Consumer Complaint: Good morning I am having a problem with my XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX issued by comenity bank. They are negatively impacting my XXXX XXXX I reached out to them over a year ago trying to resolve this issue and no results. I stopped using the card in the middle of XXXX and at beginning of XXXX I full payed the balance around {$130.00}. XX/XX/XXXX, I started getting phone calls stating I owe them {$50.00} for a {$20.00} subscription I purchased XX/XX/XXXX. I have not use the card since XXXX and I am currently in and have been hospitalized since XX/XX/XXXX. I explained this to them and in XX/XX/XXXX they credited and zeroed out the account. now they are emailing me and claiming I owe them {$250.00} for the same subscription charges this year XX/XX/XXXX. I reached out to XXXX and Comenity bank and asked for the charges to be removed and my account be closed and they told me that I had to repeat the same process from last year, dispute the charges and wait on the investigation. My credit score was lowered. Ive never had a problem paying my bills. If you pull up my credit report you will see that all of my accounts are in good standing and have been for years. I am requesting that the charges be dropped, the account be closed and my credit score to be restored. Please assist me in resolving this problem. Consumer Complaint: I used my XXXX bank credit card to pay off a XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card at Comenity Bank. XXXX processed the transaction on XX/XX/2022. As of today, XX/XX/2022, the payment has not been processed at XXXX Comenity Bank. I called today and they said it may be processed tomorrow, which will be two weeks since the payment was made or it could take up to 5 business days after tomorrow. I know they received that money on XX/XX/XXXX and they know they received that money on XX/XX/XXXX, so to act as if they did not receive it is an insult to me and every other customer they are doing this too. Now, all of my credit reports show I have two credit cards with over XXXX balances, that is wrong. Is this practice legal? I know it is not ethical.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I returned home from a trip and found a billing statement in my mail from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX with a new balance due of {$13000.00}. The bank that issued the credit card is COMENITY. There was a single transaction posted on XX/XX/XXXX for the entire balance due. I did not open this account or authorize a purchase and believe I may be a victim of identity theft. I called the customer service # on the billing statement to report the fraud and was connected to Comenity 's fraud department. I was told they would open an investigation and close the account. Today I noticed the opening of this new account has appeared on my credit reports so I wanted to take this additional action of reporting the fraud. Please let me know if there is more information I can provide. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity - Explorer Rewards Card. Our mail has been slow ( mis-delivered ) for several months now. I've been receiving my statement about 7-10 days before the due date. I set up payment through my bank 's bill-payer, who has been increasing the lead-time on mailing payment to the creditor. I've tracked payments that have taken 10-14 days to reach the payee. Even one that arrived there 1 week before the due date. In all cases, the payments were posted late and late fees with interest charged. I've paid off the balance and paid the late fees for three months, while submitting the tracking documents to their service dept to request the removal of those fees. just received another statement showing an accumulated balance of late fees with interest along with new fees. The principal was paid off months ago. I pay all my bills on time, so why single out this card to pay late? Comenity XXXX said that I " could mail the payment months early, and shouldn't expect a waiver '' if they post it late, even if I prove it arrived 7 days before the due date ''. She suggested that I call in to pay over the phone every month. The irony is that I don't need to use the card. I had it for convenience and it is much easier to just pay with cash. Now I'm not inclined to even shop at the store anymore. But maybe that is the card company 's intention ; to run off customers for the company they serve. The last two months, I have remitted the full statement balance of the late fees, hoping that it would zero the account and stop it. I'm again going to pay off the full balance. The late fees are {$35.00} per month and the interest of a couple dollars is carrying over a balance. So, the late fee is 30 times more than the balance. Then the interest accumulates on the late fee, too. So three months later, they billed me over {$100.00} in late fees and interest for a payment that arrived before the due date ( see attached tracking history ). I believe this is a predatory scheme of loan-sharking. It is unethical and disgusting behavior for a credit card company.

They continue to charge me interest and initially refused to close my account even if I paid off the debt that they said I owed. I was hung up on several times and also the customer service agent cussed at me and refused to close my account. I was finally able to get a hold of someone else who explained everything to me, deleted the fees after I threatened to report them, and supposedly closed my account. I have no confirmation that the account was actually closed Nor do I have any confirmation that they did away with the interest on a XXXX balance credit account. I will no longer have cards with Comenity

Consumer Complaint: Victoria 's Secret has failed to properly report an updated credit report since XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have called them XXXX times and every time they have told me it was because they switched to a new system and there are delays in reporting for their customers. This is through comenity bank. They have also said it's to help their customers which in fact does not help them at all. My card is completely paid off and my report is not accurate causing me severe financial issues in getting a home loan. It does not take XXXX XXXX to report to a bureau and their excuses are ridiculous.
