Consumer Complaint: On XXXX after my lawyer at the time, XXXX XXXX, electronically charged my Bank of America credit card another XXXX in fees, I emailed him to inform him that he could not submit additional fees to that credit card as it was almost at the limit. That transaction had put the balance of the card at XXXX XXXX and the limit on that card was XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX responded affirmatively to my email concern ( see email in attachment ). On dates between XXXX, XXXX proceeded to submit 4 different charges of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on that card and without providing me with invoices prior to those fees being charged on my credit card as per our contract. BOA approved the {XXXX XXXX and that caused me to be about XXXX} OVER my credit limit. BOA did not make ANY attempt to contact me regarding these fees that they approved prior to approving that caused me to be almost over my credit card limit by double! I have NEVER gone over my credit card limit or even close to it. I was a Gold rewards member of BOA and I had always paid my entire balance off at the end of the month, had BOA contacted me or reviewed my personal credit card usage history they would have observed that this was not normal activity for me. I also believe that the services that he claimed were rendered are false, he charged me over XXXX for less than a month of representation. I contacted BOA as soon as I saw those fees on my credit card and initially BOA reversed the charges, however, after BOA spoke with XXXX XXXX, the charges were applied to my credit card again. I also spoke to XXXX regarding this, and he made threats to me and was extremely unprofessional. XXXX also had reassigned my case to one of his newly hired associates, who was completely incompetent. When I attempted to address my concerns about the lack of experience and incompetence level of the associate with XXXX during a court lunch break, he threatened to have his firm withdraw from my case the same afternoon, leaving me to believe that I would have to return to the courtroom without legal counsel. My name is XXXX XXXX, I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX with excellent credit ( prior to this case ) and I have been an upstanding citizen serving my community through my work at the XXXX I would appreciate it if someone can contact me ASAP to let me know if I have reached the appropriate contact ( s ) for assistance with this issue with a very unethical attorney that has done this to previous other clients per the XXXX XXXX XXXX I have spoken to multiple representatives at BOA regarding this matter and their customer service was more than inadequate, some were downright rude to me. When I asked a BOA supervisor how they even approved the charges when doing so would put me severely over my limit, she stated, " Well, he's a lawyer so we assumed he was reputable ''. Consumer Complaint: The title of this misconduct is : Direct Deposit Diversion Fraud. In a nut shell, I gave the XXXX XXXX XXXX my direct deposit form, and the money continues to get diverted once it reaches my real account. And I continue to see my personal deposits. Below is what I recently emailed Law Enforcement : Back in XXXX, I found out I was missing out on checks being mailed to my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At the same time, several people were picking on my body daily. So, I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX and told them I'm not the one cashing a penny. I'm the one going through bone and organ theft due to the fact that I'm not receiving the money. FXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX And XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX. Time went on, nobody called me back and money kept getting stolen. Finally, I decided to email the XXXX XXXX XXXX my direct deposit form by XXXX XXXX XXXX I asked them to please send " all '' that money being disbursed under my social security number, XXXX straight to my personal checking account because I'm still missing out on every penny. Well the disbursement kicked in XXXX XXXX XXXX {$6000.00}, and that's when Direct Deposit Diversion Fraud kicked in. I've missed out on every penny since XXXX of XXXX. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Please have the Bank with XXXX XXXX XXXX recall every penny since XXXX of XXXX. The checks can also get recalled, but I'm filing this complaint on the Direct Deposit Forms. I've reached to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at least three times since the first Diversion Fraud. Consumer Complaint: Dear Bank of America, I am writing this letter to request my account and Bank of America Credit card get re-opened and remain opened and my great relationship with Bank of America to be re-opened and remain opened. Credit cards needing to be re-opened and remain opened : 1. Bank of America Travel Rewards Credit Card XXXX With gratitude, as a loyal Bank of America active member with multiple years of great business with Bank of America, I need my Bank of America credit card account and great relationship with Bank of America to be opened. I have never missed a payment, have always paid in full or even extra than the statement amount, and have been exemplary in this. This is evident by the continuous negative balance as I have always paid my card in full. In the past 3 years or so, I have talked to many representatives who misheard me or gave me wrong information regarding my accounts when I was simply trying to get a new account number as someone was gaining access to my account and me misplacing my wallet. I was told it was an error but still have not gotten my card re-opened yet due to this error. In the midst of all of the confusion, which was also my fault because of miscommunication, it triggered activity on my account leading to someone closing my account in error. I am also not very technologically savvy and have a XXXX. It was a simple request to get new numbers due to someone gaining access to my account and me misplacing my wallet. I had not even gotten the chance to use my card fully which is what I was excited about. Moreover, this is going to hurt my credit score ( as I have a {$17000.00} credit limit on my credit card ) and will overall hurt my credit really badly so I want to avoid this. Moreover, due to this, I am unable to apply for a new credit card which I need for my travel, subscriptions, and medications. I am also traveling soon and will need my credit card. I have talked to countless representatives and associates even going directly to the bank but I have had no luck so far and no one has been able to help me. I am confident that in writing to you, I will get this resolved quickly and smoothly and get my Bank of America credit card re-opened promptly and I am very appreciative of this matter. I have developed an action plan and will do my due diligence moving forward to have optimal security avoid any misplacements or even fraudulent activity. I can assure you, this will never happen again, as I have took the proper measures to secure my accounts and identity. I also placed extra security including security alerts on both my social security card and the credit bureaus. I am also happy to oblige and comply with any further action plans that Bank of America may want to ensure my security for my credit card accounts moving forward including but not limited to any additional security measures you can work with me to ensure my accounts are safe and secure. As I have been, I assure you my credit card accounts will remain secure, satisfactory, safe, and, I assure you, there will be no further miscommunication or misunderstandings as I have now placed all the necessary security measures to avoid this issue happening again. I pledge to put forth great effort to establish a clear relationship and maintain the security of my credit card accounts. I pledge continue to abide by all of the rules, regulations, and policies of Bank of America. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I received a letter stating that a dispute was filed on my behalf and that I would be receiving XXXX. XXXX then when I called to check the status of funds they told me i was not able to get verified over the phone. So I called everyday up until XX/XX/ I called and finally got threw to the right person and they were able to verify me by asking me multiple questions and they said they would expire the check so I would receive it in 10 days I call back today and now they are saying they can't verify me again and will not speak to me .I have been trying to get my money for months now. They have sent me payments in early XXXX and there's was no issue then. I was sent a compensation check for financial harm and there was not an issue then either that was in XXXX. Now there is another issue. I can't take much more of this I am losing my home because of this. My kids didn't have a XXXX because they do not document or communicate correctly

