Consumer Complaint: I went online land locked my card on XX/XX/2021 as I always do when Im not using it later that day I went to unlock it I couldnt log in saying my password was incorrect then the website kept saying its experiencing technical difficulties I spoke to a representative who told me she didnt know why my account was locked and I told her it wasnt locked because I didnt get an email she said I did again I didnt she then said shed send it over for review and it will be two business days so I get an email at XXXX telling me my account is permanently suspended due to me receiving a direct deposit not in my name? Mind you the only deposit I get is my stimulus check which Ive been a customer for the last 5 years and this is the second time they closed my account the first time is because my last name is XXXX XXXX XXXX under my employer and my account states XXXX XXXX however name address social security all is the same?? For 5 years these people are the worst I speak to 5 different people then ask them are my funds secure? They tell me they dont know? However the first XXXX this happened I spoke to someone who could tell me and not only tell me but got it resolved and my account back open before the letter I sent them probably even arrived then they tell me to call XXXX XXXX at XXXX @ XXXX as if she is bluebird company? I need my money my last two stimulus checks came to this same account with no problem just like my last direct deposits for 5 years was being deposited so they just give you the run around close your account then their website is down its all over the internet and its happening to everybody I stopped my employer deposits from this account once I get my money back this time Im completely done with bluebird forever

Consumer Complaint: I requested a new card from American Express because my old card was suspected to have been breached. When they sent me my new card, they sent a the new card number to creditors who have automatic payments taken each month. In the process, they sent the new card number out companies that I did not have automatic payment withdrawn each month. Therefore, the card was placed in the payment section of accounts that I have no relationship with. My card information is all over the place. A charge from XXXX showed up, which I did not make. The contact number on the statement supposedly a XXXX number is a non-working number. As well, American Express place the new card in a XXXX account where all financial information had been removed because the account has been hacked and now I can no longer get into the XXXX account. The XXXX story is another saga in another complaint.

Consumer Complaint: Last XXXX or XXXX I was browsing through the Offers list for my American Express card and saw an offer for a XXXX music subscription deal where you would get a {$9.00} account credit for a {$9.00} XXXX purchase. I activated the offer and clicked the link. They asked for and required my XXXX account information for the subscription and I made the {$9.00} XXXX purchase. On XX/XX/XXXX my AmEx card was charged {$10.00}, which is the {$9.00} plus tax. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX because the credit had not been made to my account. I disputed the charge because I had not received the account credit as clearly promised in the offer specifications. They denied the dispute. I contacted their customer support service via chat on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX complaining about the false advertising nature of this offer. They offered to investigate and said that I should check back with them or look for an account credit. It never came. This charge is being disputed be cause it is the sole reason why I signed up for XXXX and I clicked their link and followed the instructions. They are trying to find every excuse to not execute this offer as promised and I am NOT AMUSED! I have complained twice to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and they have given the same run around. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and shocked at how this company has treated me about an otherwise trivial issue where their advertisement was clearly misleading. The only thing you can buy on XXXX is a monthly service subscription charge!!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: I am responding to the company 's response to complaint XXXX. I disagree with the company 's response. They denied that any of my rights were violated and that is incorrect per 15 USC 1692e. If it is a debt that is owed like they " alleged '' all charges I owed should be shown in the negative per the LAW. Per my credit reports and the statements sent from the company the alleged debt is shown in the positive. If it is a debt and it is owed it should be shown in the negative. I have sent an Affidavit of Truth to the company in which they did not respond in the correct matter so per the law the debt should be removed from all of my credit reports and from their system. I also followed up with a Notice of Default and Opportunity to Cure on XX/XX/XXXX giving the company 10 days to respond and resolve the issue but have not received a response. Per the company 's response they admitted to placing the account with XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. ( which a law firm ) to further collect debt from me. Per 15 USC 1692e ( 3 ), a debt collector can not be an attorney, so if I was being sued by a debt collector an attorney should not be present. Although they did not garnish my wages, they did seize my bank account for a certain and took the money that was in the account.

Consumer Complaint: To begin, I have been a customer since XXXX, never any issues! However, an email was sent to me on XX/XX/XXXX regarding my blue bird american express debit card account. Below you will find the email notification which states : Hi, During our recent review of your Bluebird Prepaid Debit Account, we identified Account activity that we believe violates the terms of the Bluebird Member Agreement. As a result of such activity, and pursuant to Section 22 ( d ) of the Bluebird Member Agreement, your Account and your Account privileges have been permanently suspended. If you have any questions or would like to inquire further, you may write to us at the following address : Bluebird Customer Care XXXX. Box XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX Thanks, The Bluebird Team I attempted to call the company but was unable to reach them by phone. All the money I have to pay bills are in this account in which I can no longer login and manage. My bills are due and they have suspended my account. I just read that I am not the only person who are experiencing this issue with them. I need my funds from this account ASAP. Please help in any way you can to recover my funds! There are several XXXX dollars in the account from my federal imcome tax and unemployment. I desperately need this money and now it has basically vanished and the customer service rep I spoke to told me they couldnt give me any information and that they can legally keep my remaining money. Its outright theft.

I was not able to log in to my account either. I was finally able to reach them by phone and was told my account was under review. Next day got an e-mail that my account was suspended and I have no way to get my money from the card over {$6000.00} I can not withdraw, purchase or anything and they will not help me the only phone numbers they give just ring and can not leave a voicemail. My paycheck is also deposited to this card.
