Consumer Complaint: I disputed the purchase of a defective XXXX XXXX console with XXXX XXXX. The XXXX XXXX console has a known issue where the system goes into rest mode when ever it wants. There are XXXX possible resolutions to this issue, If those XXXX resolutions are unsuccessful it is a defective machine. I tried both resolutions and currently have the XXXX XXXX console set to those settings specified. The system still turns off right in the middle of you playing it despite the do not enter rest mode setting being selected. I disputed this with my XXXX XXXX XXXX and they took that amount off of my credit report, they then added it back on XX/XX/XXXX costing me XXXX credit reports or close to, and said they sent out a notice regarding my dispute. I have not received this notice nor have I had time to act in response. They took XXXX days and did not reach out to me once to get details about my situation, I cant see anything they did in their dispute. XXXX never returns messages regarding my defective XXXX and they say that they dont provide refunds on items over {$500.00}. They dont tell you this before you purchase the item or even at time of purchase. Their refund policy is on the back of your receipt in small print, and you only know it is there if you have a problem. I am not paying for defective merchandise and told XXXX XXXX they can have their console back and I reached out to them via their website messaging system several times to ask them what is going on with my dispute and XXXX XXXX never contacted me once to find out the details of my situation and they just found in the merchants favor. I need help with the sale of defective merchandise they wont take back. I am not paying for this and want it removed from my credit like I said they can have it back.

Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase with my XXXX XXXX XXXX Mastercard on XX/XX/XXXX. Applying for the card promised 12 months 0 % financing and a year free welcome + rewards membership ( {$35.00} value ) if approved. I was approved but did not get confirmation of either offer. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX, customer service for the store, and was referred to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX Mastercard. They told me to wait until the billing cycle closed and the purchase posted. I waited and the promo was not applied so I made a dispute on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told it would take up to 90 days for a resolution. As of XX/XX/XXXX I have not received a resolution. I requested and update on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and was told it waa still being investigated even though it was past the 90 days promised.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/XXXX, I received a credit card I never applied for. It's the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, provided through Comenity Bank in XXXX, Ohio. Its the actual CARD with the account number, and not a credit card offer. Its slate grey with XXXX XXXX logo on it. It doesnt specify if its XXXX XXXX XXXX or etc. But the attached letter does say it has a {$250.00} starting limit. I also received a couple e-mails from my credit monitoring service saying this account was opened a couple days ago, so I know its real and its now impacting my credit reports. The problem is I was never the one who applied for this card. My credit monitoring also looks like someone was trying to apply for an XXXX XXXX card in XX/XX/XXXX, also through Comenity. Well I have a vile stepmother whos originally from Ohio, and Im sure she still has friends there. She was HIGHLY likely involved in a credit card theft that occurred after my father died from XXXX in XXXX, among other crimes, and I know for a fact she has access to my social security number from my fathers paperwork. I cant say for sure exactly what she did because theres so much insane backstabbing and silence within my family. I find all of this deeply disturbing, IF theres any kind of connection between the family nonsense and these fraudulent credit card applications in Ohio. She would be in her early 70s now. She currently lives in XXXX XXXX from the last I heard ( several years ago ). Im submitting this report through the PA Attorney General and the CFPB. Im not complaining Comenity themselves necessarily did anything wrong. But someone, somewhere is doing some scary, not-nice things with my identity and it needs to be stopped. Im also in the process of trying to call Comenity XXXX XXXX fraud department at XXXX but the automated call service is telling me the department is currently closed and I should try again later. Probably because its Saturday ( XX/XX/XXXX ), but it doesnt give me a time I should call back. I DO NOT want to try calling the card activation number on the welcome letter, because this is not something I legitimately applied for!

Consumer Complaint: Received bill in XXXX, XXXX card, Comenity Bank. Paid balance in full ( {$74.00} ) on XX/XX/23 in advance of due date XX/XX/23. Paid by electronic transfer from my bank. Comenity claims they did not receive my payment. I disputed this. Received " secure message from them stating that " I am with Comenity Capital Bank, which handles your credit card account. I'm here to help with your account needs. I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. I did a review of your account and I see that the dispute has been filed on XX/XX/2023. Our dispute team is working dedicatedly in regards to your concern. Until we find the best resolution for your concern, we won't collect the amount in question or report you as delinquent to the credit reporting agencies '' Nevertheless this " delinquency '' was reported to credit agencies ( XXXX ) and as a result my credit rating has dropped from XXXX on XX/XX/23 to XXXX on XX/XX/23. Comenity says they will investigate and if I am right, they will correct my credit score. XXXX they said they wouldn't report it ; XXXX. 90 days at his much lower rate is literally hurting me. All because they can't find the money I sent to them on time.

I spent about {$20.00} at XXXX that day and I paid off my balance I then got hit with a late payment that I had absolutely no idea about and three months later I have a rolling XXXX, XXXX late payment that takes my credit score for a XXXX to a XXXX. I I pay off the entire balance of {$170.00} of interest from a {$20.00} payment and send a goodwill letter to fix my credit and they deny it. Worst credit card company ever unethical and should be illegal to do this.

Consumer Complaint: I received my XXXX statement from ComenityXXXX Visa XXXX and noticed that my previous payment was also there. I checked my bank and see that they did not cash the payment until XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I contacted their customer service by phone, and while waiting for them I did some research on this company and found that they have a tendency to process payments past due date and then charged consumers late fees plus interest. After I talked to their customer services, he reversed the charges. Dues to their unethical business practice and to protect my credit scores, I canceled the credit card. When I receive my last statement, I contact them again, and this time I want to redeem my cash back ( {$130.00} ) she said that since I canceled the card, They won't redeem my cash back, this is wrong and I want my cash back.

I've written to Comenity many times about the various problems, over the last few months, and they never fix anything. Now, the problems are getting worse. They have not credited me the rewards I'm due, upward of {$100.00}. When I asked them to fix it, they acknowledged the problem, but didn't fix it. In the process, they deleted my rewards which had already been credited in the past!
