Consumer Complaint: My Amex consumer credit card limit of {$11000.00} was reduced to the balance owed ( {$3500.00} ). Thus making the credit card balance due immediately as this tactic now makes the card 100 % utilized therefore negatively effecting my consumer credit score. I have made minimum payments due consistently. I was not given notice of this decrease in advance nor did Amex seem to take into consideration the implications that lowering the limit would then jeopardize my consumer credit score. No warning was given, just a email defining a lowering of the credit limit. Amex does not intend to allow me to pay the balance to reclaim my original limit.

I noticed American Express charged me {$29.00} for late fee from my last bill because they received my payment on XXXX / XXXX / XXXX. I called and spoke to Supervisor XXXX ( Case # XXXX ) And requested to remove the late fee because I do not know why my mail get to their Office for 8 days, and I never late on paying my bills. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I attempted to make a purchase for gas on my AMEX platinum card and they declined the purchase even though the minimum account payment was met on the account, and I had available credit to use to purchase. On the same day they denied my food purchase on my Amex Gold account, and I also had available credit as well. Minimum payment was due XXXX. Before the XXXX I had made some payments on the gold card but was unable to meet the full minimum payment by the due date. They had previously approved purchases after the XXXX. I notified them on XXXX to let them know I was going to submit full payment on XXXX XXXX and they stated that is when they will lift the hold on both card accounts. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the full payment because I have been going through a Hardship at this time. I notified them again on XXXX to let them know my situation and I asked for financial relief options. The representative said that there are NO financial relief options available to me. They said the program options are provided by the system and that there were none available to me. I was in a financial relief program before and paid accounts in full months early and I am ready to enroll in their financial relief program, and I am willing to make a payment to start which is part of their enrollment process. I just need assistance to get this process started and maintain my relationship with the creditor, but to say I dont have an option is not the answer or an option for me because I know that options are available to me, they just seem like they are not trying to be proactive and help.

Consumer Complaint: Amex offer its Platinum card holders a {$15.00} per month credit for uber purchases. I used the card XXXX times over the last 3 years for purchases with XXXX. They refuse to give me the credit that they offer as a benefit. I spoke to XXXX at XXXX and he refused to give me the {$15.00} credit. I asked for a Supervisor to review the situation and still they refused to give me the credit for the 14 months that I was owed. Supervisors name is XXXX. I feel that they mislead me into paying a {$700.00} a year fee to get this benefit and now they won't give me the benefit.

Consumer Complaint: I placed an order from XXXX on XX/XX/2023 for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$5600.00}. It was subsequently delivered on XX/XX/XXXX, and I reached out to the merchant, XXXX, same day via email. My issue with the order was I received XXXX empty boxes from the merchant. The merchant replied back via email that the weight of the box was XXXX and other email communication attempts to resolve the issue with the merchant XXXX was nonexistent as the merchant did not answer any further emails regarding the issue of my order only arriving with empty boxes. I filed a dispute online with my Amex credit card, and the first resolution was that they sided with the merchant and I contacted live chat to receive documents as to why they sided with the merchant. I never received these documents. I reopened the dispute on XX/XX/2023 and submitted the empty boxes as proof of the empty boxes I received from the merchant. It was again closed in favor of the merchant. I reached out to live chat again to receive the documents provided by the merchant and this time asked them to send via mail for a physical copy since I filed police report for the order as the value is pretty considerable. As of filing of this complaint, I still have yet to receive any proof of what the merchant submitted for the bank to side with them.