Consumer Complaint: We have XXXX promotional purchases Bank of America XXXX XXXX. We transferred balances to those cards. We were told on XX/XX/XXXX that we should send in {$1600.00}. to pay off the monthly charges and the rest would pay off the promotional amount. Please know that we have used XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX to pay promotional purchases. Our send account was larger and we had saved {$8000.00} to pay it off in XX/XX/XXXX. We called B of A a second time same day. Another representative told us an entirely different story that no matter how much we paid the promotional purchase would only receive the minimum due and the rest of the paymentwould pay off other purchases currently at a much higher interest rate. This contradiction produced a phone call to their manager who did not call us back. This is to us a bait and switch. No other promotional purchase from any company or bank has ever applied money FIRST to the monthly balance due and SECOND to the promotional purchase. It is a clever but unfair. Similar to no surprise billing from hospitals which prevented this type of practices, the B of A policy covertly allows the bank to gain huge amounts of interest ( in our case {$4200.00} ) when the promotional purchase comes due and PREVENTS us from satisfying our original intent. It is deceptive and unfair.

They still have this promotion in this link : https : XXXX I fulfilled all the requirement on XX/XX/2023 but still haven't received the {$200.00} bonus. I subsequently reached out to BOA and they said they would invesitgate and honor the promo bonus. But I still haven't gotten it to this date! This is a scam! Dont trust this bank!!

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to open a secure business credit card, i didn't agree with the terms, they told me it would be two weeks before i get my money back and my rent was due. I was hoping to pay my rent with the credit card, but i needed them to correct the terms. There where a few parts in the agreement that i brought to their attention. Here they are as followed. I dont agree with the Following Paper work summited after my colleterial was taken, SUCCESSOR AND ASSIGNS section which states, You agree that we may at any time assign or transfer to another person your Account, you Account balance, or this Agreement. The persons to we transfer or assign your Account., your Account balance, or this Agreement will have all of our right under this Agreement. You will not assign or transfer, any of your right or duties under this Agreement, and this Agreement is binding on your successors, heirs and legal representatives and upon anyone to whom you assign your assets or who succeeds to them. This is clearly fraud if this company wished to control my company and it's likeness, the agreement would have to be unilateral. My company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has licenses that we issue for this particular situation. I mentioned this once in the case previously filed with the cfpb on XX/XX/2023 against the company Bank Of America Inc Complaint Number XXXX. This company is clearly attempting to commit fraud. And i attend to correct this issue. This is my company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX letting them Bank Of America inc know, that without my signature and company issued licenses, all their Bank Of America Inc agreements are considered relinquished to my Company Trademark and personal name for the attempt to fraud me out of my company. I will be moving forward with activating this credit card, Bank Of America will be extending me a credit limit and line of {$20000.00} unrecoupable. And i will keep full ownership of my company name and likeness, no one shall have the ability to take ownership of the new activated account without written notice from our company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, we agree upon here.
