Consumer Complaint: I submitted a claim to Barclays Bank about an unauthorized charge of {$600.00}. On XX/XX/ XXXX I received a letter stating that the matter was with a dispute specialist, and it could take up to 45 days to resolve. On XX/XX/XXXX I called to check on the progress of my claim and learned they closed the case citing that I did not answer a phone call from them. I was told to resubmit a letter requesting that the claim be reopened. On XXXX XXXX I mailed a letter requesting they reopen my claim. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to the dispute department, who transferred me to the fraud department who then transferred me back to the dispute department where XXXX assured me that a manager would call me within 48 as they do not have managers on site. I never received a call. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to XXXX in the fraud department who sent my call to XXXX in disputes. XXXX said the manager would call me within 24 hours. Again, I did not receive a call. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to XXXX who said a manager would call me within 48 hours. As of today XX/XX/, I have still not received a phone call from a manager at Barclays Bank nor has the charge been removed from my account. I find their handling of my claim unprofessional and dishonest ; I would like this charge removed and reimbursement for the interest that I have been charged.

I never got a email or bill from them saying the account was closed either. I want the charge off and late fees off of my account since I have no idea about this and not my fault

Consumer Complaint: I received a billing statement showing a charge of {$23.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I then called the credit card company, explained that I would like more information on who submitted this charge. They said they would investigate it and contact me. We talked on the phone a few times, I can't make it any simpler, WHAT COMPANY SUBMITTED THOS CHARGE? They would not answer me, then sent me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX saying they are investigating. Additional phone calls show they don't know what they are doing. I sent a letter to them on XX/XX/XXXX. They would call me, leave messages to call their main number with any questions. I can't keep playing this game. On XX/XX/XXXX they sent me another letter with a bunch of runaround and inaccurate information, saying I have not stated what I would like to do, and suggested that I contact the merchant. I DON'T KNOW WHO THE MERCHANT IS!!!

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to formally dispute unauthorized charges and subsequent fees imposed by Barclays Bank on my credit card account. Despite having paid off my account balance in full, amounting to {$17000.00}, on XX/XX/2023, and receiving confirmation from the company that my account was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' there have been irregularities in subsequent statements that I believe are unjust and require immediate attention. Specifically, after settling my account, Barclays Bank levied a minimal charge of {$0.00} and {$0.00} as a " minimum charge fee. '' This fee was not only inappropriate, given that my account was already cleared, but also seems to have been added illegally. Subsequently, the company imposed late fees on this minor charge for XXXX consecutive billing cycles ( XXXX and XXXX ), which appeared on my XX/XX/2023 statement. These additional charges, including late fees and interest, were not related to XXXX XXXX purchases but were instead linked to the original, unauthorized charge of {$0.00} and {$0.00}. Moreover, in XXXX, an additional fee of {$40.00} was added to my account. This fee appears to stem from the initial wrongful charge of {$0.00} and the subsequent late fees, creating a snowball effect of unwarranted charges on an account that was already confirmed as paid in full. I contend that these charges are not only unfounded but also represent a concerning practice of imposing fees on a XXXX XXXX. I request a thorough investigation into these charges and immediate corrective action, including the reversal of all unauthorized fees and adjustments to my account to reflect its actual XXXX status. Consumer Complaint: i was approved and then they asked for more info to prove my id. i mailed it in. it was my power bill, drivers license, front page of 1040 tax return. they said my address wasnt on the power bill which is impossible, it was. i sent the 1040 from XXXX they said it had to be XXXX then i faxed in the exact same power bill and now they can see the address but said they could see anything on the XXXX i resent the 1040 and they said they never got it. i got confirmation the fax went through, so they did get it. i faxed the 1040 again. this time they got it but said i didnt sign it. after to talking to them before on the phone 3 times they never said it had to be signed. i just got off the phone now they are saying they need the first and second page of the 1040. never have they said this before. it seems there is always something else i have to provide and they never tell me about upfront. it seems like they dont want to give me a card for some reason and hope i will just give up. every time i fax something to have to go to XXXX XXXX and pay for it. why cant i just email it?!

Consumer Complaint: I called Barclays to dispute a charge on my card. The rep told me that he would have to cancel the card. I told him that I did not recognize the name of the vendor and that I needed more information. He refused to give it to me and also refused to reverse the charge unless I cancelled my card. Barclays fraud detection should have picked this up. I was out of the country when the charge was made.
