Consumer Complaint: I had my bank of America, prepaid debit card stolen, along with all my personal effects, on or around XXXX 2020.My identity was stolen and used to steal money, from my account.i contacted bank of America and they froze my account.at that time I was going thru a major hardship, going out of business, but when they froze my account, it put me into official homelessness, I also had a psychotic x-girlfriend and her minions apparently whent on a spree for over a year, somehow using my personal information to drain me .I lost everything and struggled to survive day by day, by the time I was able to get myself on my feet, and even think of anything normal again I checked into my account and saw many thousands were spent so I made a claim with bank of America, and they denied my claim, so I persisted and showed evidence on my behalf and they then saw it in my favor, I was sent approximately XXXX XXXX.a few months passed and I checked on my accountant they told me I had to file another claim to get reimbursed, idid, I was denied again.so I persisted more and they saw the claim in my favor, I was issued {>= $1,000,000}, .apparently my claim was broken into several different claims.i still have 3 more claims ( XXXX ) $ {$8200.00} ( XXXX ) {$8800.00} ( XXXX ) $ XXXX.im tired of getting denied when all these claims should have been resolved in my favor since the first one was turned over.? can you help me get bank of America to stop playing games and causing massive stress when I can't get reimbursed and I have go thru this unnecessary process of having to fight for my claim when the first claims were denied then seen in my favor they are all the same claim and I don't have the time or knowledge of how to deal with this confusing mess ... I need help can I please have you contact boa with a complaint... or will I have get a lawyer and sue.? I don't even want to cause problems but I'm sure they don't deal with homelessness and going hungry if I can't get a resolution I am expecting after my claims get reconsidered in my favor for good reason, I just want fair reimbursement, without having to fight for what has clearly been agreed upon by the bank and i. I have gotten no explanation for why they deny, but I don't need one I guess... I want my life back and my claim can get me back to a place I can live my life and not possibly die on the streets XXXX me thank you... Sincerely bank of America customer.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I entered a Bank of America Branch office to deposit my check. I asked the teller that approved and processed my deposit If the check could be manually verified before deposit so there would be no issues with holds as I am already adhering to the five business day policy that Bank of America requires ; she agreed and verified validity and funds of the check, processed transaction and provided me the receipt attached with the dates that funds would be available. The next day I called the bank of Americas customer service number because upon checking my account, I noticed that the check balance was no longer on hold, but the funds were reversed, so it looked as if I had never deposited the check. After waiting and speaking to 3 different managers, they updated the account to show a pending debit of funds instead of a reversal. They informed me that the check had been placed with an extra hold for an unspecified amount of time, even though the funds had been verified. The collection had begun because the issuing bank " could try and collect it back '' I explained this was a settlement check from another significant bank. Even after being verified, I needed clarification on why this would be an issue and have yet to receive one. I decided to wait until XX/XX/2023, to verify if my partial release of funds was available, and it was not ; on XX/XX/2023, I called Bank of America and spoke to three managers via the Nevada office. They stated I only needed their first names as they are the only ones that work there. The call started with XXXX, who said that there would no longer be a partial release of funds due to the extended hold of the check ; she also verified at my request that the check had been verified and collected, but because this amount had not been deposited in my account before they would need additional time to ensure the check validity. I informed XXXX this was not the first time I had received a large check and that this was discriminatory behavior, and she insisted that it was not ; I then asked why none of this information was provided to me in writing and why I had to call to find out the updates on what was happening with my funds. She stated because these decisions were made at night and there wasn't time to inform me. I noted to her that my receipt from the teller with the release dates and funds availability was the only documentation I had been provided, and by that, they were in breach of their agreement with me at this time for this deposit. She told me she could only offer me a line of credit with them. She asked precisely why I needed the funds immediately ; I informed her I had children to feed, and she suggested I ask a friend for money. I was highly offended and asked to speak to her Manager, XXXX, and for another XXXX minutes, I talked to XXXX, who insisted on the two same options. Get a credit line or borrow money from a friend. After this frustrating and humiliating conversation, I asked to speak to XXXX 's manager and was transferred to XXXX, who stated she would review the account and give me a callback. I received a callback from XXXX at XXXX pm that same day. She proceeded to explain they were not going to release any funds to me and did not provide a reason but offered to give me a {$500.00} counter credit that I would need to go to the atm and pull out immediately before it wasn't available again so that I could use to funds for food for my children. I asked her who came up with that amount and why I was being offered a credit when I had a receipt showing I should have funds available. XXXX explained that was the best she could do, I stated that this was mishandled entirely and I would be submitting a complaint against all 3 of them, and XXXX explained that if I proceeded with a complaint, I would forfeit the XXXX credit. I agreed to forfeit the credit as I should have been given my funds since they breached the agreement with the receipt they provided. I also believe it is unfair to be forced into another consumer product from them ( a line of credit ) to have access to my funds. It is XX/XX/2023, when my total funds should be available, and my account balance is still negative.

