Consumer Complaint: I'm XXXX XXXX, and I need your help in contacting this company. I made an attempt to get in touch with them to ask why someone had registered an account in my name. I regret that this extremely significant issue is now harming my credit profile. Since it also violates data privacy, I do not let anybody to use my name, date of birth, or any other information. They must identify who started the account in my name and just provide that individual my information. Kindly help me in solving this.

Issue: Other transaction problem

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I started a request to transfer all assets in my XXXX IRA account ending XXXX with Ally Invest to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, most of assets were transferred except one mutual fund, XXXX, valued {$5600.00}, are still remaining with Ally Invest. Even more surprisingly, that XXXX IRA account has been marked as " CLOSED ''. Since then, I called Ally Invest twice on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX. The representatives said they would file an inquiry but until now, nothing has happened. Those securities of mine are still kept in a " closed '' account in Ally Invest, and I do not have a way to access them.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease

Subissue: Billing problem

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted Ally with an AFFIDAVIT for the VALIDATION of DEBT for account # XXXX, and a valid contract between me and ALLY with my wet signature. After 56 days, Ally has failed to reasonably respond to the changes to the contract I have submitted with my presentments. As a remedy to this, I have made a demand for zero balance, demand for the grant of my title ( CLEAR and FREE ), demand for the reimbursement of the downpayment of {$1000.00}, demand reimbursement of code violations in the amount of 21,000 for those code violations, demand for the cost of postage for {$100.00} and demand for removal from all consumer reports. This company has not responded to my presentments and as of XX/XX/2022, I have waited for 56 days and therefore VOIDS their claims against me and their security interest in the XXXX XXXX. The mailings above were sent via return receipt which I have that are signed by this company. The XXXX, XXXX XXXX, has been contacted as well. Due to the non-response, I am now sending my INTENT TO SUE.

Issue: Closing an account

Subissue: Company closed your account

Consumer Complaint: My checking and savings accounts were closed. I called in and was told there wasn't a reason why it was closed, I would get a letter and the money from my account in the form of a check in 7-10 business days. I was not satisfied with this so the agent looked and looked, and found no reason, but said she thought I might have violated their deposit agreement. I wish I had enough money to violate a deposit agreement .... Eventually when I went to escalate the call, she contacted someone in another department, and said that because I had a fraudulent charge of {$4.00} from XXXX ( confirmed from XXXX it was someone else ) they were going to close my account. Mind you, this had already been credited and a new debit card had been issued and was being used. So two reasons, neither one makes sense There was absolutely no warning whatsoever and it doesn't take a genius to realize a bank is not going to close the account of a 5+ year member over a {$4.00} charge. I even asked if they could expedite the money in the account to me, and they refused. I believe it may have had to do with receiving public assistance. I really can't think of another reason why it would be. Obviously, this is illegal, so I am here filing the complaint.

Issue: Written notification about debt

Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt

Consumer Complaint: In 2020 I did a voluntary surrender of my truck due to the covid pandemic and not being able to afford it. Ally Financial sold the truck and passed the remaining balance to a debt collector XXXX XXXX XXXX. Ive had my bank send them checks every month for {$100.00} since we were made aware of the remaining balance that was owed. I have never missed a payment in the few years Ive had this collection. I noticed that this XXXX my payment wasnt collected, but XXXX had been. My husband had contacted XXXX which his was then informed that Ally took back the payments. He spoke with three different people within two companys and no one could tell him any information about our account, balance, anything. He asked for a letter that had their letterhead with an address, phone number, account number, balance and dated. The customer service person told him no that he could set up our payments with them. Which my husband said no I want a letter with all of the information I asked for. We want the extra proof from our bank that checks are sent and cashed. The customer service person refused. This was on XX/XX/XXXX. We have still yet to receive any kind of noticed of who actually has the debt on our truck.
