It is not permissible to fail to validate this reporting account as unverified information without providing any proof within the time frame specified by law. Consumer Complaint: Subject : Comenity Bjs Wholesale Mastercard, card ending in XXXX I need your help. I paid off this credit card, even received a letter from them stating my balance was {$0.00}. I cancelled the card and then I started receiving late fees for owing them nothing. I believe I am being harassed since I turned to you for help in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time Comenity did not credit my account ( {$120.00} ) for the full amount on my check ( {$120.00} ), where Comenity started to assess interest. You were very helpful in getting that issue resolved. Timeline : XX/XX/XXXX : My last purchase on the card was for gasoline at BJs for {$35.00}. It has not been used since. XX/XX/XXXX : I paid my bill on-time and in-full, {$290.00}, ( check number XXXX ) in Comenitys provided envelope with their address showing thru the envelope window. Payment was made before the due date XX/XX/XXXX. I always take my mail to the post office and drop it in the inside collection point or with the post office teller. Note : I received it back from the post office XX/XX/XXXX. In speaking directly to the post office teller, who reviewed the post offices printing on the envelope, I was told the letter was routed 3 times before being returned to me. The outside of the envelope was marked, Return to Sender, Not Deliverable as Addressed, Unable to forward. See attached. XX/XX/XXXX ( Sunday ) : I received a text from Comenity, they were trying to reach me ; I thought it was a scam and decided to call them using a phone number I identified as being Comenity, on a regular business day to verify. XX/XX/XXXX ( Monday ) : I called Comenity who stated they did not receive my XX/XX/XXXX payment. Per Comenitys associate I now owed {$640.00}, he dropped all fees ( late and interest charges ). {$640.00} was correct. I immediately wrote the check in the full amount ( check number XXXX ) and had it at the post office within the hour. XX/XX/XXXX : Received the XX/XX/XXXX bill payment envelope back from the post office, see above. XX/XX/XXXX ( Sunday ) : I spoke to Comenity associate, XXXX and stated I received the {$290.00} bill/envelope back from the post office, it had been returned to me unopened and I believed there was a problem with Comenitys mailing address. I explained in detail what had happened and she stated the address was correct. XX/XX/XXXX : According to my bank, check number XXXX cleared for the full amount, {$640.00}. This was before the typical monthly due date, the XXXX of the month. Payment was not late. XX/XX/XXXX : I spoke to Comenity, the {$640.00} was received on XX/XX/XXXX. Per the associate, there was {$0.00} due on the account. I cancelled the Comenity BJs card at that moment. XX/XX/XXXX : I received a letter stating, excerpt : Your current balance is {$0.00}, and you will continue to receive monthly billing statements until any balance is paid in full. See attached. XX/XX/XXXX ( Saturday ) : Received a bill for {$5.00} ( marked interest charge on purchases. ) Note : No purchases were made since XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX ( Monday ) : Spoke to Comenity representative XXXX. He was to zero out the charges. XX/XX/XXXX : Received a bill for {$13.00} ( {$5.00} previous balance, {$5.00} new late fee, {$2.00} interest charge ). Should you need any documentation, I can provide it. I have tried to resolve this myself, without any luck, can you help? As I keep trying to resolve this with Comenity representatives the interest and late fees keep adding up and they do not do what they tell me on the phone. I can not get free of Comenity. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX i purchased a pool for XXXX and paid this pool off on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX payment of XXXX and additional payment of XXXX which paid off both my statements for each month of XXXX and XXXX. At the end of XXXX I disputed the XXXX because till today the pool has not been completed, But the bank stated they would give me a credit, which they never did, I still made all my monthly payments, in full and never did not make any payments to my account. Never used the any monies that had anything to do with the dispute. Then on XXXX XXXX the bank showed a XXXX charge on my account, which they claimed XXXX XXXX XXXX made, which in XXXX i come to find out from the fraud department it was not XXXX XXXX XXXX it was the bank itself trying to charge me for something they never had given me back, Which clearly shows on my credit card statements that I never received a credit and continued to make my balance payments. Then When I filed a fraud Dispute the Fraud depatment figured out that it was the dispute department that made the error, and Lied and said it was the bank. Then I called back again, and spoke with a supervisor, and we went through every statement and he saw that I was correct and could not understand if I paid my statements in full why the dispute department recharged me for something they never credited me back for on my acccount. I have every credit card statement it shows, that every bill was paid in full and the supervisor went through each one with me and saw the exact same thing, and could not believe why his dispute department did what they did, and if this bank has recordings they should pull it to see how this is strickly on the bank. They are trying to charge me for something that they never gave me.

