Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX charged my AMEX card {$150.00} for the XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX season. Instead of notifying me of the charge they sent my wife an email stating our XXXX XXXX will be auto renewed. According to XXXX XXXX, my wife is the " head of household '' and she only receives emails. My wife called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, the same date the charge was posted on my credit card and requested the charge be removed because we did not elected to be in the auto-renew program. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX after seeing the charge on my AMEX and was told it was to late to make any changes with regards to my pass. I have copies of both cell phone calls to XXXX credit card department ( see attached ). I asked the call center agent to file a complaint and explained that I was never notified as the AMEX cardholder of the charge prior to it being posted and regardless of their policy should have informed me under the consumer protection laws. They instead notified my wife and although she called to cancel the pass on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX erroneously charged my AMEX account for {$150.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX are using deceitful methods to automatically enroll its consumers in a renewal program without clearly defining the consumers options. It is also important to point out that their website portal does not allow a consumer to delete or remove their credit card information. I have verbally, through email and their privacy portal requested my personal and credit card information be deleted without any avail.

Consumer Complaint: I deposited a check electronically into my bank American Express National Bank on XXXX, ck # XXXX for {$350.00}. I received confirmation check was received by bank. When I reconciled account at month end the deposit was not there, I contacted the bank and they told me I had a max limit of 5 checks per day ( I was never provided with any information about this maximum when I opened the account ). The bank claimed it declined the deposit, however the makers bank was debited for the {$350.00} funds. My bank told me to redeposit the check, which I did, and deposit was declined as a duplicate deposit. The makers bank ( XXXX XXXX ) has provided front and back of check showing it was honored and provided a tracing ID number for the transaction. My bank claims the tracing ID number is not valid and they have nothing else to offer me, basically offering no help in trying to resolve the problem. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone and on hold with my bank and they still claim it is not their problem, they have no proof of check every being paid even though XXXX XXXX has provided proof it was paid. This has been going on since XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: American Express was notified about charges on the account after my card was compromised by a associate of a mutual friend took possession of the card and during the time in I became of aware that the card had been compromised, about 2 hours from the time it was taken, I took steps to lock the card and immediately notify the bank. The bank on the initial three calls made to secure the account, failed to authenticate me due to my inability to verify the numbers on the card ; by this time i could not access the online Card account. Eventually, after the request for an escalation, I was able to secure the card and have a new card mailed. During the transit time of the replacement card I was unable to access any information in regards to the account, but deductions and transactions was allowed on the account, and after I received the card I called to file a dispute which the account specialist did not allow due the the amounts being in pending status. Now, I have amongst the charges already conveyed to the institute on the account there is a significant amount of other charges that are now on the account and the bank has not acted on any of my request that would refund, compensate, or provide relief of the transactions which had now caused hardships effecting the budgeting of my fixed income from government issued benefits that are deposited into the account monthly.

Consumer Complaint: I have been an AmericanExpress customer for over 25 years. In the 25 years I paid my account balance in full each month. In XXXX I was getting bombarded with solicitations from AmEx to open a new credit card account which offered 2 % XXXX % cash-back reward on each transaction made on the card. AmEx website is still promoting this card on their website. In XXXX I applied for and received a new AmEx XXXX XXXX XXXX card with the cash-back reward offer. Over the course next 2+ years I used the card for tens of thousands of $ transactions. At end of each month during these 2 years I paid off account balance in full. AmEx records would show that full payment on this account were made every month, until XX/XX/XXXX. Despite having paid off my balance every month in full, AmEx did not credit my account a single $ for the cash-back rewards, not once in the 2 years. In XX/XX/XXXX I closed this account. The XX/XX/XXXX statement from AmEx shows the cash-back reward balance AmEx owed me was {$1700.00}. I have written to AmEx multiple times in the last few months to reimburse me the cash-back reward as per the terms of this account. To date I have not received any cash-back reward from AmEx.

