Consumer Complaint: Recent Dispute Dates : XX/XX/2023 Reason : Dispute XXXX of the credit card that doesn't belong to me. The credit card has due pay for over 150 days. It severely damaged my credit score. Actions I have taken : I filed multiple disputes regarding XXXX of the mis reports of the credit card that doesn't belongs to me. The XXXX told me they did investigation and won't change the record. I also called BofA to help correct it, my XXXX XXXX got back to XXXX in XXXX after I call BofA. But somehow the wrong bad record comes back to my report again, decreased my score to XXXX. It is so obvious that the owner name of the card is not mine, and I double confirmed with BofA that even the XXXX of the card is not mine as well. The XXXX refuse to give out details of how they do the investigation, how they ignore the obvious mistake on the record.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I purchased a " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' from XXXX XXXX with my Bank of America CC. The pass was to be used XXXX XXXX XXXX. Since the start date, the pass has not worked. There are never any flights available or if you are able to book a flight, the fees are so excessive ; its cheaper to book with another airline. I've tried to call, email, message XXXX and there is no one who can or will assist. I also tried to go in person to the XXXX airport, and there is no one at the counter to assist. After exhausting all of my resources ; I contacted BOA submitted a claim which they placed a credit on my account and now XX/XX/XXXX they have added the charge back without any research. I know they have not tried to research or contact XXXX because there is no way to contact XXXX to validate the charge or dispute. Their response was " XXXX stated this is non refundable so we added the charge back ''. I have called bank of america over XXXX to only be placed on hold, transferred around, or simply hung up on, I should not be charged for a product or service which holds no value or can not be used. As a bank and credit provider, they are responsible for researching and following up on claims which they have not. I have an XXXX credit score and this is the only charge on my BOA account. This is the only item I have disputed, and they are not willing to follow up or research my claim. The XXXX website shows over XXXX complaints for the same charge/issue I am disputing.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX advising that I received a letter from Bank of America, dated XX/XX/XXXX, denying a credit application that was filed under my social security number. I never submitted this request so this means someone used my social security number. I was advised that it will take up to 72 hours to process and up to 30 days to complete the investigation. I received a determination 2 hours after I filed my dispute that the hard inquiry will remain on my credit report. This is outrageous. I also filed a report with the FTC.

As I attempt to have a closure on the recent identity theft activities at my expense, I came to the conclusion that a replacement of my current Texas driver 's license ( with a new license number ) is warranted. My local police officer who has been working on my case informed me that there are still cases where my Texas driver 's license is being used with different people 's pictures on it. I talked to the local XXXX people and they told me that in order to apply for a replacement with a new number, I would need a bank letter at which fraudulent activities occurred ( they DO NOT accept police report which surprised me ). Therefore, I came to you for help. I would need a letter from Bank of America stating that a fraudulent auto loan was acquired with my TX driver 's license with a fake picture and signature of course. This document would support my application. Please also include my SSN and TX driver 's license number in the letter. Thank you so much for your help. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- However, I received a call from a representation informing me that Bank of America would not be able to provide such letter. Consumer Complaint: 2nd attempt.. Same complaint. They lied.. they did not to to cotact me. I had one message and called them call that day. They never called or left another message. They also have my email and address. I've never heard from them again. claimed they didn't get it, so XXXX sent it again and BofA finally confirmed via phone they received it on XX/XX/XXXX. During this time after making a complaint on their XXXX page, a spammer tried to hack my account. I called to change the user name and instead they deleted my user id, which conveniently lost all my bill pay history over the 15 years. So I no longer received any messages as they are still doing this on my old user id. I also had bills setup to pay that they didn't pay. Over {$4000.00} in bills. I had no idea they deleted my user id with current bills to be paid until I got a late notice on XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I spent 4 hours on the phone with them and they refused to honor the guarantee for the late payments that I had to go on to individually and pay that day. It's now been 5 months since the payment was sent to the wrong person and almost 5 months since I alerted them and I still have not received my money back for a total of {$640.00}. I'm sure the company is a legitimate company and just waiting for someone to come back and say it wasn't suppose to go to them. I did my own research and found that it's a charitable company that deposits donations through a lock box at XXXXXXXX XXXX. I even called their bank and they were helpful but told me they couldn't do anything that Bank of America was supposed to be representing me and helping me to get my money back. The check was stamped on the back as " Deposit for the benefit of the named payee '' and they held it for 3 weeks which tells me they weren't sure where to credit it. Bank of America has had this information since early XXXX, so they knew that it went to the wrong company, but continued to make me wait. During my 50 plus calls, I was transferred dozens of times, thrown back into the que on purpose and hung up on. I have been with Bank of America over 23 years and finally decided to remove all my money to a new bank. I'm having to keep a {$1500.00} balance there in order to keep from having a service fee monthly until I get my money back. After I complained about them not doing anything and demanded a provisional credit so that I could pay my card off and quite accruing interest on something I tried to pay off that XXXX, they gave it to me 2 months later and 30 days after that they took it back, causing my balance to fall below the minimum balance and charged a fee for that as well. This whole process has cost me a LOT of time and money and I still have no resolution. I started the whole process by alerting them nearly 5 months ago. This is unethical and a terrible way to do business. I just want to get my {$640.00} back and be done with this institution. Thank you in advance for your help.

Consumer Complaint: This is a follow up to the complaint I filled with CFPB on XXXX complaint XXXX XXXX, I was contacted by BOA Resolution Specialist, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX BOA modification department requested additional information which I have timely submitted and they are in a satisfactory standing by BOA, however, BOA is coming back asking for additional new information that are totally unrelated to the my loan mortgage modification such as for example, I have to prove that my wife is living with me in the same house? Unbelievable request, yet I did provide the additional information to verify that, I have also submitted more financial information over and above what they asked for, which is satisfactory to BOA Yet I am still getting phone call messages form BOA for additional, frivolous, demeaning, intimidating and insulting information that are being fabricated to induce delay. I have written a detail letter to XXXX XXXX that I am enclosing with my complaint f.or your review At this point, it is very clear to me that BOA is delaying the inevitable modification by keep increasing my loan amount and pressure me into accepting a marginal modification offer that I will have to accept in order to stop the clock, again, a predatory tactic. BOA keep asking for more and more totally irrelevant information and documentation that are unrelated to my loan modification, in the meantime my forbearance amount keep adding up with the higher and not modified monthly payment eating up my equity and increasing my loan.
