Consumer Complaint: While waiting for a final review of my Temporary Extended Public Service Loan Forgiveness Application, my student loans were forgiven under the temporary waiver. Given the added FFEL payments that were now counted, my forgiveness date should have been in XXXX. For this reason, I should have received a refund for all payments made from XXXX to the start of the Covid forbearance. However, I was one of many accounts whose NSLDS loan history data showed an extended and erroneous " In Grace '' status when my loans were still with XXXX XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, I received bills and paid monthly, but those months appear on my loan history as " in grace ''. Everyone with student loans knows that is impossible. Grace periods never last more than 6 months and I was already paying, was not in school, and would not have been eligible for a grace period at that time, let alone one that lasted 34 months. Because of this error, those months were not counted, and my forgiveness date shows as XXXX XXXX and therefore, I did not receive a refund for any of those months I paid beyond when I would have hit 120 payments for PSLF. This problem became known by the Department of Education and the errors have been fixed for those affected who had not yet received forgiveness. Unfortunately, my loan history has not been corrected and to date, I have not received the refund I am due because as long as that error remains, my forgiveness date remains incorrect as well. I need this fixed! I understand that I am fortunate to have received forgiveness and I am grateful. However, this administrative error has robbed me of a significant refund of over {$8000.00} by my calculations- a refund others received only because they were not a victim of this system error. I am filing this complaint because the ombudsman/complaint process at the Department of Education is broken and the 3 complaints I have filed have been dismissed without any research or even attempt at trying to understand the nature or merits of my complaint, despite them knowing this was a system issue and my submitting proof of payments for those months. I would like someone to actually address this- correct the NSLDS errors, adjust my forgiveness date, and credit me the payments made between the adjusted forgiveness date and the start of the covid forbearance. Thank you for your help.

Consumer Complaint: In trying to manage my student loan accounts, I have been trying for months to unenroll from automatic debit payments. When payments resume, I simply wish to submit my payments manually each month. Each time I ( or any borrower I assume ) clicks " Cancel Direct Debit '' it logs me out and says an unexpected error has occurred. I assumed this was a temporary issue, and have been trying for months with the same result. I have contacted FedLoan Servicing ( the servicer ) on XX/XX/2022 and XX/XX/2022. They will not respond, help me cancel direct debit, etc. With continued uncertainty surrounding student loan repayments, it is not unreasonable for consumers to wish to monitor their loans closely and submit payments themselves when payments resume. I simply wish to opt-out of direct debit, but FedLoan Servicing is making that impossible.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to resolve my hardship problem by applying for forbearance at the end of XX/XX/2021. It was not processed successfully until the end of XXXX. I am not sure why they did not receive my initial application. When I realized it wasn't processed, I called again, another form was sent but it was the wrong form. When that form was denied. I called again and the proper form was sent over for me to fill out and submit for approval. It was finally approved but one of the loans in the package had different terms that I was not made aware of. I have one loan number that applies to all three of the loan on my account. The forbearance form ask for that number. If I log into my accounts at XXXX there are no individual loan numbers for the XXXX loans that are listed, again they are all listed under the one account number which is XXXX. It was not disclosed that the forbearance application would not apply to all XXXX of my loans anywhere on the application or over the phone. I asked that they review all the calls made in regard to the forbearance and it would prove that this information was not disclosed. XXXX of the accounts that belonged to citizens bank were approved for the forbearance but the one issued by XXXX was not. AES updated the 30 day late comment on my credit report for XXXX bank but did not update it for XXXX. The accounts are current now and reporting as current on my credit report although the XXXX late stain is still on my credit report from XXXX and I do not think this is just. I have attached the letter with specific dates that I sent to AES in an attempt to solve the dispute. I hope you all can assist me in resolving this because it is having a serious impact on my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: AES has ignored my request for investigation of forged documentation on my promissory note. They have used elusive tactics and verbiage to elude the fact this promissory note is proven to be forged. I have provided the package back with all my signed notarized signatures and samples from documentation-signature past and present- current for comparison. The promissory note was forged by someone at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX * { k. XXXX possibly see promissory } inserts were made, dates were altered, scratched off not signed to verify the altered dates, and this signature is mine. The inserts of persons reference are completely false. The person that altered this inserted friends when they are in fact my family. This altered inserted description is not my handwriting. The transfer forged documentation over to Goal Financial from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX was illegally preformed. They have not provided me with proof of a hand analysis experts to come to conclusion for denying my claim. They are elusive to my inquiries regarding this case. I have been dealing with this since 2019 during the hardship of the pandemic, when discovery of the promissory note was mailed to me only because I requested it. I have never received this promissory note and I can see why. It was altered and forged
