Consumer Complaint: XXXX and the Department of Education are making it impossible for me lead & grow my corporation as the founder and CEO, of a SBA 8 ( a ) registered company. The company was just denied a business line of credit and credit card by Bank of America stating the reasons as delinquent student loans and limited credit profile. I paid the student loans to a {$0.00} balance and did not wait for the government to give me a free hand out forgiveness loan. I worked 365 days straight with no days off to save up to pay off the entire loan balance. Almost 5 years later, the Department of Education is tarnishing my personal character by listing erroneous information that doesnt accurately reflect my character. The Department of Education is listing my accounts as delinquent when I paid them to a {$0.00} balance. This is a clear case of discrimination in lending and a clear violation of my rights under the FCRA. How dare the Bank of America representative criticize my ability to repay one credit card with a $ XXXX balance. Yes, I have repaid my one, open installment account to a XXXX balance every month since XX/XX/2023. At the age of XXXX and still leading an active/in good standing corporation for the last seven years in business, Id say we are an ideal business to receive funding from a traditional lender. But at this point its clear to me that the real reason for being denied a business line of credit for an established corporation with no derogatory reporting and an owner with good credit is only because of my race as a XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, I sent in a factual dispute letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX after looking over credit reports I ordered on XX/XX/XXXX to let them know that my account has always been missing the estimated date of removal. I also sent one to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I have attached those documents below. 4 days later I emailed a letter to the CEO XXXX XXXX and explicitly stated that I'd just mailed out letters of disputes to the bureaus for this account because they didn't add an estimated date of removal for the account and I wanted to know why. The dreaded XXXX ( one of their senior account specialists ) contacted me back and told me my reports would be updated to reflect the estimated removal date. This never happened. I sent a 2nd round of factual dispute letters to XXXX and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX & XXXX asking that they delete the Bank of America tradelines off my reports entirely because they'd failed to run a proper investigation or provide proof of my estimated date of removal as I'd asked. They kept sending it back as accurate without any proof of said accuracy. No one should ever have to go through all this to have these entities that have our financial lives in their hands do what they're required BY LAW to do. So in XX/XX/XXXX I realized that even though this was supposed to fall off in XXXX it was still on my report and I emailed Bank of America 's CEO again about it except this time I was XXXX. I attached screenshots to them of my credit reports that had always reflected XX/XX/XXXX as my date of first delinquency and I've also attached those documents to this complaint. I told them I would report them if they didn't remove the account from my reports. XXXX is the person who called me to follow up but we never spoke and kept playing phone tag then I received a letter from her in the mail stating that nothing would be removed because they are reporting accurately when they're NOT. If they report so accurately, why have my reports always shown date of first delinquency as XX/XX/XXXX? Why does my XXXX report CURRENTLY state that my account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX? If my date of first delinquency was XX/XX/XXXX then how was it closed in XX/XX/XXXX? What kind of geniuses are employed over there?

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX we received our Escrow Account Summary. It showed our insurance and tax disbursements were doubled. Our monthly payment went from {$1200.00} to {$1400.00}. Just a side note : We have also been paying more towards our mortgage and we are now one year ahead on our payments. We have tried to find out why our escrow and payments are increasing and no one can give us an explanation. For example : Our insurance is {$990.00} yr and our taxes are {$5100.00}. But, when we see our Escrow disbursement history summary, its doubled. Insurance Last year 's projected disbursements are {$900.00} Last year 's actual disbursements are {$1900.00} Taxes Last year 's projected disbursements are {$4600.00} Last year 's actual disbursements are {$12000.00} Total disbursements from escrow Last year 's projected disbursements are {$5500.00} Last year 's actual disbursements are {$12000.00} We also received an Escrow Account Disclosure Statement telling us that the total monthly payment is changing starting XX/XX/XXXX and there is a ( XXXX ) -month escrow shortage. This does not seem legal and no one can explain in detail why after we are XXXX year ahead of payments, our mortgage payment and escrow has increased so much. Its like we are being discriminated against for making extra payments. Something is definitely wrong with this. We have contacted the branch, corporate and the mortgage department with no help whatsoever. We can not even go to a branch to help us because no one handles mortgages. They can not even provide us with a mortgage representative for an in person in-depth conversation to resolve this or provide explanation or advice.
