Consumer Complaint: Massive check fraud on XXXX XXXX ( XXXX years old during fraud ) by a house keeper ( and friend of the family ). From XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX for about {$61000.00}. Comically bad changing of amounts ( first checks and the sporatic checks ), completely bogus signatures ( a few ) and then pasting copies of signature ( many ) onto stolen checks. The pasting of signatures was completely obvious : ripped edge of the pasted signature on image, signature vertically offset from bottom line ( signature/ '' For '' ), signature at angles from the bottom line, etc. Yet, Bank of America did not detect this fraud for all 100 fraudulent checks. Due to Bank of America " tricked '' an elderly customer into not including check images with the paper statements, these checks were not detected for 2 years. Actions : Reported to XXXX XXXX Police and investigation started ( Fraud Detective came to house ) for " Elder Abuse ( financial ) /Grand Theft ''. Police report number was given to Bank Of America. Reported To Bank Of America : After 3 Months, Bank of America sent Form Letter stating claim was rejected ( Quoting Uniform Commerical Code 4-406 and " Bank of America Deposit Agreement '' ).

Consumer Complaint: Edd unemployment benifits transfer to BOA from XX/XX/XXXX allegedly frozen pending XXXX and Edd identity intergrity verification. Edd Ca released UI benefits for BOA debit card ending XXXX on or about XX/XX/XXXX and again about XX/XX/XXXX, as verified by XXXX, Administrative Hearing Judge, and EDD level 2 for conditional hardship payment..BOA refused to send replacement card, and alleged EDD never forward release of UI payments. I filed 3 complaints with BOA investigation department from XX/XX/XXXX tthrough XX/XX/XXXX. For 14 months of missing Edd UI regular and sick pay and employer all ( 3 ) eligibility determination by EDD. But never received Ui regular unemployment from BOA, ... which created inability to file and certify for ongoing eligibility claim. I received notice from EDD that Debit card would be forwarded from BOA. Boa forwarded Edd debit card ending XXXX that was misplaced during BOA prolonged freezing of account.

Opened an account in my name without my consent that went negative and made me repay 3. Charged me outrages fees for atm overdraft and late fees. 4. Have double charged me for the claims they said they paid but never did {$1900.00} and {$2700.00} for the claims they deducted from me and all the overdraft fees late fees penalties they illegally took from me the XXXX years I've been a consumer with them.

Consumer Complaint: This is my second complaint since my first was closed with the companies response having incorrect information. And since, I have also received a copy of the police report that has been confirmed by the XXXXPD. I have tried to speak to the company over and over. I have filed over 6 different disputes for several different reasons, from BofA telling me I didn't have a claim, even though I had filed one a few days prior. To them telling me that I should file a police report in the very beginning of this ordeal, and since I followed their instructions not one claims specialist has asked me for my police report number, or a copy or anything. This report is affecting me opening any bank account. I thin BofA is completely useless and doesn't help their customers in anyway, even when I did have my account it was always a struggle to do anything. I didn't have the account for very long either and will never join or even recommend Bank of America to anyone.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I visited a XXXX with my dog for an initial visit. They sold me an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX alleging that it would save me money. No terms were disclosed at point of sale. I was given verbal information only and the sales person answered my clarifying question that it could be canceled at any time without any costs in addition to the monthly fee which would end on cancelation. My dog was diagnosed with XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/23 and XXXX repeatedly pushed to do imaging scans. My dog was unable to use any of the listed procedures under the wellness plan while undergoing costly treatment for XXXX. Due to this, I called to cancel since they sold me something he could not make use of. I was told I would have to call an outside number from the actual XXXX location. I called the number and was told they would need to look into it and call me back. They did not call back so I called again to cancel. I waited on hold several times at length and was unable to get through in a reasonable time so had to try again on different days. When I eventually got an agent again, I was finally informed that in order to cancel I would need to pay a hefty $ XXXX {$2000.00} debt I was unaware and uninformed of having incurred. I am still not sure where the amount supposedly came from. XXXX refused to cancel the plan without receiving the amount. I and my boyfriend have continued to receive calls and emails from the vet clinic who I have told for months to stop contacting as I will no longer do business with them after seeing their deceptive and fraudulent business practices. This also violates my consumer rights. I am concerned the vet may have treated my dog in error and he may never have had XXXX, as he showed no symptoms and acted extremely healthy. He put ten pounds on during treatment. I was informed repeatedly that the treatment was life threatening so we really needed imaging. I spent over {$1000.00} in four months only to hear they will not cancel the plan they sold fraudulently and supposedly I owe them 1-2x more. I contacted my card company to protect me from them because they are committing fraud and their response was to send the card company a copy of the terms which were Not disclosed. The card company sent the money to XXXX again to reward them for committing fraud and their unethical business practices which habitually violate consumer laws.

Consumer Complaint: Bank of America XXXX XXXX requested a new credit card with Bank of America to transfer a balance of XXXX to a XXXX interest credit card. I was notified I was only approved for XXXX. I called right away to cancel the request. They did not have my account number yet so i gave my social security number. XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX received a letter my account was closed for suspicious activity. I assumed it was closed and transaction wouldn't happen for XXXX reasons. XXXX the agreement was for XXXX not XXXX. XXXX. I requested the transfer to stop XXXX. I received a letter stating my account was suspended for above said suspicious activity ( none noted btw ) Sometime in XX/XX/2023 I received notice a transfer of XXXX was happening. I called to tell them to stop the transfer as it hadn't happened yet and was told there was nothing I could do. The transfer would happen and I would be charged the {$240.00} fee for transfer. XXXX XXXX filed a complaint and was told by the representative that I would get my money back. I called XXXX to cancel transfer and they didn't do it. I sent in payment for the XXXX and will be closing the card. I should get my transfer fee back. It should have never of happened.
