Consumer Complaint: I was unaware when XXXX was transferred to comenity bank due to a bankruptcy that happened. The issue is I made a payment in XX/XX/2022 for a total of {$500.00} to pay off the account. Thinking that I paid the debt off from XXXX, comenity bank put interest that accrued on the account for {$4.00} plus a late fee that they apparently do not know how to explain to me or what amount my late fee is going to be. Comenity stated that they do now know what type of interest or late fee is going to be compounded or appear on the account. I find this absurd since they picked up my debt from XXXX. It seems as though they want to keep me in debt with their company. They are doing this with malicious intent. I did not receive any letters stating that XXXX was going through a bankruptcy and commenity bank was going to pick up their accounts. Another issue is that when I logged into my account with XXXX, it would automatically log into my account. Now that comenity bank has my accocunt they do not know how I can login. Since my account was paperless I do not have access to my account numbers.

Consumer Complaint: Despite sending FTC reports, police reports, notarized documents and filing disputes, and then hiring a credit repair company, all three credit bureaus and several creditors are still reporting fraudulent information and have not removed the items. Please see attached supporting documents that explain the situation, and the accounts in dispute. Complaints are being filed against both the bureaus and the creditors. This has been going on for years and it is extremely damaging to my credit and is costing me money to fight it. I want the items removed immediately. FTC and police reports attached.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter by Comenity Capital Bank that my limit was decreased. I have been a loyal customer to this card for over four years. They have done this to me twice. I have been good with my payments and haven't missed one in years. I pay more than the minimum limit and again they have done this to me twice. My score is low due to my wife being sick and our limits going up on my cards. However these people lowered my limit which means they are basically kicking me when I am down. I called today and they give me XXXX number... basically " shooing '' me away. I have not been neglectful to this bill and I have been on time with my payments. I just want to be treated fairly and this is the only card that has done this to me.

The information displayed is not Fair and equitable to me. I have received information regarding a debt that is being claimed against me. Through my rights, in accordance with 15 U.S. Code 1692g, I hold the right to validate and verify the total debt amount, including any fees, and who the original party that is making the claim. After receiving such information I will review and respond within the 30-day period allotted to me under federal law. If it is found that there is no evidence of this debt under my name then I demand that all credit bureaus and financial institutions be made aware or a complaint will be filed to the respective federal agency. Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank has failed to mark negative tradelines that they are reporting to all three credit bureaus as " Disputed '' within 31 days of them receiving my formal disputes regarding their inaccurate reporting on my credit reports via certified mail. I have receipts with tracking numbers proving that they received my certified mail enclosing my disputes. As well as copies of my credit reports, that shows they did not mark the accounts as disputed. They have failed to do what is prescribed by law. I also have credit monitoring in place that alerts me to comments, changes, etc. If Comenity Bank does not remove the items being negatively reported under my social security number I will use all legal remedies afforded to me per FCRA & FDCPA. FDCPA section 807 ( 8 ) and FCRA section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) requires that ANY TIME a consumer contacts an entity questioning a line item that they placed on their credit report, they are required to contact the credit bureaus on the consumer 's behalf, and add a sentence to their credit report WITHIN 30 CALENDAR DAYS that says the consumer has disputed the negative item in question. In my case, Comenity Bank has failed to follow the law spelled out above, they are currently reporting two negative tradelines to all three credit bureaus under my social security number, and they did not follow the steps prescribed by law.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card with XXXX and out of the blue my card was declined at a store I was trying to make a purchase. It was declined. I opened my XXXX app that service the account with and it was blank and said N/A. I contacted XXXX and they said the account has been turned over to another servicer. I have a balance on this card i want to pay off in full like i do every month but XXXX will not give me information due to the account being switched. i have no idea who the company is or when my balance is due. The one lady at XXXX named XXXX said i had two cards with XXXX which is false. i told them this could be fraudulent but they said they cant speak to me... What am i to do when i am sure i have a due date coming up but no way of verifying this is fraud or my purchases. Please help!

This is COMMENITY bank overstock store cardI have Other commenity store cards that over the last 2 yrs my credit line has went up even in XXXX of 2021 applied at a different store and my credit line was opened at XXXX dollers. so why commentiy decreased my over few months and in XXXX decreased is to XXXX dollers never missed a payment and every time I ask WHY? write a letter I did got the same generic response due to info recieved from one of your credit repoerting agebcys... CONTACT them. What I reply why? so I do then am told what I know as my score ans all is correct I need to contact them. I reply I was told to ask you what info you send to them. NO NO NO mae We update what we recieve not the other way around contact the card issuer. I do again and told again contact your credit buerous.
