Consumer Complaint: I refinanced my vehicle in XXXX of 2021, and was owed a {$780.00} refund from Ally for the remained of the GAP coverage that I purchased with the initial finance. I was told I would receive the refund check within 60 days. The refund did not show up. In XX/XX/2021 I received a letter informing me they had mailed a check that had never been cashed, and if I had not received the check to mail the form back so a new check could be issued. I mailed the form back, and after 30 days still had not received a check. I called Ally on XX/XX/XXXX, and was told a check had been issued the week prior, and to allow another week for it to be delivered. The check never arrived, so I called again on XX/XX/XXXX to follow up. I spoke with an employee named XXXX, who told me they were having issues with a 3rd party company they used to cut their checks. I told him if they were issuing another check it needed to be send via XXXX or some method with a tracking number. I told him if this wasn't resolved my next step would be filing a complaint with the XXXX. He said he would need to speak to his supervisor and call me back. He called back later that day, and said he got approval to send me a check via XXXX, but it would take 3 to 4 days before they could send the check, but that he would call me with the tracking number. After not hearing anything for 15 days I received a voicemail with a XXXX tracking number XXXX. This tracking number pulls up a package that was delivered to XXXX XXXX, CA, but I live in XXXX XXXX, TX. I also have a XXXX XXXX XXXX account, so I am alerted anytime a shipping label is created that is sent to my address. I have not gotten anything from XXXX, so there was no label created with my address. They have either given me someone else 's tracking number, or mailed my check to CA. I believe I have taken all reasonable steps, and not gotten my money back. I need help as I am getting the run around from this company. I do not have a loan number, they use my VIN XXXX to pull up it up when I call.

I was told the balance on my account was XXXX they added an additional XXXX also couldnt refund my account back XXXX for a key they said I never gave them at the time I picked up my belongings I handed the key to the gentleman at the gate. I called Ally the day my car was auctioned on XX/XX/22 they said that they charged XXXX dollars for a key that I already had handed them in person at XXXX XXXX XXXX they should have corrected it the first time I meant Ally Auto XXXX so the credit bureaus can correct it on their end too.Also the balance is supposed to be XXXX as the correct balance of whats owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX and not XXXX0 Im waiting til Ally corrects that too with Credit Bureaus it should been XXXX subtracted by XXXX the auction balance of car which is XXXX to be corrected by Ally

We spoke to them, told to them stop calling, and asked them to remove the number from their account. They keep calling and have been for some time now. The most recent call was today ( XXXX XX/XX/2022 ), the first was on XXXX XX/XX/2022. They've called at least XXXX times and have had all of this explained to them. Each time they promise to remove the number and stop calling but they obviously have not removed the number and they continue to call. The number they leave is this : Ally Financial XXXX XXXX XXXX ext XXXX XXXX I also spoke to someone claiming their name is XXXX XXXX ; XXXX promised to remove the number last weekend by the way. I get the idea that there really is not a XXXX XXXX as when you call back ; she is never there and I end up speaking to somone else.

I initially the request well ahead of their cut off of XXXX XXXX. ( I sent it in XXXX XXXX ) They claimed that they didn't have enough time to review it and did not send out my wire. in time. I needed the funds today for my title company for the purchase of a property and due to them it was delayed due to XXXX hours wasted trying to get my funds from a CD and then them not processing a wire on time.

When I contacted the merchant they said that they never received XXXX because the bank have not contacted them to close the dispute. The bank did not find me nor the merchant XXXX that came out of my bank account and refused to give me information about my account. They refuse to inform XXXX that the dispute is closed. Ally refuse to let me know where the funds are and why XXXX do not have the funds. They refuse to contact XXXX to resolve this issue to clear my account with XXXX. I have many recordings of representatives hanging up on me with a supervisor calling me a XXXX

Consumer Complaint: There was a bank transfer for {$7300.00} from Ally bank and I had given a check for that amount but the transfer didn't come in time of the check being cashed so It ended up being a return of posted check. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Stated that they do not have any of the funds and it was cancelled out. Ally bank is stating there are two ACH withdrawal from XXXX XXXX XXXX but on my XXXX XXXX XXXX statement there are not two withdrawal from me. This collection will go on my credit and will effect me.this is a mess up on Ally bank and XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX not me. Ally is not working with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to resolve this issue. Which is not my fault that someone one on either side messed up not me. This has stressed me out to the max, I've been having XXXX and I already suffering with XXXX this has elevated it.
