Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Re : Ally Financial XX/XX/2021 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to inform you that I am deeply concerned about an unauthorized inquiry that you made on my consumer report. As a responsible consumer, I believe that it is essential for companies to respect the privacy and security of their customers ' personal information. However, it has come to my attention that you obtained my credit bureau report without my permission or a permissible purpose, which is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 USC 1681b. I have not initiated any transactions with your company, nor do I have an account with you for review or collection purposes. Therefore, there is no valid reason for you to access my credit report. Your actions amount to a violation of the FCRA, which is punishable by law, and I am prepared to take legal action if necessary. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio, from Ally Auto Lender. The price of the car is {$22000.00}, with an APR of 11.99 %, with a term of 72 months. Last year, I went back to the dealership and was denied credit to trade the car in for a new one, unless I had a co-signer. Under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act several rights were violated, i.e., the dealership didn't explain the process for fixing my credit mistakes, did not give me the name or telephone number of the credit company, and nor did they tell me about my right to get a free copy of my credit report to name a few. There was also some credit discrimination. I was encouraged and told to apply for a type of loan with higher interest rate with less favorable terms.Under the Consumer Credit Transaction if I am doing a transaction, I should've been given a Sum of all charges, which I was not, nor was information disclosed to me.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with Ally Bank earlier this year on XX/XX/XXXX and transferred {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to the account. Later on XX/XX/XXXX my mom deposited {$100.00} and {$200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX via XXXX. I tried to transfer {$370.00} out via XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX this year and Ally Bank wouldn't let me. They restricted and froze my account claiming suspicious and fraudulent activity but it was me trying to get my own money from my account. They shut down my online account and I could no longer log in. I called multiple times and was put on hold for hours on XX/XX/XXXX until the bank hang up on me and told me there was nothing they could do. I kept calling in XXXX and XXXX and XXXX many times and was put on hold and transferred for hours and never was able to access my account or money again. Finally on XX/XX/XXXX I called and was told that they closed my account and sent me a check, but I never received any check. I told them I had not received the check and they sent me an affidavit to sign on XX/XX/XXXX which I signed and sent the next day via XXXX mail and fax. I still have not received the check for my money. The bank stole {$400.00} from me and I need the money back.

Consumer Complaint: Hello and please note that this is my second complaint filed with Ally Home Loans. I have desperately been trying for months to have Ally follow the law ( SCRA and California Military Families Financial Relief Act ). While they have been in contact with me, I have not gotten any written confirmation that I am on the deferment program. Rather, as of yesterday XX/XX/2023 I was removed from the regular payment program. Today, they are showing I am late on my payments and have reversed my funds. This is incredibly stressful. I have an impound account. The means, that although my mortgage is deferred, my property taxes and insurance are not. I am now removed from the program, and no one at XXXX seems to know anything. Please help.

The bank has continued to not investigate and has used excuses like my not submitting a reply letter on time to close the investigation. I have given the bank 6 months to investigate and to this date they have not. The entire case is outlined in detail in the attached documents including dates, times, ect. Please refer to these attachments for further detailed information. Informational letters to XXXX regarding the XXXX part of this fraud is also included in attached documents. This fraud has been reported to the FBI and the IC3 FBI form is attached below.
