Consumer Complaint: I paid off the final amount of XXXX and some change so I could be done with the account. They charged me a {$2.00} interest fee.. and a late fee for the XXXX that they said couldn't be taken out on time even though it came out of my account when they finally decided to take it. So I said whatever, I'll pay it. Tried paying {$20.00}. They didn't take it out on the day I scheduled it, instead waiting several days. I never even got a notice that they tried to withdraw it nor did I get a transaction declined message from my bank, meaning no attempt was made & I was charged a late fee for no reason. My balance went from {$2.00} to {$72.00} AFTER I paid off the account. I've messaged them several times and they just give me a generic response.

Consumer Complaint: Commenity bank has been continuing to harrass me even after making payments. If I miss one day I begin to obtain 10 calls in one day consistantl harassing me with legal. From there after I pay off the minimum they continue to contact me with harrasing statements. Same situation occurs when I make the payments as stated and they contact me to only harrass me attempting to scare me into paying it off. I have begun to ignore there phone calls and I may change my phone number soon due to it.

Consumer Complaint: Victoria Secrets financial institution of choice, Comenity Bank, has reduced my LOC 2x ( LOC reduced XX/XX/2023 from {$630.00} to {$550.00} and in XXXX from {$550.00} to {$400.00} ) within 6 months of each reduction, significantly lowering my score each time. Ive not paid late on the account for at least 2 years, IF EVER AT ALL, for the duration the acct has been opened. Im very concerned that this action is aggressive and excessive in nature, without warrant, and is undoubtedly and adversely affecting my ability to obtain other ccs; appearing unfavorable to other cc companies, causing undo financial harm. This appears to be a trend for this financial establishment as there are countless reviews on several platforms of individuals expressing the same treatment. Its a counterproductive effort because Im paying the card minimum balance monthly and refuse to pay more than minimum considering the egregious treatment. Reducing my LOC to almost near what is owed is increasing my credit usage percentage, thus causing a significant decline of my credit score significantly each time the LOC is reduced. Im curious as to how this benefits either party especially if Im paying at least the minimum balance each month ( creating more interest on my part this benefiting Comenity ).

Consumer Complaint: I called and spoke to a representative at Comenity Capital Bank/Alphaeon Credit on numerous occasions to update my balance to ALL 3 Credit Bureaus , which should be {$0.00}. I paid this credit card account off on XX/XX/2023. This creditor refuses to report my updated {$0.00} balance and as of XX/XX/2023, all 3 credit bureaus are still showing that I have a balance of {$2300.00}. This has caused my credit score to remain stagnant and my utilization percentage to reflect more negatively. This also causes me to not qualify for a fair percentage rate when buying a home or vehicle. This creditor needs to immediately update my balance with ALL 3 credit bureaus to reflect a {$0.00} balance with ALL 3 credit bureaus. I also need this creditor to have ALL 3 bureaus reflect that this account was paid off in XX/XX/2023 and not the date of correction.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/23 : I contacted Comenity Capital Bank to request direct deposit of my {$320.00} earned cash back rewards. Spoke with XXXX. He then conferenced in XXXX, who asked me to verify my cell # so she could send a confirmation text. She then stated " it wouldn't let her send the text '', with no other explanation, and then said the direct deposit could not be performed. I asked her and XXXX to identify how Comenity planned to resolve, since i was able to receive text messages and was, in fact, speaking to them on that phone number. XXXX referred back to XXXX, who said he would consult a supervisor and XXXX left the call. XXXX consulted a supervisor who refused to speak with me, and said he was told I would have to call back on Monday. I said that was not acceptable and I asked to speak with the supervisor. After much back-and-forth, XXXX referred me to a different supervisor, XXXX, who stated there was " information they could not verify '', but he " couldn't tell me what it was. '' I was told I would have to call back Monday and XXXX can resolve it for me then. I believe Comenity is refusing to disperse my earned cash back reward.

Consumer Complaint: Due to pandemic, I entered into settlement ( accommodation ) agreement with XXXX Comenity. ( Comenity Capital Bank ) on XX/XX/2021 with XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX. Account was paid current at the time request for accommodation was made. The debt/balance has been completely paid, however Comenity reported three late payments during the settlement process. According to the Cares Act, the law says creditor must report current paid status and no late payments during the Covid 19 natural disaster or face legal remedies.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank XXXX XXXX aka XXXX XXXX aka Cathrines they said I received merchandise from them and I never received any merchandise from them I filled a police report and sent it to them along with a affidavit from them. And Comenity Bank said I receivec merchandise. I live in a bad area XXXXXXXX XXXX all the time they steal packages and break in cars. The police can't do anything but give you a police report. One week they broke into 21 cars. This is a XXXX XXXX and they always pick on the seniors. I called and told them about it today and spoke with XXXX employer # is XXXX frm Comenity Bank. They are making my credit bad I never paid them for something I didn't order. They reported to the credit bureaus. What can I do and they know I'm a senior of XXXX yrs old and taking advantage of my senior years.
