Consumer Complaint: My XXXX 's Comenity bank credit card was used without my authorization by XXXX 's stores. I called and XXXX 's corrected the incorrect charge and refunded the {$55.00}. I called Comenity credit card and they said they would correct the late fees and confirmed the account would show a {$0.00} balance within 3-4 days. This did not happen, so I called on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with both XXXX & XXXX and they confirmed that the fees would be eliminated as promised. This did not happen. I then called again and spoke with XXXX who again said it would be corrected and the amount owed would be {$0.00} and corrected in 3-4 days to reflect back to {$0.00}. On the third month of incorrect late fees on a false charge by XXXX 's, they then corrected the issue of the balance and closed the account as of XXXX, and this was reflected correctly as a {$0.00} balance, closed account. However, they STILL failed to correct my balance and past due amounts ... I NEVER owed anything in XXXX. I was NEVER late. This is provable by whom I spoke with & & & the fact that I personally did not pay ANY money to this account, they did themselves because they were wrong!!! This is still not fixed on my credit report because of Comenity Banks ineptitude and lack of follow through on their end.

Consumer Complaint: This company working under the name of attorney XXXX XXXX contacted my niece and my ex-wife seeking information about my location which they already had because they had texted me hundred different name several times and I had not responded as originally known number and name. The indicated to my niece and to my ex-wife that this was a criminal case it already been filed in XXXX XXXX. Both of these things are untrue. The case number that was provided to my relatives was simply my file number but was represented as a court case filing. When I did call the number that was provided I was directed through a large answering service to a secondary service where the individual would not identify the name of the company only that they held a debt that was payable admit I had a choice of them submitting papers for his summary judgment order of setting up a time payment for the debt. I asked that all papers be emailed to me that I could actually read them. This was resisted by the woman on the phone did not give me your name nor direct line so that if we were disconnected I would be able to to call back. She promised to provide the paperwork with in one via email. I have not received any documentation from them 24 hours later. I was not informed they were debt collection company. I was not informed that the conversation was being recorded. I was not informed that they were asking for this information in order to recover the debt. I was not given the opportunity to dispute the debt. I was pressured to provide financial information submitted they could begin payments immediately.

Upon review of my last two statements, I see that I have been charged a late payment fee of {$27.00} on XX/XX/22 plus a {$2.00} interest fee on XX/XX/22. This was AFTER my payment in full of {$27.00} was paid and processed on XX/XX/22, as clearly shown on the statement I was sent and verified by the account summary on your website. Also, despite this balance being paid in full by me on XX/XX/22, which was an error on my part and I should have investigated instead of allowing it to be paid by my bank automatically, I was AGAIN charged a {$2.00} interest charge on XX/XX/22 with no outstanding balance on the account. I sent a letter in writing to the company on XX/XX/22 and received no response, my account shows no change, and I am unable to get through via phone.

The charge was from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. However, Comenity Capital Bank, XX/XX/2022, issued a XXXX XXXX- {$1600.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX advised via email dated XX/XX/2022, and XX/XX/2022, that they DID NOT DISPUTE THE CHARGE BACK from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022, they incurred a charge back in the amount {$1600.00}. PDF copies of emails, Dispute Resolution Form, Cardholder Dispute Charge back and XXXX XXXX XXXX FORM.
