Consumer Complaint: I applied for a credit card and received a letter saying I needed to call a number to activate it. They answered with a 'hello ' instead of a company name which was odd, and then proceeded to ask me to give every single bit of personal information to confirm my identity and wanted me to verify a text code - all exactly what is done to steal information. I said I'd already filled out all the information and asked if I could confirm with them anything, rather than give them all of it ( after I'd given them most of it ) they said I could not. I said I would not be giving them the information or signing up, but asked if they already ran my credit- they did, and it dinged my credit score. I'm extremely irritated as I'm trying to make some major purchases.

Consumer Complaint: I have automatic payment set up with my Bank to pay the statement in full every month. However, they are charging interest on items they say " have been purchase during the credit card statement cycle '' EVEN THOUGH THEY DO NOT SHOW THOSE CHARGES ON THE CURRENT STATEMENT FOR ME TO PAY!! How can I pay the full amount if I or my bank isn't given the correct amount? They said I should CALL THEM to find out. I think the correct amount should be on the credit card balance due. Example : last statement was for {$1200.00} and my bank paid that amount in full. This months statement has {$44.00} in legitimate charges but an additional {$10.00} for interest.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I have been having hard time trying to fix my credit with forever 21 and XXXX ever since the pandemic. i have been answering multiple calls and giving them an answer when i can do the payments. they are being really rude and forcing me to give them a payment that same day even though i told them I don't have the money and has even told me to give them my bank information to take out the payment monthly when AGAIN i have told them i don't have the money. They have also reach out to my mom asking about me even though I spoke to them already. Then I noticed the bank account that XXXX credit collection was scheduled to a payment, but they took a payment that was not authorized. I have called constantly to speak to agents and ALL agencies were very disrespectful and would hang up on me. I spoke to the manager, and she was also being rude and then a week later i received my money back but they still constantly call me being rude when i have clearly told them i have no money to do the payment.

Consumer Complaint: My account was paid in full for {$30.00} on XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023 the company levied a {$2.00} fee against me. This is all documented on the statement. I called the company to get them to remove it and they wouldn't so I immediately closed the account so they could not levy anymore fees. I then filed a dispute with all 3 credit bureaus. They are stating to the credit bureaus that the fee is legitimate. I don't see how that can be since it was charged to me AFTER the statement was paid in full. This seems ridiculous that I have to fight a company for {$2.00} but now it's the point of the matter. I had an account with them about 10 years ago and wound up shutting it down for the same type of shoddy service. I thought I would give them another chance when they approached me last year. No, their service is still unacceptable and that's why I paid the account off. I didn't plan to close the account however I knew they would probably try to serve me with more fees when I didn't pay this ridiculous {$2.00}. It will cost them more to take me to collections for the unlawful charge but I am refusing to pay this on principal now since they would not cooperate on the phone and are claiming to the bureaus it's a fair charge.
