Consumer Complaint: I have been targeted by some people they touch my app often over nine years now, I applied XXXX amex card last year or two years ago, last year through I spent and I have paid even I set to pay automatically, this people I feel like young bilingual and my origin is XXXX and somehow could be related to XXXX I guess, I am writing about my sense but often it is true. Anyway, I set auto pay, I often saw emails asking me to pay twice or third time in a month through last year. First I set to pay automatically even amount of spending was not much. Then I saw asking pay three or four times in some months, I went to app, auto pay was not set. It was not mistake but somebody touched the app. Next thing, I set auto pay and I paid, but after I paid twice asking me in a month, payment date somebody set but not by me. I was tweeting, actually those people touch my app and blogs and tweets over nine years after they were found as data frauds in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX team 2013. Then, it has been happening like that. Even XXXX account was touched by them when we were in need. Recently I had XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX cause a problem I treated me using deep skin moisturizer. It is not funny. Anyway, this is a problem it has been touched by someone, last thing,! ay XXXX, I paid to a, ex XXXX dollars, soon the payment was retuned without no reason then this XXXX Amex charged return fee to account XXXX dollars, this XXXX minimum payment tuned to be over thousands, it is fraud what the app workers do long years to my account. Is this fun? And I have been done by those people over nine years. As I am XXXX, I know some XXXX are very bad in XXXX, there are frauds a lot, when we can pay somehow, they have been doing might be fun to do this kind of bad behaviors over nine years but they are real data frauds, they make up reasons much often, so my claim it has been neglected and ignored I think. Recently my husband was called by even frauds.I cutout though. Shroud those all, they will see what they did thing caused their serious problem. It could be natural sanctions it could be something else. Sorry about those very dishonest people. Apparently this kind of bad thing they wanted ask me over thousands rather than XXXX dollars in one time payment, Look at that dirty bad workers are they operated USA or XXXX? Why targeting me? XXXX owns Amex or XXXX problem? What else? At least, XXXX XXXX and some other people have been targeting me since 2013, also this apps are on XXXX all. How long do I have to be done by those very bad people? Who could stop them?

Consumer Complaint: I have an American Express account showing on my credit report. This has been on my XXXX Report since XXXX. I have since disputed this with BOTH companies. In XXXX, I filed a complaint with American Express and they told me that they have removed this incorrect information from their end. However, this still persisted to appear on my XXXX credit report. I filed another dispute with XXXX ( have done it twice now ) and the results always come back suggesting that it is indeed my account. I have NEVER held an American Express card or account ever in my life so I am not sure why this is appearing on my account in the first place. I called American Express again ( XX/XX/XXXX ) trying to check why are they confirming XXXX that I have an account with them. They ran my social security, my address, and my name and told me that they have nothing associated with that name, address, or social. I am not sure what to do.

Consumer Complaint: I was scammed on Saturday, XX/XX/2021. I immediately reported to American Express that my card from them had been compromised and to stop all charges made that day. I called the police department and filed a report with them on th same day. I called and gave the police report number to American Express and they then told me that I would have to wait on them to investigate. I never heard back from them. I proceeded then to write a letter to them and sent it to 3 different American Express offices. The first was sent to American Express, XXXX. XXXX # XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. The second to American Express Sr. Acct. Exec. American Express XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, New York, XXXX XXXX XXXX. And a third to American Express XXXX XXXX. XXXX # XXXX, XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX. I sent these three letters on the same day Tuesday, XX/XX/2021. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from American Express stating that the {$400.00} unauthorized charges where credited to my account. Then on Monday, XX/XX/2021 I received a second letter saying to disregard the previous letter on my fraud dispute. My complaint is that it is not fair to say that they would credit my account the unauthorized charges and then turn and renege on what they said they would do. Attached are all documentation.

Consumer Complaint: I have a fraud alert on my credit report that requires companies in which I apply for credit of any kind to first contact me to ensure it is me applying before running my credit and applying a hard inquiry to my credit report. Today American Express did not do this. I was expecting a phone call so that I could ascertain the validity of the pre-qualified offer I received and then discuss with the person verifying my identity my options before fully applying for the card. This did not happen and I just verified with XXXX that it should have.

Consumer Complaint: I signed up for what I thought was a credit card with American Express. Nowhere in the advertisement did they make it clear that it was going to be a charge account that does not have a limit. I was intending to sign up for a card that had a limit so the increased limit would positively impact my credit score. Upon realizing I signed up for the wrong type of card I talked to customer service to cancel the account and remove the inquiry. They said no so I worked through the XXXX. I just got off of the phone with their executive office, and they refused to fix the situation as well. They are even refusing to cancel the card keeping it open after I have repeatedly asked to cancel it.

