Consumer Complaint: FedLoan reported 5 late payments on seven accounts with a total of 35 payments for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX, even though I was in Administrative Forbearance from XX/XX/XXXX, to XX/XX/XXXX. I have submitted multiple disputes with a copy of the letter, and they keep denying my correction approval stating I'm not submitting any information.

Consumer Complaint: FedLoans has been giving me the brush off for 3 years now. I have submitted 3 XXXX employment verification forms and have received 3 letters from them telling me they are in the process of transferring my loans to FedLoans and once they are transferred, they will calculate my eligibility for XXXX and the number of qualifying payments I have made. Problem is that my loans never transfer and they and the Department of Education just send me in never ending circles telling me it's in process. I've filed complaints with DOE and they contact FedLoans, and FedLoans tells them the transfer is in process, and then DOE close the complaint without verify that the loans transferred. After 3 years I deserve to have my progress documented, so many are getting screwed out of their forgiveness because of their shady actions. I should have about 3 years of qualifying payments, and I have no documentation or confirmation from DOE. The DOE website shows that I have 0 months of qualifying payments because Fedloans will not transfer and calculate it. FedLoans constantly lies to me about the status and about being in process. I've sent multiple email correspondence and they dont respond.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for XXXX student loan forgiveness in XXXX, XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from FedLoan Servicing stating my application had been received. But when I call ( XXXX ) XXXX to check on the status, there is no record of my SSN or account number. I have to wait about two hours to talk to someone only to be told they have to route me to the " correct department ''. Then I get disconnected every single time. I have called on the following dates : - XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX The letter says it can take XXXX to 120 days to process my application, but that is unreasonably too long considering everything is done through electronic interfacing. If nothing else, the system should still recognize my SSN or account number, otherwise I would not have received a letter confirming application receipt. I believe FedLoan Servicing, like several other student loan servicers, are engaging in fraud. They are billing the government for services they are not actually providing to borrowers and they make it impossible to contact them.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Agent, I want to file a complaint about CornerStone Education Loan Service. This organization is run by the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. CornerStone services federal student loans for borrowers all over the country. First, my loans were transferred to this company in XXXX. I had trouble paying the loans and they never offered PSLF option or IBR options. From XXXX until XXXX, I was placed on Forbearance without any true explanation of the increased interest nor information about PSLF with IBR. I feel this was unlawful withholding of information for years. Had I known, I would not have accepted/agreed to Forbearance. Therefore, with this current student loan wavier I did not qualify for loan forgiveness. I worked in a nonprofit for 13 years. Once Cornerstone stopped servicing loans, I transferred to FedLoans. There I did my own due diligence and learned about IBR. As you are aware, the lawsuits and misinformation is true and real. Please search this company and seek justice for us students. What occurred when these companies took over the loan is not fair or justice. Please help many of us who were influenced into forbearance, to get that time back, and have forbearance count towards this wavier, so that we can qualify for loan forgiveness.

Consumer Complaint: Please see attached record of employment and screen shots from my account. FedLoan finally certified my qualifying service, but with huge errors. First, FedLoan omitted 24 months of service ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ) even though they have certified my employment from my second employer. Second, they're not counting my service at my current employer, even though my application clearly says " I still work here. '' They've only counted 2 months ; I've worked at my current employer since XX/XX/XXXX, which means there's 3 months of services omitted. So by my count, I am missing XXXX months of service. If these were accounted for correctly, then I would have loan forgiveness at this point. I'm so angry. They are incompetent.

Subissue: Received bad information about your loan

Consumer Complaint: I have spent countless hours on hold with Fed Loan servicing trying to achieve the student loan forgiveness I am entitled to under the new XXXX waiver. My employment history has been verified with 13 plus years of public service. I have never missed a payment on my loans during that time, however a large chunk of payments from 2011 are missing from my records! This is exceedingly frustrating that nobody can help me. I am put on hold time after time and given no explanation for a solution. I am losing faith that I will ever receive the relief I was promised. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: Cases against the PHEAA ( FedLoan Servicing ) : Cases of Greed, Corruption, and Mismanagement. My Case : General seeming mis-mangagement was noticed as early as XXXX and XXXX when not all my 10+ loans were listed on my loan statements and on my online account-some were missing, which was misleading. My specific case of PHEAA is specific greed and corruption manifest by not sending me my annual ( or even quarterly ) accrued interest for most of the years the last 6-7 years, and automatically capitalizing the interest into the principal causing my overall student loan debt to jump over 100K, and then causing interest upon interest upon interest upon interest to accrue like a run-away freight train. The last accrued interest statement I received was in XX/XX/XXXX, and it gave me ( counting time in mail both ways ) essentially only 1 week 's notice to pay {$1700.00} of interest. I needed just 1-2 weeks to get these funds to keep from the capitalizing, but the argument of this case is that they were motivated by greed and wanted so much for the interest to be capitalized so that in the long run they would get more money out of me. This is corruption at its core, not in " good faith '' as the law requires. Its bad, its greed. So I filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( USEd ). My request was to go back to XXXX and separate the interest that they wrongfully capitalized restoring my overall student loan balance and apply the next payment I made after that to the accrued interest. USEd must have sent the complaint to XXXX. I received a letter from FedLoan Servicing this past week and they refused to do this.

Consumer Complaint: I was in XXXX XXXX bankruptcy and working full time for a government agency when payments were made to my student loan servicer. None of the payments that I made were applied as qualifying payments for consideration on my public student loan forgiveness. None of these payments were applied to my principal balance they were all applied to interest. Payments were made from XX/XX/XXXX through XXXX of XXXX. I believe these payments should qualify for the revised consideration for public service loan forgiveness program. I believe all the payments meet the revised standards for payment count toward forgiveness.
