Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, I was notified by XXXX XXXX that there was a change in my credit history. I found the Comenity Bank- the processor for XXXX ) listed my account as delinquent. I had never received a statement from Comenity. I called and found that while they said my account was delinquent, and in order to waive the late charges I need to pay the balance in full that day - XX/XX/XXXX, which I did. Now in XXXX, XXXX, I received a statement from Comenity indicating that I was delinquent with {$44.00} in late charges and interest due on a balance of {$1.00} that they said that I had not paid in XXXX. In order to reduce the late charges, I was again told that I needed to make a payment of {$20.00} to pay the account in full. I think that it is obvious that I would not have left a balance of {$1.00} on the account. I do not believe that I should have had to pay {$20.00} on the account when I was told in XXXX what my balance was to pay in full.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was repeatedly called by an unknown caller while at work. I answered and they told me it was the courthouse of XXXX XXXX in which I reside notifying I am being sued. They told me to call XXXX and said it is an attorneys office to receive further information. I called that number and received no information about what company or law office I was I speaking with. I was then transferred to a woman who basically ambushed me about a 10 year old debt, far beyond the statute of limitations in my state, with Comenity Bank that had already been resolved. She told me I owed an amount of around {$2000.00} on a debt that was about {$400.00} which again has already been resolved and removed from my credit about 4-5 years ago. She then threatened me being sued multiple times during the call. After hanging up I tried to call back to further question this matter only to find out they have blocked my phone number.

Consumer Complaint: The credit bureaus have ignored my attempts to have this negative account removed from my credit report. Comenity Bank has sold the three accounts that originated to them to debt collection companies. If theyve sold they debt, they should no longer report the debt is owed to them on my credit report and it should removed entirely as they are inaccurately reporting on my credit and misrepresenting themselves as the Owner of the debt with Ann Taylor, The Childrens Place and Victorias Secret. The Credit Bureau has continually ignored my requests to have this inaccuracy deleted and it has prevented me from being extended credit in different circumstances. I asked them to provide me with proof of write off/1099c form for charged off debt, they did not, they sold this date long ago and they are still attempting to collect on it. Please delete these three inaccurate accounts from my report immediately as they are in violation of the FCRA and 15 USC 1692 G validation of debt. Because they dont own they debt, how are they validating it as accurate?

Consumer Complaint: I was charged a {$30.00} late fee twice in the past year. Payments were sent by check 10 days before the due date. Twice my payment was processed a day late only when I did not have an existing balance with them. Once in XX/XX/XXXX and again XXXX of XXXX. In XXXX my {$30.00} was waived. The XXXX late fee was not since I had already received this type of credit to my account in the past 24 months. I feel this credit card company does not have the staff or is intentionally applying late fees to their customers. I feel they are defrauding me and issuing a late fee due to their staffing or business practices. This has not occurred on any of my other payments to XXXX and XXXX... .EVER.

Consumer Complaint: Community Bank representing both Jareds and Victorias Secret is reporting on both XXXX and XXXX that I am currently late every month on an accounts that they wrote off in 2019 as cancelled debt. They issued me two 1099-C that I had to include on my taxes. I am not currently late for any payments because the accounts are closed and should be reporting a XXXX balance. According to the law once a company has issued a 1099c for the debt, The debt is reported as canceled and you no longer have to make payments on it. It is not being reported this way because they are reporting as if I have missed another payment each month and keep updating my balance. They are being included in my credit score calculation incorrectly as well. Both XXXX and XXXX are reporting these accounts incorrectly despite several dispute requests.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with XXXX thru Commenity Bank. When my balance was {$310.00} I initiated a balance from XXXX to my XXXX XXXX credit card. XXXX XXXX initiated the transfer within a fee days. The money was never credited by Commenity so I was still being charged by Commenity and XXXX XXXX. After numerous attempts and minths to fix this problem with Commenity, I requested XXXX XXXX take their money back. Still after XXXX XXXX credited my account I continued to try to work with Commenity to credit my account all late fees and interest to no avail. I finally contacted a lawyer and they won my case by crediting my Commenity account to XXXX.