Consumer Complaint: Amex, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, my renewal fee was {$95.00}. In XXXX of XXXX, Amex discriminated against me by placing a preset limit of {$2000.00} on my account, which I rarely use, after my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account was defrauded/depleted through XXXX, and while XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was defrauding me for erroneous insurance fees. In XX/XX/XXXX, my renewal fee was {$95.00}. In XX/XX/XXXX, per Amexs predatory revenue creation attempts during the XXXX pandemic, my Amex renewal fee jumped to {$150.00} on my account with a preset limit of {$2000.00}, which I rarely use. In XX/XX/XXXX, I reported two unapproved transactions, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX, and Amex wanted me to obligate my time to resolve the grievances, while Amex charged me late fees on the unapproved transactions, rather than Amex acknowledge the fact that Amex increased my renewal fee for Amex to direct me to resolve my own grievances as if I were an Amex employee. XXXX resolved the unapproved transaction, whereas I had to report the Amex-XXXX grievance to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) ( XXXX ), and I was awarded the sum of the unapproved transaction. In XX/XX/XXXX, Amex sent me a paper check for the remaining sum of the credit award, at which time I expressed to the Amex chat representative to return the stolen funds to my account, or close my account, and neither happened. XX/XX/XXXX, months after I directed the Amex chat representative to close my account, Amex charged me a renewal fee of {$150.00}. Amex continues charging me an inflated renewal fee on my account that I rarely used, and which carries Amexs discriminatory preset spending limit. I had to report Amex to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) over erroneous charges and interest fees. Amex returned the erroneous fees to my account. Amex removed the funds from my account to send me a paper check. I told Amex to return the stolen funds to the account or close the account. Amex failed to return the funds or close the account. Every time Amex creates one of these problems for me, Amex costs me more than the sum by obligating my time, as I stated to the Amex chat representative. Amex, close my account, because I have no need for overpriced Amex renewal fees on Amex preset spending limits. I will not be paying Amexs {$150.00} renewal fee or any associated late fees as my account was to have been closed in XX/XX/XXXX per my direction to the Amex chat representative. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I opened American Express XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX card in XXXX. Since then, I clearly met the minimum spending requirement well ahead of the 90 day period ( {$3000.00} ) and have spent {$200.00} at home furnishing stores. The advertised promotional sign up bonus was XXXX XXXX XXXX + {$200.00} credit back for the purchase I made at XXXX XXXX. The agent confirmed that I am eligible to receive the offer when I inquire the timing of the offer, but later changed their stance stating that I was never eligible for the offer and stated that I consented to it. Which is not the case. I opened up an investigation and received another, yet same result that I was never eligible to received the offer on XX/XX/2021, again which I never consented to and the agent was able to confirm it at one point. Fraudulent practice.

Consumer Complaint: My savings account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was charged on XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$38.00}, XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$38.00} and XX/XX/XXXX for another {$38.00}. I was again charged XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX for {$38.00} each. I wasnt charged again until XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX again each for the amount of {$38.00} to an Amex epayment account. I do not have an Amex account or have ever applied for an American Express card. I have contacted both my bank and Amex. Amex has repeatedly told me that there is no account under my name or social security and therefore can do nothing for me. They insist that it is my bank that needs to further investigate the case. When I call my bank they repeatedly tell me that Amex should be able to look into it since the account is with them. My bank has been helpful in setting me up with a new account. I would really like to know where this charge has come from and where my money is going to and if possible to retrieve the money Ive lost.

Consumer Complaint: American Express upgraded my card from Gold to Platinum which gives me a spending limit of {$30000.00}. Since my credit history was perfect and I never missed a payment, I was offered credit with a higher rate. So I decided to make a purchase and use the card, I even called them before making a purchase and I was told and verified that it's okay and I can use it for my purchase. However, credit is denied but not given a reason why and was refused credit even though I'm qualified for it. They disabled my Platinum card and I was told that my spend limit was downgraded from {$30000.00} to {$7000.00}. Called them but they discriminated me, I was treated differently on the phone as they were having a hard time pronouncing my name. Afterwhich they sent me an email downgrading all my other credit cards. I have a {$12000.00} spend limit which they downgraded to {$4600.00} and the other card was downgraded from {$12000.00} flexible to {$15000.00} down to {$6000.00}. ( will attach the emails ) It is very unfair that all my other cards were downgraded when they were the ones who purposely upgraded my card and there is no basis for the downgrade. It was clearly credit discrimination because of my name.
