Consumer Complaint: I recently moved back to the United Estates on XX/XX/XXXX, after living in XXXX for over 13 years. I contacted a realtor to help me search for my future home, so she suggested I install XXXX XXXX which I did, and I found out about 1 Delinquency dated back in XXXX. It brought me a red flag that something was wrong because I was still in XXXX that year! I contacted the 3 Credit Bureau to start the Dispute against that fraudulent activity immediately, and we could process it without any delay. The company that opened that account ( without my authorization ) is Comenity Capital Bank which already had transferred that account to XXXX XXXX XXXX for Collection. However, thanks to the early approach to do the Dispute with the 3 XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, I got a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, letting me know that they have reviewed their records and gave the following updates : We have closed 'your account ( which is not mine ) and ceased collections. You have no further obligation regarding this account. I honestly thought that the issue was erased from my credit report because XXXX, my personal Bank since XXXX, was able to give me a XXXX XXXX Credit Card ; however, my realtor emailed me a screenshot about some delinquency in my report and was unable to proceed with my mortgage correctly because of that issue showing still in my report? I decided to contact XXXX today to proceed with a Dispute to Comenity Capital Bank, and the representative from XXXX suggested I report this issue to this official site. Please I need your assistance regarding this terrifying issue because I can not imagine that this activity could damage my dream of a smooth transition back to my home USA and my dream to purchase my future. Consumer Complaint: I received my paper statement in the mail today and noticed that XXXX 's ( Comenity Capital Bank ) charged me a {$35.00} late fee on my bill. The bill was due XX/XX/2022, the payment was made XX/XX/2022 a little after XXXX that evening, the payment was processed XX/XX/2022. I called in and spoke with a representative who refused to remove the late payment after I gave her notice that XXXX 's was violating my consumer rights on my open end consumer credit account. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with XXXX # XXXX, whom I explained that a late fee is a violation of my consumer rights and I refuse to pay any illegally added charges and he pretty much laughed and told me they are not federally regulated by anyone because they are a bank and their terms and agreements trump federal law. I asked XXXX who are they regulated by and he proceeded to tell me no one, they were not violating my rights, and they will not honor my demand. He also stated that I shouldn't have called to remedy the situation, just don't pay my bill, contact legal, and contact the Attorney General if its an issue.

Consumer Complaint: Hello Respected Sir/Mam, This complaint is against Comenity bank XXXX credit card. The bank offered me a balance transfer offer and I tried to use it. The bank promised that the funds will be available to use within 30 days from the request. I never received the funds and it is been more than 30 days. I called bank and asked to track the check they sent and confirm when/how the check was cashed? They don't have any details on check being cashed ever. Now they started charging me for the monthly payment for the amount of balance transfer which I never received. I called the bank multiple times but they are not helping to resolve this issue.
