Consumer Complaint: I paid my Barclay Card total {$2000.00}. They said they did not get but cashed the check. Took several months and i sent copies of front and back of checks. They removed one of the credits then gave me a late payment and account was paid in full. Now the credit bureaus have a 30 day late for XXXX in XX/XX/ which was Barclay error that the fixed. I disputed on credit bureas but still came back i was late. Credit score went down significantly and i was never late. Just disputed again with documents stating i was not late. This needs to be addressed. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I received a notice from an attorney as well as the sheriff today with a summons to court for a credit card I knew absolutely nothing about. It was from XXXX, since then I disputed 2 credit cards my ex husband took out in my name and charged over {$15000.00} and other cards he put me in debt from I went through the national debt relief program. I tried speaking with the credit card company, they couldnt help me, I tried calling the collections dept, they kept hanging up on me, so I just called the credit bureau and they recommended I filed a complaint that I was a victim of fraud.

Consumer Complaint: Barclays bank decreased the credit limit on my Jetblue plus card by {$6100.00} and made my utilization go near 100 %. I have made all payments on time and never had an issue with this bank until now. This has caused my credit score to tank and I have been a reliable customer with this card for over XXXX years. I complained to the XXXX in which they left an office phone number to call and promised a response in XXXX hours, yet they never returned my calls and clearly are pulling some sort of scheme. It is impossible to reach them or receive a resolution to any issues.They are clearly trying to get my card to go over the limit now that I have hardly any available credit left so that they can charge me extra fees.

Consumer Complaint: I received an email related to a XXXX package being delivered to my address. I received the package and found it to be a JetBlue credit card I did not apply for. I checked with the XXXX XXXX and found that JetBlue Barclay Bank did a hard credit inquiry with XXXX on XX/XX/2023. I called JetBlue and they had, not only my name and address, but my social and DOB. I explained the situation to the representative 1 and I inquired about who had authorized a check on my credit and why had I received the card. I was placed on hold for the Fraud unit ; however, after Representative 2 answered, I had to go through the entire explanation again. Representative 2 advised I would need to speak with the Fraud Unit, advising the their office was closed.

Consumer Complaint: Used Priceline Visa # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/2022. Was overcharged on XXXX hotel stay for {$250.00} at XXXX, XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2022. + Was charged a no show fee from Uber when the driver never showed up, & a {$9.00} monthly fee since then, XX/XX/2022 which is outright FRAUD. I've called Barclay 's Bank, # XXXX and XXXX numerous times ; only to get an offshore rep in the XXXX with total miscommunication and Bad Accent. Can not go through this again, I get nowhere with them. Wrote letters 4X since XX/XX/2022. Just got some response saying these have to be reported within 2 statements or nothing can be done??? Very upset, & overwhelmed by this. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a credit card with Banana Republic since XXXX. I have never had an issue with the company until they sold the card services to Barclays. I received a bill for XXXX that stated I owed {$140.00} and that the payment was due XXXX XXXX XXXX. I made a payment on the payment due date. This is reflected in the XXXX XXXX statement provided by Barclays. The XXXX statement also shows a {$0.00} balance. I was shopping the first week of XXXX and tried to use the card and it was declined. I called to inquire about the issue and Barclay 's said that my XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX payment was reversed due to my bank information being incorrect. I had not received an email, call or letter regarding this payment issue. I went online and immediately paid the balance of {$14000.00} using the stored bank account information in the Barclay 's system that I had used to make the same payment in XXXX. I have called Barclay 's three times to try and resolve this matter because they reported this issue to the credit agencies and labeled me as delinquent. This filing led to my credit score dropping XXXX XXXX. Barclay 's explanation that the bank account information was incorrect is not supportable. I have had the same account information stored in their system for over a year and have made numerous payments without issue. Further, they failed to inform me of this error to give me an opportunity to correct the payment that they claim was reversed. I have asked them repeatedly for documentation to show the payment was reversed and they will not provide it. Their representative said they mailed me a letter to notify me, but I never received this letter. I have closed this account as I am not comfortable doing business with this company based upon this incident. My request is for them to rescind the delinquent account notice to the credit reporting agency. I made a payment by the payment date of XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX statement shows a XXXX balance and they failed to notify me of any issue. Without any notice, they filed a report with the credit agencies. I am seeking assistance as their customer service team refuses to offer any resolution or further review.
