Consumer Complaint: My total XXXX XXXX bill was due on XX/XX/23 in the amount of {$160.00}. I paid this balance IN FULL on XX/XX/23 the day before it was due. To my knowledge, this account was paid off and I no longer owed any money. Apparently, the next billing cycle, Comenity Bank charged me {$3.00} in interest ( even though the total balance was paid off ) and they continued to charge me interest and late fees for 6 months without my knowledge that there was even a balance. They reported it to the credit bureaus on XXXX even though, again, I was under the impression this account was paid off in full. I never received any phone calls or emails saying that I had late fees or was late on any payments and it was not until I ordered a copy of my credit report that I saw this was on there. I have called Comenity Bank 3 times and no one will help other than telling me to write a letter but I need this taken off of my credit report IMMEDIATELY. I can not believe Comenity Bank has the audacity to ruin my credit over {$3.00} that I was unaware of!

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Capitol Bank card was opened in my name XX/XX/XXXX and maxed out apparently. I called Comenity imidietly some time in mid Novemver to early XX/XX/XXXX, when I received a bill stating that I was one past due and I owed over {$10000.00}. The representative I had spoken to at that time said that they would take care of it and that there would be an investigation. I waited to hear back and there was nothing. I had called in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and in XX/XX/XXXX but there were no updates on this. I received a bill in XXXX of XXXX same thing saying I was past due and now balance was over {$12000.00}. Again I explained the same things as before to each representative that it wasn't mine, I didn't even have a clue about it and how is it okay that people just get bills for something that one isn't theirs and now are required to pay. At this point I had submitted another report for identity theft because I didn't know what else to do. Here I am getting sick physically over this account that I didn't open and now has been charged off and sent to collections. Not only has this effected my physical health and mental health but has also caused issues with my significant other. I have never been late on paying any of my stuff. I had to get a third party company to help me investigation this issue and sure enough someone used my personal information to open this account and a couple others all within the same time. With a address in the state of Indiana. I have never even been.

Consumer Complaint: I have a charge card with Victorias Secret through Comenity Bank. Their online portal was very antiquated and often crashed prior to XXXX XXXX when they made major changes to the site and the VS app. XX/XX/2023 I made a payment via my checking and routing directly from my bank account. The payment didnt go through due to on error on the Comenity site. I called in and paid the debt the same month. I am now being told that the debt was reported as returned and I take issue with that because it was due to the Comenity Bank site not accepting my bank information ; today it still says theres an issue with my account/routing number on the website and Ive paid with the same card/bank account since I was approved for this account. I am now unable to use the card until I pay the debt off completely, which is unfair because the debt was paid and as a CA consumer I was never notified my card was being closed.

Consumer Complaint: As of XX/XX/2023, I had already notified Comenity Capital Bank of a mis-charge with the XXXX credit card account. I spoke with a representative of Comenity Capital named " XXXX ''. I told him that I notified XXXX that I didn't need the XXXX XXXX XXXX treatment because their company didn't honor the service when I purchased a bedroom bureau from them. According to the Service, XXXX was supposed to have a third company deliver my product to my home and place it safety inside where instructed. The delivery service contacted me and told me that they couldn't deliver the bureau to the 2nd floor bedroom in my house due to Covid restrictions and wanted to leave the bureau in my driveway. I told them that was impossible because I couldn't transport something that heavy up the stairs to the 2nd floor rear. No one in my house had/ever had Covid, and everyone in the house was XXXX. They refused and I told them to return the bureau. I contacted the Company for a refund and received a refund for the bureau but not the Service. I asked for a cancellation of the Service but the Company ( XXXX ) wouldn't remove it and kept charging me " late fees '' on a " XXXX '' service for non -payment. I contacted Comenity as stated above and " XXXX '' seemed to understand my problem and apologized repeatedly for the continuing late fees and non-cancellation of the Service. He stated that I would received further communication from the Bank as they researched the problem and that I would receive no more bills for late payment. ( This conversation should be in their database as recorded conversation ). I received a dispute letter from Comenity Capital XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX referring to the previous contact with their representative and it stated to wait until they contacted me at the conclusion of their investigation. I have the original dispute letter which I am going to upload to my credit reporting companies. Since XXXX XXXX XXXX no further communication was received from Comenity Capital just bills from XXXX incorporating higher amounts in late fees for non-payment of the XXXX XXXX XXXX I never received. This situation with XXXX and their banking company, Comenity Capital is causing me severe damage in my credit score ( XXXX down to XXXX ) and prevented me from obtaining a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX due to the low score ( I will also upload the XXXX letter to the credit reporting companies in a dispute ). Please help. All I see is greed, greed, greed on their part destroying a formerly great customer.
