Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX US BANK CONSOLIDATED accessed my credit file with XXXX without my permission. This is a fraudulent inquiry, which I did not authorize, since I never authorized anyone employed by US BANK, OR ANY OTHER COMPANY including the agency copied, to make any inquiry and view my credit report. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b ( c ) and a serious breach of my privacy rights I am making this final goodwill gesture to allow you to correct your erroneous reporting, and I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with the 3 parties above, and including multiple complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the Attorney Generals office, should you continue in your non-compliance. I further remind you that, as in Wenger v. Trans Union Corp., No. 95-6445 ( C.D.Cal. XXXX XXXX XXXX ), you may be liable for your willful non-compliance. Failure to respond satisfactorily within 30 days from this complaint, may result in a small claims action against the 3 parties, seeking {$1000.00} per violation for : 1. ) Defamation 2. ) Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3. ) Violations of the Fair Credit Reporting This was reported immediately from the alerts I got, and placed a security freeze to my credit file. XXXX is the only out of 3 agencies that have not put the freeze as requested, that both XXXX and XXXX did, and this in addition to several other inquiries started after the XXXX data breach publicly known.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I tried to get information about balances and transaction amounts on 5 ( five ) Rewards Cards issued by US Bank with the Debit/Visa logo on the front. I tried calling their automated service which supposedly gives balances and transaction histories. None of our transaction histories were in the system. It said XXXX balance available but NO TRANSACTIONS. That makes no sense. I tried to reach a human being to discuss this and stayed on hold for 20 minutes listening to their annoying on-hold music only to finally reach someone who couldn't help me dispute charges like their phone system offered ... instead they wanted to give me another phone number to call. WHAT? The automated voice system said I could get card information on a website. The website was an absurd creation by someone who doesn't know how to design websites, and it created errors repeatedly. There were NO OPTIONS to address an issue with the website. US Bank has done and incredible job of erecting barriers and obstacles for their victims ( customers ) to waste time on before giving up. Apparently this is their business model. On the back of the card it claims they can charge $ XXXX/month if you don't use the card. Really? You can't get info from a human, you cant get info from their 800 number obstacle course and you can not get registered on their ridiculous non-functional website. What a joke. I need someone from US Bank to call me to get this resolved so I don't need to waste more time as US Bank 's victim/customer.

Consumer Complaint: US Bank and Elan Financial Services have created a website that does not work, and they also have a phone system that transfers victims ( customers ) through countless departments, on-hold time wasters, and people who can not do everything needed ... resulting in more transfers. It's like, seriously, does US Bank or Elan Financial Services PAY people to create the most burdensome XXXX XXXX customer service procedure so victims just give up and throw away their joke reward debit card? Unbelievable a bank in the USA would treat victims this way.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I was recently a student at a college I no longer attend. I feel as if they mishandled me and discriminated against me. I have {$1000.00} to owe this bank as a charge off. There were fraudulent charges and activity in my account that I had no knowledge of. And my account owed this large amount. I was even told by fraud department that this school branch in XXXX, MO should have closed my account a long time ago if there was suspicious activity and open a new one, instead they just kept it alive. I have been mishandled and feel discriminated against. I do not want a closed account on my XXXX as that can cause problems along the way. I want to be able to possibly open a new account with this bank in the near future or any other bank for that matter.

Consumer Complaint: We had a Mortgage starting in XXXX with US Bank Home Mortgage. In XXXX we filed bankruptcy at that time we re-affirmed the Mortgage. In XXXX of XXXX we refinanced our Mortgage for a lower interest rate with our credit union. At that time we found out that US Bank had not reported our Mortgage to the credit bureau 's since the bankruptcy ( for 10 years ) I had a 3-way call with a XXXX Agent and a agent with US Bank named XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. During that call US Bank told XXXX that we had payed every payment on time every month for the last 10 yrs and there we no late payments during that time. US Bank said I had to have asked them to start reporting to the Credit Bureau when the loan was reaffirmed and asked if I wanted that now. I said yes. Its still not reported. I have spent hours on the phone with person after person at US Bank and they always send me to another person and I get a different reason why they can not help me. They keep telling me to dispute with with the Credit Bureau. XXXX said I can not file a complaint on something that is NOT on my report and that I need to get it resolved with US Bank. I want my husband and I 's Mortgage to show on our credit report even though it is now closed since we refinanced. I want it on our Credit Report like it is for all our other loans/credit credit cards that are closed saying we paid as agreed since XXXX. I am attaching the part of my Bankruptcy where I re-affirmed the Mortgage in my bankruptcy in XXXX. Also attaching the document from XXXX saying they confirmed with USBank that we paid our mortgage on time for the last 99 months with no late payments. Also attaching the dispute outcome from XXXX, I could only file the dispute under the bankruptcy since my mortgage is not on my credit report. After getting the outcome I called XXXX and that is when they told me I can NOT dispute something ( the mortgage ) that is not on my credit report.

Now I have received a reliacard through US Bank for unemployment funds to be deposited to and used as a debit card. I did not file for unemployment nor being issued a debit card. When I call US Bank to let them know about the fraudulent account being opened and the debit card issued based on this, the account number sent on the card no longer works either. I want everything closed having to do with the account being used in my name to issue these reliacard debit cards.