Consumer Complaint: I talked with several creditors and most gave me the run around and a couple, a couple of creditors actually said that they're sorry and that they will remove the inquiries and reach out to the bureaus to remove the inquires off of my credit report other creditors are telling me that they don't see anything about me or about my name being used to apply for credit with them but yet these inquires are on my credit report. some creditors are telling me to call the credit bureaus and i told them the credit bureaus are telling me to call the creditors now I'm calling the credit bureaus for a second time and telling them what the creditor are telling me now he credit bureaus are telling me that they cant remove the inquires to call the federal trade commission agency and i called them to tell them what the creditors and the credit bureaus said and the credit bureaus told me they cant remove inquires to call the federal commission agency so I called and they're telling me to call CFPB and now here I am typing this letter on this website, this should no be this difficult, its so easy for some reason for people to breach other people credit and credit reports but so hard for the people who are breached to get their credit and life back and very little to protect us i know some organizations helps us but other play the role but still get a check. I just need some help or do i need a lawyer or what??? this is exhausting. Consumer Complaint: Dollar Amount as of XXXX : {$140.00} Dear Sir/Madam : I received a statement from American Express to renew the annual Delta SkyMiles Gold Card membership for the fee of {$99.00}, which is due by XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, my spouse and authorized secondary card user, contacted American Express Customer Care at XXXX on my behalf to cancel both our Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express cards. In other words, we do not want to renew our membership and hence should not be paying for the membership fee. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another statement from American Express that showed a previous balance of {$99.00} for the membership fee, a late fee of {$40.00}, and interest of {$1.00}. I continued to receive monthly statements asking for the membership fee and late fees. Again, on my behalf, my spouse called the American Express customer care on XXXX and XXXX to let them know that she has already requested American Express to cancel our cards and not to renew the annual membership on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time, they would tell her that a manager will review this matter and reach out to us. However, to-date, neither of us has received any calls from any American Express manager . But one of the agents disclosed to my spouse that apparently the agent that she spoke to the first time has terminated her card but not mine. I was astonished at the incompetence of the American Express customer care agent, and it is not fair to penalize me for his error. I wrote to American Express in XX/XX/XXXX to complain about this matter. And they finally cancelled the cards and closed the account but continued to bill me for the membership fee and late fees. In addition, I also did not receive the {$100.00} Delta flight credit promised. This is a special credit issued to Delta credit cardholders that spend {$10000.00} or more in a calendar year on their Delta SkyMiles Gold Card. I have spent more than {$10000.00} in XXXX and have been prompt in making monthly payment. This is extremely frustrating. It is not fair to charge me for the membership fee and late fees for membership I have requested for them to cancel before the due date. I am asking for a fair resolution that American Express not to charge me for the annual membership fee and late fees for membership I neither use nor want. And issue me the {$100.00} Delta flight credit that is promised when I met my calendar year spending. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I paid for delivers with my American Express Card and the items was damage once I filed a claim with the carriers they fraudulent over charge my America Express card. I file a complaint with America Express for both charges {$440.00} on XX/XX/2022 and {$110.00} XXXX for a total of {$560.00}. I have evidence for the of their bait and switch to falsify the additional charge. On XX/XX/2022, I hired XXXX to retrieve a pallet of " kitchen cabinets '' I purchased at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in Pennsylvania for {$440.00}. On Thursday, XX/XX/2022, XXXX XXXX driver collected the package with and estimate delivery of Friday, XXXX XXXX ; however the pallet arrived 1 week later Friday, XX/XX/2022, at approximately XXXX damaged. I was not available to inspect or retrieve the package due to no prior arrangements or delivery confirmation. Upon inspecting the pallet approximately XXXX that even the knobs and gears damage and ignition coil bended. I contacted XXXX via telephone for issues sent as per the packaging split instructions. After 2 months of no reply XX/XX/2022 XXXX XXXX during via telephone communication stated they are not responsible for my damage claim because I did not purchase the additional insurance with them and to contact XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX to file a claim ( {$1800.00} damage claim ) Prior to XX/XX/2022 neither companies acknowledge or addressed my claim ; but on XXXX XXXX I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating XXXX XXXX ( assuming retaliation to my claim ) is requesting and additional {$110.00} for change of weight class. Original weight class XXXX XXXX XXXX submitted an invoice stating after during the transport the measurements was completely different changing the shipping weight to class XXXX. I immediately contacted XXXX with denied XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX claim that the pallet weight and measurements were different then on the Bill Of Lading ( I have fully email of the accuracy of the weight and measurements being Dimensions : L 61.0in x W 40.0in x H 24.0in weight class 125. XXXX XXXX refuse to honor my claim for damages and refund the additional payment of {$160.00} ; stating XXXX XXXX supplied them with the attached information to be paid. These companies have no integrity.

Consumer Complaint: A subject in California has assumed my ID. He has gotten into my XXXX XXXX, American Express, XXXX, XXXX XXXX credit card accounts. As well as my XXXX XXXX checking account. He got into my XXXX Credit bureau. Unlocked my freeze. Applied for accounts then re-locked it. He has continued to access my online accounts. Cancel cards and have them re-issued to his address in California. Our computers have been scrubbed. A virus monitoring service has been hired. Anti virus programs have been installed. All user ID and passwords have been changed. The subject still manages to bypass all bank security measures we have in place and access the accounts due to the info gleaned from my credit report. I also have a ID theft Monitoring Service. I have filed a report with my local Sheriff 's Department. They have not made any headway on this subject. I do have the Name, address, phone number, e-mail address the subject is using. I am out of ideas where to turn with this subject.
