying to protect our country and this company is bogus on all levels and now they are reporting and flagging my account with fraudulent information its a pandemic out here and they dont care but to harass me without proper information
