Consumer Complaint: Over the past two days, Comenity Bank has called me 4 times within 60 seconds. They do not leave a message. On one instance, I had answered and told them to only contact me by mail - to which they then hung up on me. They have not respected my request. They are harassing me. The number that keeps calling me is XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The existence of a derogatory rating on my account is causing me significant concern. I am deeply worried about its potential impact on my credit. It has already resulted in the denial of a recent loan application and an increase in the interest rates on my existing credit accounts. I want to emphasize the severe financial and emotional distress that this negative rating has caused me and will continue to cause until it is resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I have asked them to please cease and desist contact as they are calling me up to 10 times a day regarding my past due balance. I have told them on several occasions that my husband has lost his job, and it is down to my income only. I have to choose to feed my family or pay the creditors and my family comes first. I can not have them calling me up to 10 times a day 7 days a week. It interrupts my work and any time I do have to get other things done. I am doing the best I can in this situation and calling me nonstop is not going to make me pay any faster. I have tried explaining it and they say well we can only stop calling for a few days until you give us money. I can't afford to give any money right now as I am barely hanging on and we are close to bankruptcy. I just need the calls to not be so excessive. 1 time a day is way more than enough. I know I owe money. Calling me constantly isn't going to make money appear.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased items on a 24-year free interest promotion from Ikea and charged it to my Comenity Bank/Ikea Projekt card.. Then I purchased more items, but depending on the total new purchase amount, you either qualify for 24 months, 12 months or 6 months free interest. Now, as I am paying down my credit card bills, I always pay more than the minimum and I expected the extra payment to be allocated towards the balance that expires in 6 months - but that is not happening. I called customer service- and guess what- I was told that they used to be able to allocate, but nw they have been TOLD that they can not allocate and the system does it automatically. Well, the system, is not allocating it correctly. I had a minimum payment of {$500.00}, I paid {$700.00} - expecting the extra {$190.00} to be applied toward the 6-month promotional balance, but only {$33.00} was applied towards the 6-month balance- at this rate, I will never pay off the balance in 6 months, which allows them to charge me the standard APR of 21.99 %- which is clearly consumer fraud!!!! I have always paid off my balances well ahead of time to avoid the crazy interest rates that companies charge when the promotion expires!! This is the solution customer service had- which sounds asinine to me - apparently, when there is 60 days left in the promotion period, the system starts applying all extra payments to the promotion expiring in 60 days - so she advised me to put the extra money aside in a different savings account and pay off the balance 60 days before expiration - this is nuts!!

Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/2022 I was making a purchase online at Victoria Secreta and a credit card was offered to me. The purchase was charged to the credit card and I payed only after I got and SMS informed me that, but never got any details about the account. I never got the credit card or any bank statements. After a few months I was informed that I owe Comunity bank some amount for the credit card ( fees ) and pay in full and ask for the account to be closed. But after 2 months or so I got an other call from Comunity bank saying that I owed more money for the credit card I already calcel. Now is affecting my credit score and I still don't get any information so I can pay the amount they say I owe for a credit card I never get or use.

Consumer Complaint: Almost 13 years been a customer at Comenity/Express . Never late, always managed my account superbly. After having a XXXX balance, on XX/XX/13, I made a purchase and that same day Comenity/Express erroneously reduced my credit limit from {$2900.00} to {$100.00}, citing bs from my credit report. I have XXXX lates on my credit report, have managed all my accounts superbly as well. Now, the new credit line is less than 25 % of what my balance is, which will have a negative impact on my credit score because it shows I can not manage my credit. I demand that Comenity/Express restore my credit line back to my original {$2900.00} and send a written apology. This is predatory lending. There needs to be more oversight over these banks that are ruining perfect consumers credits.