Consumer Complaint: An XXXX XXXX was opened with Comenity Bank using my info fraudulently. After several attempts of contact, I was unable to make headway on cancelling the application and thus the card. Instead, I used XXXX Bank credit and fraud services in conjunction with XXXX to contest this application and item on my credit report. They were able to successfully work with Comenity Bank on getting the card closed and application rejected as fraudulent. XXXX is also working to remove the application and card from my credit report with all 3 bureaus and has placed a fraud notice on my reports for future inquires.

Consumer Complaint: My own mother ruined my credit when I was younger she would always make me get on the phone and tell companies I agree and I never knew what it was for until later in life when I tried doing this with credit and was denied and I checked and saw so many debts left unpaid from companies she would frequently purchase from, she denied and then eventually told the truth but in true narcissistic fashion she blamed me saying it was my fault because as a child I asked for things that were expensive so instead of saying no she committed fraud using my name and ruined my credit with no intention of ever paying it back or fixing it, I was finally able to move away and when I did I realized just how bad it actually was I am denied from everything and struggling with my own child because I have this large debt that was not my fault.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Capital Bank Is fraudulently charging late fees to my account after the statements were submitted and when it was paid in full. I paid in full and closed out this account in XXXX of XXXX due to the constant fraudulent charges being placed on my account by CCB. CCB then charged over XXXX in late fees after I had closed out the account with a XXXX balance. My credit score was being effected by these erroneous charges so I paid off the incorrect balance {$120.00} on the card yet again in full XX/XX/XXXX. I have asked for transcripts or copies of the records/ recordings of and for my calls and payments due to charges being paid in full and after processing other charges being added. I was told on XX/XX/XXXX by a CCB manager that I need a subpoena to receive these records. After reviewing the XXXX XXXXeports this seems to be a constant complaint against this company.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I checked my credit report and found a hard pull from 'ComenityCapital/XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX on my XXXX report that I did not authorize nor initiate. I immediately contacted Comenity and spoke to someone who confirmed there was an application using my info. She said they would decline the application and remove the pull from my credit history. on XX/XX/XXXX I checked my credit again and the inquiry was still there so I submitted a dispute on the grounds of fraud with XXXX which was denied. I then contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX regarding the dispute and was told that I needed to contact Comenity to have them issue a deletion of the pull. Again, on XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Comenity who now claims there is no record of my previous contact or application under my name, social, etc and that I need to contact the credit bureau.Currently, the inquiry on my credit report remains, as neither Comenity nor Equifax will take steps to rectify the fraudulent report.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute letter with my credit report highlighting all the errors on my credit report. However, we have allowed furniture providers to violate the FCRA Act under Article 623 ( a ) which states, prohibits furnishers from reporting information to a CRA if the furnisher knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.14 The statute defines reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate to mean specific knowledge, other than solely allegations by the consumer, that would cause a reasonable person to have substantial doubts about the accuracy of the information. COMENITY BANK/EXPRESS HAS BROKEN THE LAW WITH GIVING INACCURATE INFORMATION TO ALL THREE CREDIT BUREAUS ... CHECK THE ATTACHMENT BELOW... LIKE HOW IS THE DATE OPENED INCORRECT ON ALL THREE... IS THIS ACCURATE? LIKE HOW IS THE DATE REPORTED INCORRECT ON ALL THREE BUREAUS. OVERALL, HOW IS THE DATE LAST ACTIVE INCORRECT... PLEASE READ ATTACHMENTS. I PRAYFULLY YOU DELETE DUE TO YOUR MISTAKES OF MY CREDIT REPORT. HAS INSURANCE BEEN FILED ON THIS ACCOUNT? HAS A 1099C BEEN FILED ON THIS CHARGEOFF ACCOUNT?
