Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, waiting for my flight to board, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Well, while waiting, I decided to pay XXXX XXXX XXXX for an Add-On called International Roaming for {$35.00} before tax. When I paid it, a total of {$37.00} and change was charged to my Bank of America debit card ending in XXXX. A confirmation number was then given to me, XXXX. When I arrived to my destination, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX. XXXX, the service did not work. So, I dialed ( XXXX ) XXXX from my XXXX 's cell phone XXXX, and tried to resolve this problem with XXXX. This conversation took place around XXXX XXXX XXXX. At the very end, XXXX said I'm entitled to a refund because the service is not available in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I don't believe the service is not available. I just think somebody else had my real cell phone. Either way, I'm submitting this complaint to recover {$37.00}. Please have my personal checking account credited {$37.00}. The XXXX Roaming NEVER worked from my handset. I'm currently using my XXXX 's private WiFi to submit this complaint. Again, please have that transaction returned. XXXX said that it's highly refundable. Thank You, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2015 the XXXX of XXXX NM cleared the deed, after the City received a letter claiming the lender can not and will not foreclose on the property. The City sold the property in a municipality sale to an auction buyer and issued a quit claim deed transferring ownership from the City to the auction buyer who recorded ownership. The auction buyer sold the property to me XX/XX/2015 by quit claim deed transferring the ownership from the auction buyer to me, which I recorded XX/XX/2015. A party claiming to be Bank of America as successor in interest, reopened the City case and entered Bank of America. Bank of America denies having any record of ownership and issued an email stating the loan is " not Bank of America ''. Bank of America refuses to release the recorded ownership stating they have no record of the loan. The party claiming to be legal counsel hired by Bank of America has pursued a writ of assistance and is having me forcibly removed from the property.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I closed my checking account with Bank Of America back in XXXX of 2023. I had a balance amount of ~ {$1300.00}. The bank personnel confirmed me on a phone call and my XXXX account that the bank will post me the checques for my pending amount to my XXXX address. They confirmed me the address, and also said that they have posted the checques. But I never received the checques for my pending amount. When I asked for tracking details, they said that they do not provide the tracking details. When I followed up after a month upon not receiving the checques, they admitted that there could be an error from the Bank End and confirmed me that they posted a 'new ' check. The above issue happened three times so far, and every time the bank wants me to just keep on calling them to get my funds back. But they are not willing to guarantee any other means to send my pending funds back. I sincerely request a legal action against BOFA for such a negligence for past 7 months now. The worst is they are not willing to share any alternate route to send my money back. regards, XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: This incident came about XX/XX/XXXX when I called to report my card stolen and to see why my account was closed by XXXX XXXX XXXX. They said it was closed due to checking account fraud. I denied these allegations due to this being my main bank account where I would pay all of my bills with this account, and I had a long lasting relationship with this bank since I opened my accounts in XXXX. I opened a dispute and they sent me a copy of a fraudulent check with a signature that clearly looks fraudulent and does not match any of my hand writing or signature which they do have on file from me opening my account in side of the bank from XXXX. I then asked for this matter to be investigated further checking security cameras and pulling XXXX addresses to verify that this was NOT me making these fraudulent transactions in which it has not been done and this is now reporting on my credit report with XXXX XXXX XXXX hurting my chances of opening a bank account.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I experienced identity theft as my vehicle was broken into and my purse and other personal possessions were stolen. It wasnt until XX/XX/XXXX that I had been notified that my bank account with Bank of America had been frozen due to fraud. When the incident happened I closed all credit cards and requested existing bank accounts to issue new cards that I had. Bank of America has listed my account as XXXX and when provided with all the documentation they stated that I could not go through them I had to go through XXXX to have the fraud removed. Because of the XXXX charge. This has been an ongoing battle as my identity has been compromised and now an entire year later of fighting this matter XXXX still unable to get a bank account. If it wasnt for having XXXX already for my business I would be stuck. I have tried fighting this with XXXX and each time they indicate that Bank of America is keeping the status. This is not only unfair but I have never been in a position to where any of my accounts have been flagged as potential fraud. I need help this has been a huge issue for me due to this matter not being handled. The credit Breuers have worked with me they placed all my credit reports on extended fraud, my credit card companies were able to freeze any transactions, however this XXXX particular bank has made it extremely difficult to get anywhere with this. I even went as far as saying I would pay for a charge that was not mine so that I could have this information removed they would even declined that. Please can someone look into this matter as this is going on farther than it should and I just need the right information or person to help me along with this process. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: I applied for an auto loan in private and in good faith, and I was denied. I sent a letter to Bank Of America to resolve the issue but they ignored my efforts. I have exercised my God-given right to extend my credit and that has been violated. Also, there is an inquiry on my consumer report, which is proof of a credit consumer transaction that took place. That transaction did not include me, because that was a transaction between Bank Of America and the consumer reporting agencies. That is fraudulent activity. I have never given explicit verbal or written permission for Bank of America to report on my consumer report. With that explained, my right to privacy has been violated as well. The loan denial is proof of discrimination, and the only resolution is for Bank of America to open my credit account for my auto loan and compensate me for violating my rights and causing me emotional distress.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed about {$2100.00} in authorized charges come out of my business account. I called the company, and listed each unauthorized charge mostly XXXX charges that were unauthorized. I was told within 24hrs I would receive contact and they said they would send me another card. The new card came, I activated the card, but noticed that my money was never credited back to my account. XX/XX/XXXX I noticed a {$450.00} charge that was unauthorized and they said they would expedite another card. But when I questioned them about the staus of my provisional credit, they said it wasn't processed and they could submit a hardship, I was FURIOUS! They couldn't give me any answers and panned it off to some nameless faceless department that seemed like they were beyond getting any explanation, meanwhile that is my business account and now I will be short payroll. So not my total loss is over {$2500.00}, now I am told it will be 24-48 hrs for me to here of a " Decision '' for them to give me back my own money that was taken and got passed their security.

Consumer Complaint: I called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/202 I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2023 to get my free monthly clean up and check up in accordance with my XXXX XXXX XXXX telephone call with XXXX XXXX. I spoke with XXXX and XXXX. XXXX advised that the " Warranty '' is not from XXXX XXXX. It is a scam. Because my XXXX and XXXX would not print from my XXXX XXXX printer. I was advised by a XXXX XXXX at XXXX that there was nothing wrong with my printer. He advised that my XXXX warranty is expiring -that I needed a new warranty. I paid XXXX {$540.00} for computer/printer/email/document security, unlimited technical support, monthly clean up, personal tech help, 2 years technical and software support. When I called XXXX on XX/XX/2023 for printer assistance I was advised by someone named XXXX at the legitimate XXXX that this was a scam. I reported the scam to Bank of America 's Fraud Department. on XX/XX/2023. Although Bank of America went through a process to attempt to recover my funds they were unsuccessful per their XX/XX/XXXX email to me. Therefore, I will not be receiving my scammed {$540.00} refund from Bank of America. I am therefore asking the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for help in receiving my scammed funds.
