Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020 I placed a deposit for a motorcycle rental in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Due to continued COVID travel restrictions, I have been unable to travel to XXXX XXXX since making the purchase. When I contacted American Express, I was told that I should attempt to first deal directly with the merchant. After months of negotiation, the merchant remains unwilling to provide a refund, and given the travel restrictions imposed on XXXX XXXX by the U.S. government and XXXX XXXX government I haven't been able to travel to XXXX XXXX. I will unable to ever use this motorcycle rental deposit at this point however, American Express is now unable to provide a refund because more than 60 days have elapsed since the purchase was made.

Consumer Complaint: American Express sent me a replacement card for a card that was damaged via XXXX at my request. The card was marked as delivered by XXXX but did not arrive. I called American Express customer service, who told me I could request another card, but they would have to cancel my existing card number. A replacement Card would either need to take 7 business days via USPS or be sent by XXXX again. Since XXXX is unable to deliver my card I am uncomfortable giving them the replacement card as well, and asked for another courier to send my second replacement card. I was told those are my two options.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX, I had a negative statement balance due to me overpaying. I requested to get a check mailed to me so I can get the negative balance refunded but I never received this. The amount I am talking about is {$130.00}. I contacted a rep since I haven't received it yet, and we got to the point where they would directly deposit the balance into my account. This deposit happened XX/XX/XXXX. Later on, I saw I had a balance of {$130.00} on my AMEX card. Apparently AMEX thought I got the negative balance refunded twice ( once by mail-in check and once by direct deposit ) when I only got XXXX deposit in my bank account - the mail-in check never arrived and I have not deposited this amount by check at all. They claimed the {$130.00} account balance that got put on my account was from two refunds so this is incorrect. I had to pay {$130.00} on the account otherwise my credit would be affected. I am still negative balance of {$130.00} since my account has the direct deposit of {$130.00}, but then a debit of {$130.00}. I have talked to numerous individuals at AMEX but no one seems to understand that I still have not received my overpayment back.

Consumer Complaint: Today XX/XX/22 I bought a serve American Express card. I created an account put in my SSN and my ID. Then when I go to type in my card number it says " Oops Well, this is awkward. Were experiencing some technical difficulties, please try again in a moment. '' I can't register my card, which I need to do in order to put more money in it. Then I call their " 24 hour '' service only to get " helped '' with a useless robot. I then call again, but this time I ignore the options and sneak my way to call a human. When the human picks up I tell him my problem he just goes blank. There is a fake cracking/breathing sound to make it sound like his mic is not muted, but after 25 minutes I can assure he wasn't there and there were similar loops every 5 ish minutes.

Consumer Complaint: A charge off can not be reported late on my consumer report and a charge off can not have an amount to the alleged debt pursuant to Federal Law. It is already balanced in GAAP and I can not pay this alleged debt on a default note. Validate the debt and show me on and off ledger if information needs to be correct and addressed. Show me documentary evidence of alleged debt. Also we should run an forensic file audit to make sure alleged debt is accurate. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( c ) ( 2 ) ( a ) this alleged charge off account needs to be removed off my report within four days. This false and inaccurate information has hinder me from using my credit for personal, family and household purposes and I was not able to utilize my rights as a consumer due to false information on my credit report.