It was placed on a hold and on the morning my funds were released my account was frozen. The check was issued via XXXX XXXX me and my client went to a local branch and confirmed everything is fine on their end. Prior to that I called bank of america 's customer service and spoke to 7-8 different agents that couldn't do anything but subliminally accuse me of fraud. They had an reverse mortgage with bank of america, In XX/XX/XXXX the bank try to foreclose on my father stating that they paid the taxes and insurance on the house we prove that my father paid the taxes and insurance so the bank was denied the foreclosure, after my father passed away on XX/XX/XXXX bank of america file for an hearing in state of south carolina XXXX of XXXX common pleas court to foreclose on the house the lawyer for bank of america stated the same about the bank paying the taxes and insurance but the judge stated that it was prove that my father paid them, the the lawyer for bank of america state that the reverse mortgage was in default because my father Pass away that was not a true statement, what happen the due and payable i was supposed to receive and the chance to sell the house by the heirs, the lawyer had my name and address my father added me in XX/XX/XXXX so if needed they could call and talk to me, when i found the summon ine the mail I call and talk to the lawyer for bank of america he could not tell me what exactly was due, the judge stated he does not understand reverse mortgages so he ruled for the bank to sell the house, all the heirs rights was takng from us, I witness on the application when my parents got the loan and the banker told me that the heirs will have a chance to buy it first that is why I sign to witness and that is why i call bank of america lawyer but the heirs right did not matter and if I was to lie in court like the lawyer did i would have been found in contempt of court, I am the PR for the estate.

This check is from a wildfire settlement fund of upwards of XXXX XXXX dollars ... all it takes is 10 minutes by phone to verify my funds..the money is there they r just playing games on me... i need my funds asap i have a kid and we lost all we own in fire we sleep in tent the money needs to be accessable asap so we can get into a house!!

We have faxed to them copies of prior payment with another credit card. They stated that FULL credit card number must be on statement showing payment was made for spa services prior to boarding princess cruise ship. We DID send them statement with FULL credit card number. Agent verified receipt of that fax. Bank of America response is " dispute for {$210.00} denied????????? not sure where {$210.00} came from???? our dispute amount is {$650.00}. repeat of previous claim : We paid for ALL spa services prior to boarding with another credit card. There was to be NO spa charges after boarding cruise ship.

Consumer Complaint: As well as having a Bank of America bank account for many years I also had a Bank of America XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX card for over 15 years. In that time I never missed a payment. In 2020 I decided to pay down that card to XXXX along with several other credit cards. I paid that card to a XXXX balance. Associated with that card was a {$50.00} a year fee. After having paid that credit card off to {$0.00} balance for many months I stopped looking at that account. The {$50.00} fee was levied in XXXX of 2020. I did not make any payments on that levied fee not knowing that he had been added to the {$0.00} balance of the card. I did not use this card for any purchases during this time. I did not become aware of the {$50.00} fee until I was being notified of a 2-month delinquency on the money levied to me as a fee by Bank of America XXXX They reported a delinquency on a very small amount of money that was 100 % a fee levied by them to me on a card that had a XXXX balance. This is after 15 years of never missing a payment and also having a checking account with them. I am seeking to have this delinquency mark on my credit removed but Bank of America will not entertain any goodwill removal. What can I do to have this delinquency, the only one on my credit report which was put there 100 % for a small fee levied once a year by the credit card company which I had neglected to notice after bringing the cadr to a XXXX balance and not having used it for any purchases or anything else for many months, removed?
