Consumer Complaint: Hi! we have tried to resolve this issue with the conmenity bank over a charge with victoria secret account where it seems like they have created 2 accounts for my wife where only one should be active. However, even if the account was used the balanced was paid in full on XX/XX/2023, Payment in the amount of {$150.00} was made then and they told me that the actual late fee of {$30.00} was going to be credited back to the account as a courtesy one time a year. I said thanks and that we needed this account to be close. However, they never closed the account wanting me to call when some one can speak XXXX where it finally occured today XX/XX/2023, we talked to XXXX and XXXX that initially said his name was XXXX? here in this call, we rephrased the same XX/XX/XXXX chapter about the full payment applying to account one day late and that such late fee in accordance with the operator in the call, was suppossely be dropped, this last thing never ocurred and they keep on accruing late fee charges on the account that it no in use and that we ask and ask to close it. They are sustaining that such credit must be approved before they can apply the credit but it was preciously approved and now they are dennying it! I have talked to XXXX, and other several customer service people where no one seems to be able to help in resolving such confussion? we do not want this account open! we have other account with a Master card on same victoria secret that we are using and as a result of this misunderstanding, we want nothing to do with victoria secret. they sustained off course after the payment has gone thruogh that now they can not credit the late fee back and another month has gone through where now they have put the account to {$62.00} all in late fees base on a late fee that they never removed, Now! how can we allow this company to froce us to pay what we do not owe them? we never make a partial payment we make full payments everytime. Victoria Secret Conmenity Bank regular credit card. Note : They said that they will continuo to accrue late fees on it and that they are not seing such credit back in XX/XX/2023.

Consumer Complaint: I received a credit card that I never applied to, which was issued by Comenity Capital Bank. I called to the customer service at the bank and explained her this situation and requested to cancel the card. However, she asked my several personal information in order to verify me. I informed my name, address and the last four digit of my social. I guess this information may be enough to verify me. However she continuously asked my date of birth. So I refused it because I am so much worry about leaking my personal information because the credit card was issued and the customer service center asked me so detailed personal information. I stopped talking and requesting to cancel my card again. Recently, I also received a credit card issued, which was linked to XXXX XXXX. I also called to the bank and requested to cancel it. It was not complicated and was not asked much delicated personal information.

Consumer Complaint: My payments are mailed on the XXXX or XXXX of the month for a payment due date of the XXXX. They are telling me that seven to ten days is not enough time for my payment to arrive at their facility. They seem to be processing my payment the day after the due date and then charging me a XXXX XXXX dollar late fee every month. I HAVE HAD THIS XXXX credit card for XXXX some years and never had a problem with paying on time. Since this Comenity bank took over there has been problem after problem. It seem they are getting the payment then waiting to process it to generate a late charge. I believe their banking practices need to be looked into. Im working on getting another loan to pay that card off so I no longer have to deal with these people any longer. But if they are doing this to a lot of other people then they could be generating a lot of income besides the money they are already making off the interest. Seems like a scam to me. I could be wrong. Hope some one will look into this. By the way. The payment is leaving XXXX Pa To go to Texas. Which I could drive there and back in four days thats with a ten hour break every day. Consumer Complaint: I applied for the " VISA Travel Advantage '' credit card issued by Comenity Capital Bank on XX/XX/23 because they had great benefits that I would be using, especially the " 3 % '' cash back award for " Travel ''. My family was going to incur a substantial travel trip of over {$11000.00} on XX/XX/23, so the award would be approximately {$340.00} based on the full charge. I made other charges and got the appropriate cash back credits for them, but never got the one for the above trip. I have called many times and every time they either said the system was down, or that it takes 6-8 days from the charge, or to wait one more billing cycle. I then started documenting this in numerous emails to them and again asking about my cash back award for this one charge. I received a bunch of computer bot generated responses again with the 6-8 days ( it is now 9 weeks ) or the system is down, etc. To this date I have not received the {$340.00} cash back award and after seeing there were over 8000 negative reviews in the XXXX website I am very concerned and am filing this complaint in that regard. That is a lot of money to my family and I believe clear fraudulent activity is going on and that they plan on never awarding this money per their credit card agreement with the consumer ( me ). Please assist me with this issue. Thank you very much.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, This is actually a huge complaint. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX card from start to finish has been a horrible practice/experience. The representative didn't use my address, so my card got sent to the wrong place. When I tried to call to get that corrected, they wanted me to verify information, which I did ( lived here, etc ) then they said they needed mail/pay statements/etc to fix the error that their representative made. The store couldn't help me prior to that, so I didn't understand why it was so complicated. I finally escalated and got them to cancel and then they could magically change the address without the further intrusion on excessive needs of my privacy details. I mailed a check on XX/XX/16 and my bank verifies they received it on the XXXX. They haven't cashed it but I did send it. I informed them this on one of their calls that was excessive. They call sometimes every 45 minutes. Use like 10 phone numbers. I mailed in my payment and they have been harassing me. I work overnight, so I don't sleep right, so it's hurting my work. I call today, upset bc I missed 4 calls by XXXX XXXX. The representative yells at me for being upset and calls me names. Threatens to not help me but transfers me to a representative that does help me enough to submit a claim to see if they can take my payment. I XXXX percent trust them to pay on their system. I want to get a lawyer and sue but also don't want the complications. I am very tempted at this point and am resisting the urge. I wanted to at the least, file a complaint, because that was unacceptable.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank has committed fraud and deceptive practices on myself by seducing me to apply for their XXXX XXXX account to bolster their own selfish company metrics, then denying me credit approval by providing a false reason for denial. This was accomplished when i accessed the XXXX 's website for my XXXX XXXX account, and the popup claimed pre-approval for a XXXX credit card. This deceptive practice is illegal and ultimately immoral to the general public and must be addressed by the govern bodies of the USA and Federal regulatory agecies. Denial reasons were stated as follows : 1. Delinquent or derogatory accounts ( of which i have NONE ) XXXX attachment will verify this. 2. No recently opened real estate secured loans ( Never heard of this denial reason for credit card ) but i do have a second mortgage 100 % paid each monthly cycle and up to date in all area 's. 3. Too many Inquiries ( yes now i have an extra one due to comenity bank deceptive practices.
