Consumer Complaint: This company has repeatedly called me at least 12 times in a day from different numbers, after Ive asked for them to not contact me. I block numbers as they come through and then they just call from a different number. I guess they do it like that so it doesnt look like theyre harassing people and its harder to track but I am tired of getting all of these calls especially after Ive told them to stop calling/contacting me. I dont even know where/why half of them are contacting me. I know that the company is on my credit report multiple times and Ive disputed with no avail.

Consumer Complaint: I called customer service XXXX and asked why my Comenity store card for XXXX XXXX card was deactivated when I paid the account full and last payment was XX/XX/year>. I received no letter or email stating that my card was deactivated for no usage activity. I have had this card for several years and never had a problem and always paid my balance when recieved. I was at the store about to pay for jeans and the store clerk from the XXXX, IL store said my card was deactivated and I need to call customer service to get it reinstated. I talked to customer service and they were no help and then I talked to a supervisor and they said they can not reactivate my XXXX card for XXXX days. I told them this was not authorized and they can not just deactivate your card from no activity since XX/XX/year>.

Creditor would also call on weekends. Additionally, the collector never sent a written notice. Pictures attached show recent 48 hour call log. Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - I moved to my current residence, and ordered a recliner, rugs, etc., from XXXX. Everything is paid in full, except for the recliner. XX/XX/XXXX- Within 2 months, recliner began having irregular operation/movement and wasn't working smoothly. XX/XX/XXXX - Contacted XXXX, Comenity Bank ( credit card ), and XXXX ( issuer of 5 year extended " Elite 5 year Replacement Warranty ) XX/XX/XXXX- XXXX, a service technician came to my home, and declared that my new recliner could NOT be repaired, as it had a " MANUFACTURER DEFECT '' ..... HE ALSO REFUSED TO LET ME MAKE A COPY OF HIS 'REPORT ', before he left my residence. XXXX thru XX/XX/XXXX - Continued making on time payments while Comenity Bank, XXXX, and XXXX insisted they were promising to " resolve '' the issue. XX/XX/XXXX - Comenity Bank sent a letter to all it's customers, telling us they would NO LONGER be servicing XXXX Credit Card as of XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX- Comenity Bank reported my discontinuation of on-time payments, to XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX Comenity Bank removed the derogatory remarks from my credit report. XX/XX/XXXX- Comenity AGAIN reported derogatory remarks, to XXXX.. for this same issue. XX/XX/XXXX- Sent a 20 ( +/- ) page file to XXXX, proving I had good cause for stopping payment. They informed me that Comenity had " closed my account '' back in XX/XX/XXXX. NOW ... .. not only is my credit report being affected - AGAIN - for the SAME issue, but Comenity Bank expects me to pay the ENTIRE amount, when my on-time balance in XX/XX/XXXX, was approx. {$190.00} I have- so far - had one of my other credit cards lower my available credit, due to this negative information.

Consumer Complaint: I received a notification from XXXX that my account was delinquent in XX/XX/2023. I called XXXX and discovered that the CometyCapital/DELL reported a 30 days late payment. I then reached our to ComenityCapital/DELL. They confirmed that they didn't receive my monthly payment for 2 months that was why it was reported. I instantly said that wasn't possible because I had auto pay setup on the account for over 2 years and I have never missed any payments. They later confirmed DELL switched payment and Marchant system which removed all the previous autopay that customers had previously set with the old system ( DELL Financial Services ). However, I wasn't notified. I never received any mail or email or call or text or any form of notification. They said letter was sent out but I never received it. The delay of the said payment was as a result of the change they made and not my fault. I can prove that as at the date of original autopay I had set up my autopsy I had enough money to take care of all auto payments., My records is a prove to that. I have never missed a payment. This is an example of unfair Act of Practice that has caused me substantial injury. I just lost the ability to put in an offer for a home because my Leander couldn't continue to pursue my loan with the Low Credit score report that this situation has caused.

Consumer Complaint: This is a follow up to complaint XXXX. I purchased plane tickets and the airline company did not assign me seats so i was not allowed to board the plane. I had to repurchase seats for a flight the next day. I provided all information and proof of the original purchase then a repurchase since i couldnt board. I could not reach airline and the credit card company did not fully investugate the case because all the proof provided showed exactly what i was saying and i am due a refund.

Consumer Complaint: I had what I thought was a zero-interest offer from my XXXX to buy XXXX XXXXXXXX. The company, Comenity Bank, AKA Bread Financial, has a misleading statement. They charged nearly {$700.00} on a {$1000.00} balance. I don't know how that is legal in the U.S. I'm not complaining for the money. The {$700.00} scam fee is unfortunately, but I'll just close the account. I'm worried about the potentially thousands of victims of this company because it operates in the healthcare financing space. Comenity Bank, AKA Bread Financial, is ripping off vulnerable people. I hope the CFPB makes an example of them.

Consumer Complaint: 15USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) clearly states that transactions between the consumer and the Person/Corporation making the report is NOT included on the consumer reports. Yet XXXX is reporting this information.. The reporting of excluded information pursuant to 15USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) on a consumer report is a clear violation of XXXX compliance. Provide me with the XXXX compliance disclosure on reporting transactions to a consumer reporting agency. I need the transactions reporting as late, collection/charge-off status and any other derogatory information deleted from my consumer reports effective immediately. Before you think to reply that this account has been " validated ', let 's be clear that I am not asking you to validate or verify anything. So please do not respond by telling me that as a tactic to waste my valuable time. Some of the negative accounts have been placed in Collection/Charge-Off Status WITHOUT mailing me a copy of IRS form 1099-C Cancellation of Debt. XXXX and the creditors reporting collections/Charge-Offs, late payments/other derogatory information in my consumer reports are in violation of 26 USC ss 6050P Returns Relating to the Cancellation of Indebtedness By Certain Entities. If this derogatory account information is not deleted from my consumer reports within 30 days, I will be forced to officially file IRS form 3949A : Information Referral AND IRS form 211 : Application For Award For Original Information Overview with the Internal Revenue Service against ALL entities involved.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I bought a laptop from XXXX using personal XXXX credit card. I returned the laptop XXXX month later due technical issues that XXXX did not resolve. XXXX sent me a return document with the credit back to my personal XXXX credit account. XXXX XXXX ( comenity ) still sent me bill payments. I sent to comenity the XXXX return document. I still receiving bill payments from comenity. I asked comenity to show me the document that make them collect money from me. They want me to call XXXX sales but they do not give me the contact information to contact XXXX sales. I called several times to comenity for updates to fix this issue in promptly manner, they cut off the calls or gave me phone numbers that are only answer machines without answering the question I asked. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit statement from credit karma lowering my credit report. Comenity do not want to fix this issue. I already told comenity that they lack of diligence will affect my credit report. Comenity is acting unprofessionally.

Consumer Complaint: I completed a consult with XXXX and in the process was coached into applying for a loan with this company - I do not think the second party company should be able to do that I also tried to cancel with the company and they refused I called the lender 12 hours later they told me no money had been released and they would close the account, told me they could not give me any confirmation by email as all communication has to be mailed I found out 2 days later they had paid laserway and that there was a lag in posting but nothing they could do about it I never received any official information from the lender about interest rates etc and am still in the dark waiting caught between 2 institutions