Consumer Complaint: I failed to mention this in my previous report about XXXX XXXX. so please read that report first. In XXXX when I opened my XXXX account they opened me an account at US bank I later received a credit card attached to that account.. I paid on the card but no matter what I did fraurdulent charges came on the card.. when I went in the bank to resolve the issue they could not verify me because I had no ID this was approx. XX/XX/XXXX as I was attempting to leave the person who was abusing me. They told me I had the wrong card that was attached but would not explain it to me. Later a supervisor Mr XXXX told me XXXX XXXX was committing fraud against me. I asked what I had paid so many times for my credit card if it was not the one I showed them.. They have never answered.. In XX/XX/XXXX they told me the account was closed when I asked about accessing the funds because I had escaped the area. I discovered in XX/XX/XXXX the account was still open and they needed me to agree to a statement about my trade lines.. I stated I could not agree I had no idea what a trade line was. I had gone to US Bank after XX/XX/XXXX to open my new account with my new name and new SS number.. I did not give then any old information. the very first transaction on my account was fraudulently done by them. They charged my account for internet before I even know my own new address or been approved for my apartment.. They stated my account was opened one XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and that I went to XXXX that same day.. when visa card services did there investigation they discovered it was fraud. After that US Bank withheld my SS telling me it was not there and I was unable to pay my rent when in fact it was there and my and the local crisis response people verified it was and the trusure said my funds were there.. The local crisis response people had to call and take me there and force US Bank to release my funds to me.. after that they said my account was closed but continued to send me certified checks each time stating my account was closed.. Finally a customer service worker told me I had several accounts and that US Bank had closed my old accounts unautherized by me but was my money that was stolen from I believe my insurance policy XXXX and I had no idea where the funds had gone.. But US Bank closed the old accounts by updating them with my new identity so they could get them closed.. US Bank used my new identity before I did and then tried blaming me saying I must have got the date wrong.. I finally said this is the exact thing the man who abused me does it is called gas lighting and it is a form of abuse that for someone like me it is the worst from of them all.. I attemted repeatedly to resolve this issue and until there own fraud dept said the charges where fraudulent.. After that I requested the documentation for discovering it was fraud and they have not given it to me yet and it has been 6 months.. Now after 4 certified checks according to them to close one account they are now saying I owe them a debt..Lastly I have now been informed not only have they taken my insurance funds fraudulently but they received XXXX XXXX dollars from the state of Ne in my name that I never knew about also have said horrible things about me in my new community which I now again will have to relocate.. but am unable to due to financial reasons and this will be my 4th move in a year and a half..Also I have a line of credit for a home purchase and I believe they used me saying yes by telling me they where my daughter when I received an email in XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX .. US bank XXXX it said .. I had asked if it was XXXX because I was trying to contact my daughter to let her know my intentions of leaving there.. I told her to email me and I thought she was disguising herself I then asked the emailer if they where her and they replied yes.. after that I wrote the email address begging her to speak to me believing she thought I had abandonded her and hated me.. I also told her to write me at the local DHSH office food stamps and to leave me a message there if she could not reach me.. I disclosed her medical information by telling her to include it in her emails and stae so and she would be protected by HIPPA I had no reason to believe that US BANK could act in this manner so I believed it was her and feel ashamed for being ignorant and heart broke for my daughter that I disclosed a HIPPA right that is in a class requiring special protection I can let her personally tell a CFPB personal over the phone what I disclosed but I can not list it here

Consumer Complaint: Hi. Name is XXXX XXXX. I requested closing my US Bank Account because fraud activity : 1. A transaction with XXXX. 2. A transaction with XXXX XXXX. It shows pending transactions and completed when the third party did not cashed out the money requested by them & me. Now they opened the account using those fraud activities so they can charge me for a dispute that was opened a month ago and was rewarded to me ( XXXX - One month charge, one month free, they wanted to charge both months, so not. And I tried to send the information to be done with that dispute but nobody answer in the direct line & called the 800 fraud department and was told account was close, so I did not send the information. Name is XXXX XXXX. As I said they opened the account and had me negative balance out of evil, because I was calling and calling and dispute with them and requested account closed. I called again as of today XX/XX/2020 and they asked for the information again but no guarantee that the account will be positive. Then they should had not close my account with the dispute or opened it again with the same fraud activity that made me close it in first place. I think it cancels it out. I do not had time to deal with them. Need your help. Thanks. In fact they lied as you can see in final letter, they send, there was not credit and deposit of {$36.00} Dollars. What it was - {$36.00} Dollars. Thanks. I need them to reverse that negative balance. And close my account with a positive. And no reporting to any credit bureau. In fact they owned me for {$44.00} from XXXX XXXX The {$20.00} from XXXX they returned but that was after closed account when it should had not appeared at all as completed because XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX, she never cash it out. And yes XXXX XXXX order and the confirmation tell me bank authorized, confirmed it, was pending, so it appear like they got it, but it, pending but never received the money because US Bank. Thanks.
