Consumer Complaint: I received a statement in the mail last week stating that i had an outstanding balance for a purchase from XXXX XXXX XXXX that i made on XX/XX/XXXX. The purchase was paid off in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I made efforts to reach out to the company. On every attempt that was made via telephone my calls were dropped. I then attempted to reach out via email. Each email was returned as not delivered. After doing further research i discovered that my personal account information was used for a purchase in XXXX XXXX, Louisiana on XX/XX/XXXX that i didnt authorize. My credit score has dropped due to the fraudulent activities.

Consumer Complaint: I have very good credit and pay my bills on time I believe I owed either XXXX or XXXX cents on a bill I was out of the country I do not use this CC much when I came back I was billed for 2 times non payment then they refunded XXXX payment and said that was all they could do. So I canceled my card that day and asked what I owed and I paid the entire XXXX. I looked at my account later and it looked like I owed another XXXX cents I paid that now I have a bill of XXXX why??? They have a return check charge I have never had XXXX in my life. I do not understand they are trying to scam and when you stay on the line and want customer service they say this number does not have that. Extra points Comenity XXXX XXXX packer card.

Consumer Complaint: Received a voice mail at work over the weekend for a name I couldn't completely understand ( sounded like XXXX XXXX? ), but it was not recognizable as mine nor any of my coworkers. Said she was XXXX with " Comenity Bank '' and to please call XXXX ext XXXX. So I tried to on Monday but that phone number is now " not in service '' ( 2 days later ) so I tried the number that she called from : XXXX. That number IS Comenity Bank but none of the options are to talk to a person, so I entered the extension number and it took me to " payments '' and wanted me to enter my account # OR my social security number, of which I did neither. At no point can I tell this company to not call our office again as they are either 1. looking for someone not here or 2. phising for information like social security numbers .

Consumer Complaint: Hello- I had my card on auto draft with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . My account went late for 30 days and I did not know until they called me since I assumed my account was on auto pay since I had the problem before and tried to resolve. The gentleman on the phone told me that the late payment would be taken off and I paid the balance over the phone to have that removed. to my understanding it would be taken on my credit report. It is still showing so I called again to see the issue and the new customer service rep told me the previous rep told me the wrong information that it would not be removed off my repot but XXXX my account. So I am not understanding if I was told in accurate information why the late payment was not taken off my report as the first agent stated. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: This claim is a continuation of claim XXXX which was closed without resolution. I have had a XXXX credit card with XXXX XXXX XXXX since XXXX, with a credit limit of {$16000.00}. I have had no problems with the account until the transition from XXXX XXXX XXXX to Comenity Bank in the first week of XXXX. I made two payments to my act in the amount of {$5000.00} each, one from my XXXX XXXX Account on XX/XX/XXXX and another {$5000.00} payment from my XXXX XXXX Account on XX/XX/XXXX. The latter payment was never credited to my account, and remains so to this day. I have submitted proof of payment provided by XXXX XXXX, who volunteered to doi a conference call to sort this out. XXXX XXXX was told that Comenity would not allow third party involvement, though this is the bank that made the payment. Furthermore, I was assured at the beginning that the disputed balance, interest and fees would not be reflected on my statement until after resolution. In spite of this the ( paid ) balance, interest and fees on same, have shown continually on my statements. This behaviour by Comenity Bank has harmed my credit rating and good name. This has caused me to lose much sleep as well as having no credit card to use. I never activated the card as I do not trust Comenity Bank. I have no debts at all ; vehicles and properties are all paid for. My debts to XXXX XXXX XXXX and Comenity are all paid off as well. I owe zero, the same can not be said for Comenity Bank. This should have been a simple ledger correction, yet Comenity Banks failure to address this in a timely and competent fashion finds me in continued financial and emotional distress.

Consumer Complaint: I paid my Victoria Secret account off in XXXX of 2022. I am trying to buy a home. I was told the account was closed. Was suppose to be sent a letter stating it was closed. I received call last week telling me i had a {$64.00} balance. I was then told it was because they reopened my account because they had to charge a {$2.00} interest fee. AFTER I PAID THE ACCOUNT IN FULL AND IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY CLOSED. I since XXXX, i have had multiple late fees reported to my credit. My score is significantly lower now than it was when i closed the account, all because of this card. I have paid off almost every single penny of debt I have. Except for student loans.

Consumer Complaint: The issue I am having is trying to get the SCRA ( Service Members Civil Release Act ) applied to my XXXX XXXX XXXX. My orders and all additional information to prove that I am in the military were accepted on XX/XX/2023. The letter that was sent back denying my eligibility states that the account was opened after the servicemembers entered active duty date. I contacted Comenity Capital Bank on XX/XX/2023, to talk about my situation with a customer service representative about my concerns. The policy that the representative and a manager told me was that the SCRA could only be applied to an account before the enlistment process into the military service had begun. I repeatedly told the representatives this was incorrect because I was fine opening other accounts. The SCRA is supposed to handle debt before enlisting, but it also covers service members during their enlistment when they apply for the SCRA on a credit card. This will be my second contract and fourth consecutive year of military service, and this is my first occurrence of this event. Still, I find it highly disrespectful to be denied, especially as a service member, and it makes me consider that I may not be the only one who has dealt with this similar issue.

Consumer Complaint: LOFT credit card customer. New credit card was issued ( I did not request this new card, I think the provider changed ). I used the card in XXXX, spent {$40.00}, but my auto payment was stopped ( without my knowledge ) and then no statement sent until XXXX. I was thus 3 months late in payment as I expected auto pay to resume, and had received no statement. Once I realized this in XXXX, I paid. However my 3 month delay was reported to credit agencies and my score dropped over XXXX points. I am trying to purchase a home with my husband l, and this is a huge issue for us and costing us thousands due to my low score. Repeated attempts have been made and no one from the bank servicer can help die to internal policies, but clearly there could be something done for a good will adjustment. The company tried to call me in XXXX to let me know of the late payment, but every time I picked up, no one answered so I assumed it was spam. I had to call myself to see what the issue was.
