Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Personal information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Just paid off an account with this company. Reapplied and was approved then seemingly denied for an inability to verify my identity ( after submitted a REAL ID - state issued, with current info matching all 3 credit reporting agencies ). The adverse action letter didnt specify what information could not be verified so that it could be corrected which violates FCRA . Furthermore, I had to agree to have my personal information and biometrics provided to XXXX ( a 3rd party verification company ) that would keep this on file for 3 years. I called and spoke to XXXX XXXX who wasnt able to provide me with any information regarding this so that it could be corrected and advised to reapply ( with the same info ) in 30 days perpetuating the existing issue.

Consumer Complaint: This is another case, a follow up for case : XXXX. Comenity Capital Bank responded with : " Your account was previously enrolled in automatic payments with XXXX, via the Customer Portal ( CP ) on XXXX, XXXX, 2022. The payments were initially set up for a fixed payment amount of {$150.00}, later that same day the amount was updated via the CP for the minimum payment due. ' I never updated that amount later to minimum payment, why would I even do this??? There is also no confirmation anywhere that I changed it to minimum payment after I initially set it to {$150.00} ( there was an email confirmation when I set it to {$150.00} ). This company changed it behind my back or their system somehow failed, but I never changed it back by myself, I never even got a confirmation that it was changed to minimum payment- I would at least see that it has changed and would change it back to {$150.00} or at least reach out to DELL. This bank is lying, so they can collect interest, which I do not owe them. This is unfair and disgusting and it seems like you do not even read their responses or you are ok with fraudulent banks. I am attaching a screenshot of the email I received when I changed the payment to {$150.00}. There is no such email with another later change to minimum as this bank claims.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: I paid off my account in full in XXXX of last year. My balance was {$610.00}, I paid the full amount to close. After all this, I was still being charged " interest charges '' on the balance of {$0.00}. I received no communication via email, mail, or phone calls about this. The only reason I found out was an email from XXXX XXXX stating that my credit score dropped significantly. After checking the statements, I found XXXX has been charging interest and late fees on an account that was completely paid off.
