Consumer Complaint: Upon noticing that Ally Bank was reporting a negative charge-off on my credit report. I sent them a certified letter requesting Validation of the unfamiliar account that they were reporting on my XXXX credit report, with notification that I was disputing the accuracy of the account. Ally failed to prove that they had the legal right to collect on the debt in question ; they were UNABLE TO VERIFY THE DEBT. In turn I received notification from XXXX Credit Bureau that the Ally account was deleted from my credit report. A few days later I discovered ALLY HAD STOLEN MY CAR. ALLY has violated my Consumer Rights as well as broken the Law. Under the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, it clearly states that if a Creditor Can not Verify the debt they may not collect the debt or otherwise contact the debtor about the debt. I have enclosed corresponding documentation.

Consumer Complaint: I, consumer XXXX is holding Ally Financial responsible for reporting unvalidated information to all the consumer reporting agencies on my name. This is fraud and my consumer rights are violated as per 15 USC section 1692d ( 1 ), any alleged unvalidated remarks or debt furnished to any of the consumer reporting agencies is ruining my reputation, and it is defamation of character. Ally Financial continues to report incorrect information related to untimely payments which are incorrect and should be removed on my consumer reports. I have reached to Ally numerous times regarding this issue including the consumer reporting agencies but no resolution as of yet. I plan on seeking remedy for damages for each Federally protected consumer rights violations under USC 1692 and legal actions if this issue does not resolve.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem with fees charged
Consumer Complaint: I have been a customer of Ally since 2015. Ally has incorrectly charged my account nearly {$1300.00} in late fees. I have contacted Customer Service on several occasions in an attempt to resolve this issue, but no one will assist me. Ally has refused to perform a comprehensive audit to justify the late fees. My payment is due on the XXXX of every month and the payment is paid no later than the XXXX in order to avoid late fees. Ally has suspended payments made online without a reason or justification. I am filing this complaint so that a full investigation can be done and the {$1300.00} is late fees are reversed as Ally applied these fees in error. I am XXXX years old and Ally has taken advantage of me by giving me the run around. Ally does not provide copies of all of the monthly statements online, so it is very difficult to track their accounting. I want a comprehensive audit done on my account and the late fees removed.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: When I applied for an Ally loan online on XX/XX/XXXX, I filled out the application form from their site : XXXX XXXX XXXX. The form stated : " What you should know : To comply with card network rules, we cant process payments from borrowers using a credit card beginning on XX/XX/XXXX. '' When I was approved for the loan, I emailed Ally customer care consultant on XX/XX/XXXX and asked if credit card payments can be made by XX/XX/XXXX. The customer representative confirmed credit cards are accepted for full payment and said to just call Ally before XXXX XXXX to make the payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ally billing to make the payment, but they refused even though I mentioned their website application stated the above quotation, ie. credit card payment by XXXX XXXX deadline. I logged onto Ally 's online account, which had a credit card selection that was disabled. I even emailed the billing agent the email conversation with Ally customer support from XX/XX/XXXX. They took down my phone number and said they would try to call back in 72 hours but they could not provide an answer to why their website application had the XXXX XXXX credit card payment option, but refused to accept payment when I called as instructed by Ally customer care.
