Consumer Complaint: I am writing about account number ending in XXXX at Bank of America , N.A . Bank of America has made repeated errors since XXXX. I have made numerous calls to request them to fix the problem, but the problems persisted. I am specifically referring to case # XXXX, case # XXXX, case # XXXX and case # XXXX. On XX/XX/2023, I sent a letter to completely explain the amounts paid and my estimate of their error in the amount of approximately {$540.00}. I had made the following extra payments which should have been applied to the principal : XXXX on XX/XX/2023, XXXX on XX/XX/2023, XXXX on XX/XX/2023, and XXXX on XX/XX/2023 Because they failed to follow my repeated instructions, I sent another letter XX/XX/2023 explaining the following extra payments should be applied to the principal : XXXX on XX/XX/2023, XXXX on XX/XX/2023, XXXX on XX/XX/2023, XXXX on XX/XX/2023, and XXXX on XX/XX/2023 According to their own policy : If you don't contact us or we don't receive written instructions from you, and you attempt to prepay more than one periodic payment, we will apply those payments to the principal balance of the loan. '' Thus they failed to follow their own policy repeatedly. First they should have applied as stated since they received the extra payments without instructions. They failed again after making calls to declare that those payments should have been applied to principal. They have failed to respond to either of my letters. The matter remains unresolved and I need assistance and advise to seek my rights as I feel I have had to spend too much of my valuable time reporting the bank 's errors in violation of their own policies and am concerned what other errors the bank is not handling.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX is showing that I still owe a debt to Bank of America credit, that is incorrect. I did a balance transfer from my XXXX card to pay the total amount of my debt to Bank of America on XX/XX/23 and I have an email and documents attached to prove it. XXXX has not updated this information and it has caused an increase of 7 % on my credit usage by adding the debt I owed and the balance transfer to XXXX card showing I owe total of {$10000.00} and that is incorrect. This is now the second time XXXX has made a mistake on their reporting that has affected my credit and I am filing a complaint to correct this mistake and restore my credit usage to what it was.

Consumer Complaint: I, the consumer and the natural person, was denied credit by Bank of America when I applied for a new Auto loan {$120000.00}. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is pursuant to civil lability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. You are subject to criminally liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I was discriminated against by BANK OF AMERICA INC due to the response I received. BANK OF AMERICA is in the violation of 15 U.S.code 1642.U.S.C 1681m and 12 cfr 1002 because I, the consumer made an application in good faith .but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security number ( credit card ) was used and I received No benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of BANK OF AMERICA

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX there was a ATM withdrawal at a XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$880.00} which was unauthorized. Unfortunately I lost my Bank of America card and I didnt notice until I was going to use my bank card that it was no longer in my possession. I immediately call Bank of America to file a dispute and order a new card for the account. My card order was mailed XX/XX/23 via express shipping estimated to arrive in 3 business days, today is XX/XX/23 I have yet NOT received my Bank of America card. I also called to get an update on my claim and my claim was denied. This makes me very upset because I believe that Bank of America didnt thoroughly investigate the transaction. I have proof that I was working in XXXX, Ca when the transaction for the dispute was processed in an ATM in XXXX, Ca at a XXXX XXXX this is what the representative told me of where it took place. I need to retrieve my funds I have bills to pay and my accounts are negative because I am out that money. I am positive XXXX XXXX has ATM cameras where they can proof I was not conducting the transaction and did not give permission to anyone to use my card.

He has my fake driver 's license and took my social security card. He gave people my social security card, I don't know all the details.

Consumer Complaint: Friday, XX/XX/XXXX - Activated card via telephone with a person. All set. Monday, XX/XX/XXXX - Tried to use card to purchase from XXXX XXXX and card was declined. Problem : Invoice in husband 's name, only my name on card. Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - Called, spoke with an agent he said he " unlocked '' the card and added my husband on the card. All set. Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - Tried to place the order again. Card was declined. Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - called, agent verified my ( 2 ) phone numbers but the ( 2 ) phone numbers were not mine nor ever been mine????? He took my ( 2 ) numbers again and after 20 minutes he said my card was " unlocked ''. All set. Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - Tried to use card to purchase from XXXX XXXX and card was declined. The message from XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX : transaction failed. This transaction has been declined ; SEC Code 175 with account # XXXX XXXX thru XX/XX/28 SEC Code 175. Translation : the SEC Code on the card doesn't go with the Account number on the card. BANK OF AMERICA VISA US and XXXX XXXX International Collect XXXX Is this fraudulent or a scam?

I want to note the following as well : Last Friday afternoon, I noticed a seemingly fraudulent XXXX transfer from my XXXX Bank account to someone with my wife 's name. While the account only had {$1.00} in it, nearly {$500.00} was transferred out, leaving a negative balance of nearly $ ( XXXX ). My wife never received that money, and I never authorized the transfer. XXXX Bank 's fraud unit is still trying to figure out whether it was just a glitch, or whether criminal activity occurred. It would be premature at this point for me to jump to any conclusions. That account is now closed due to suspicion of fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I have two unauthorized charges from a car rental company that were charged to my card several days following an extended rental period. I disputed the two charges ( XXXX was around {$390.00} the other was {$7.00} ) because upon discovering these charges i also found my account with the rental company had been closed without my knowledge, i never received a bill for these charges, and my attempts to contact the company were never returned. I filed the dispute with Bank of America and was not immediately offered a provisional credit. So I waited the obligatory XXXX days and was told I would have an answer the next day. Next day comes and still no answer, only that they had disputed the charge with the companys bank. When I asked if I would be receiving credit I was told the back office had decided it was not an eligible transaction for Regulation XXXX and when I asked why I was given no reasons nor was I allowed to talk with anyone in the back office. Im fairly certain I am entitled to this credit as it was an unauthorized XXXX as defined in the regulation as an electronic fund transfer from a consumer 's account initiated by a person other than the consumer without actual authority to initiate the transfer and from which the consumer receives no benefit. {$400.00} is a lot of money to someone like me who doesnt make much and I think the bank is just being greedy or they just dont give a XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX pm I went to ATM ID XXXX to withdraw XXXX dlls and the ATM registered the transaction but didnt get my money. I called at phone # that atm had registered to report problem with these ATM XXXX. The person in the phone submitted a claim # XXXX and I explained that I need my money urgent because I need to pay my bills and she said that this can take 90 days. I said that I cant wait 90 days. She said will be a put the claim as emergent and 48 hrs I will receive my money on my card. Today I call again because I not receive my money and said that I need to wait 10 business days? This is not my falt, Their ATM is not working correctly. What I need to do?
