Consumer Complaint: Bank of America is in violation of two Federal laws in regards to a charged off credit card : XXXX. The debt is alleged. 15 U.S. Code 1692a ( 5 ) : The term debt means any obligation or alleged obligation of consumer ( me ) to pay money arising out of a transaction in which the money, property, insurance, or services which are the subject of the transaction are primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, whether or not such obligation has been reduced to judgment. XXXX. I don't have liability for the credit card debt. 15 U.S. Code 1692g ( c ) : The failure of consumer ( me ) to dispute the validity of a debt under this section may not be construed by any court as an admission of liability by consumer. In addition, per contract law, credit cards are NOT negotiable instruments, which means they can not be sold or transferred, yet Bank of America did sell/transfer the credit card to multiple debt collectors.

Consumer Complaint: As of XX/XX/2023, I have received no documents from Bank of America with all of the Accounts they opened as me or my business over the last 7 Years. I submitted a request on XX/XX/2023 for this information on the CFPB website. On XX/XX/2023, the CFPB notified me that the " company sent its response directly to you and provided a copy to the CFPB '', however, the documents have never been sent to me by mail or email. The none response to the original CFPB complaint is outrageous and should be investigated by the FBI. I have evidence that multiple accounts were opened by employees at Bank of America and attributed to me that I actually never opened and whereby I do not have signature cards and agreements. This is Bank Fraud. It is highly suspicious that Bank of America Officials provided banking account information directly to the CFPB and the CFPB in turn told me that Bank of America would be sending me this information. It has been over 3 Months later I have received nothing. The phone number provided by Bank of America in CFPB Complaint XXXX listed as ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX is a non-working automated phone number. Please have Bank of America send all Accounts, Statements, Signature Cards, and Agreements open for XXXX XXXX, and my Companies, XXXX XXXX XXXX including XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. There appear to be bank accounts and credit cards associated with me and my companies I have not approved or authorized. This is Bank Fraud, Identity Theft, and a serious financial crime.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to open a checking account with XXXX XXXX and I was denied because of the information in XXXX XXXX I requested and received my early warning report and saw that Bank of America has reported that they closed a checking account I had with Bank of America on XX/XX/ due to checking account fraud which is NOT TRUE. I had a check that was given to me that bounced. That was it! Checks bounce in accounts everyday! It is not CHECKING ACCOUNT FRAUD. I am tempted to sue them for defamation of character. Bank of America has always been a shady bank as seen by the many issues that customers have had with their accounts with Bank of America, for example, XXXX XXXX XXXX And as a XXXX woman for Bank of America to do this is XXXX. They know that there wasn't any checking account fraud! I want this completely removed from my XXXX XXXX account.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to make a deposit at a Bank of America ATM machine located at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Branch. I deposited a computer ( vendor check ) for {$900.00}, a small personal size check for {$400.00} and {$100.00} cash. I have a business checking account, however I am a sole proprietor. The small personal size check was from my own personal checking account that is established with a credit union. The machine did not read the small personal size check for {$400.00}, it did read the computer check for {$900.00} and the {$100.00} cash. I called on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX. A representative said the bank would issue the {$400.00}, they did. In the mail I did get a letter from Bank of America with a claim number. In the meantime the credit union notified me that {$900.00} was taken from my personal checking account. I have copies of the deposited checks - the checks were meshed together. My personal check is in the front and what is seen from the company check ( in the back of personal check ) to the right is amount {$900.00} and top logo and name of company. The bank took {$500.00} more. I have called many times. I spoke with XXXX managers, several bank representatives - it been a few weeks with no contact, mail, to let me know what the hold up is. I just called again on XX/XX/XXXX, the Rep said he would escalate and gave me another case number. I'm leery of anyone at the bank, ( BofA ) I find no one wants to help, I can not get through to someone for help.

Consumer Complaint: An unauthorized charge was posted to my account late XX/XX/2022 by XXXX XXXX XXXX. The hotel did not notify me of the charge ahead of time and when I called the hotel to contest it they assured me the charge would not post. I immediately contacted Bank of America ( BoA ) by messaging via their app to inform them. I contacted them every month between XXXX explaining the concern and received no communication. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX sent me an alert that my BoA credit card was closed. I contacted BoA shocked that after 15 years of on time payments and multiple communications that they would close the account without resolving the dispute. My XXXXredit score is now significantly impacted by the inability to act and resolve this fraudulent charge. Im including attachments to show proof of constant contact with BoA, proof that I paid the full booking and owe no additional taxes/fees, proof that food was paid for my husbands card.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I started receiving emails from Bank of America stating they received my application and my account was approved. I have several accounts with Bank of America and was concerned. I called them immediately and they advised they can not see anything on their end. On XX/XX/2023 I received more emails stating my email address has been changed. I immediately went to a bank branch and they looked up the account and said there was a checking account opened in my name with my social security number, address and the email address was changed from my actual one to a different one. They told me that I needed to contact their fraud department. I contacted their fraud department on XX/XX/2023 and they advised they closed the account due to fraud. I have since been receiving debit cards in the mail and statements ( XX/XX/2023 ) which leads me to believe it hasn't been closed. I want this account closed. I have received nothing from Bank of America indicating it has been closed.

Consumer Complaint: MANIPULATION OF FORECLOSURE AUCTION, FORGED FORECLOSURE PUBLICATIONS AND MALICIOUS OBSTRUCTION OF HOMEOWNER 'S RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS This situation has been a long and exhausting process which originated when the mortgage on the property contained an incorrect legal description. In attempting to foreclose on the property, XXXX XXXX intentionally forged the legal description on the Court documents publicizing the auction instead of reforming the mortgage as it is required to do, by law and which resulted in a grossly inadequate bid price. Further, in an effort to settle the matter, I attempted, on multiple occasions, to satisfy the entire foreclosure judgment. XXXX XXXX refused to accept full payment and instead accepted almost half of the judgment amount from a known collusive bidder in a grossly faulty foreclosure auction. After XXXX XXXX forged Court filed documents to avoid correcting the mortgage, it then maliciously prevented me from satisfying the judgment, retaining the equity in my home, and satisfying the judgment to avoid a completed foreclosure. They also conspired with the auction bidder to prevent my right to due process and hearing of my timely objections to the faulty foreclosure auction. I have raised these issues in a multi-year court battle ; yet XXXX XXXX continues to engage in knowingly malicious bad acts. They have admitted their errors in Court documents, yet they refuse to take corrective actions. It is unacceptable and must be addressed. It has cost me years of my life, tremendous financial distress and the loss of home in spite of my multiple, assertive efforts to satisfy the full judgment.
