Consumer Complaint: My credit card was stolen from my friend 's car. The bank called to notify me that there was suspicious activity on my card, I told them it wasn't me as I was out of town and in a completely different state. When they first called, I made mention that I usually leave that card at home but didn't know where it was as I did not have it on me. They have refunded and unfunded my card multiple times. They have done extensive research showing I have never used that card in that town or with that store. I have sent them 2 police reports, mine and my friends. My flight information. My CC information showing charges that I was in another state. Now they are saying that if my friend 's wallet was stolen, which had my card in it, then she would have needed to get a new ID and I need to show them that as proof the theft took place. Her Id was never stolen, she had it on her. They found it suspicious I had used my card at a grocery store with the same name, ONCE, over XXXX miles away at a completely different time. They have opened, closed, reopened the claim over and over again. At this point it feels like harassment. My friend 's card was also stolen, she uses the same bank and hasn't had to do anything. I've been dealing with this for 2 months. It's nearly impossible to get the information to the fraud department, even the local branch I have brought all the paperwork too can't get ahold of them easily. I've requested management call me to no avail. Their management is doing everything it can, including making up scenarios, to try and make it look like I'm lying.

Not knowing they use XXXX whom I have never and will never use as they are a bunch of crooks it is all over the internet!! They took the order then at the end after I paid using my debit card I noticed they had the wrong pickup location, it said XXXX IL which is up by XXXX IL about XXXX or XXXX hours north of me!!! I then tried to chat with the picker and gave them all of the information and told them of the error and told them to stop and not pick it or to contact the XXXX IL store to pick it as I am in XXXX and they ignored the chat and completed the order and set up a pickup time! I contacted XXXX corporate and they sent me back to XXXX who I had already contacted where some XXXX girl would not listen or help and refused to cancel and refund my {$19.00} for the groceries I never received which is FRAUD!!! I asked for a manager and she would not let me talk to him then said he would tell me the same! I told her I would call corporate and she said they would tell me the same and that I would just have to cancel and wait XXXX stays for my money but she never cancelled it!! I then filed a dispute with my bank US Bank in XXXX IL and took in all attached documents and complaint form they gave me after they applied the provisional credit and now they are denying me and taking it back claiming I received the products I never received as they were delivered to XXXX IL XXXX hours north of me!!!! I want this complaint sent to the FTC and bank regulators and I am sending a copy to XXXXXXXX XXXX office too!! The FRAUD is going to stop!!! These businesses, third party processors and banks are working in cohoots and committing theft and fraud!! I also want you to send me a list of banks that will accept my XXXX checks that are honest near me so I can leave this crooked bank!!

XXXX of the transactions was a Doctors office where a credit adjustment for {$230.00} was issued against my card. Elan Financial Services is the issuer of the card and refuse to remove the bogus charges from my account. They stated that because I still physically have the card they are not responsible. Please help me, I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and will not pay this because I didn't do it. I talked to them today and they refuse to reopen and investigate this fraudulent activity.

I received XXXX letters from XXXX Bank denying my claim because the transactions posted successfully as I had initially requested. The issue is that I paid for services from a contractor that I have not received. I am writing this complaint to once again explain that I have paid a contractor for services not rendered. At the direction of the contractor, I did not pay him directly - I paid someone who he claimed is his wife. The contractor refused to provide vital pieces of information about his business after failing to perform services as agreed. I have paid XXXX XXXX at the direction of XXXX XXXX, owner of XXXX XXXX. XXXX was supposed to perform services after receiving a sum of {$1700.00}. He confirmed receipt of the funds and failed to begin the job as agreed. I would like an actual human being to read and understand what has been explained in plain XXXX. This is not about whether or not the money transfer was successful - This is about theft and failure to perform services as agreed. If someone needs this further explained, and if required by US Bank I will gladly provide several text messages from both XXXX XXXX, the contractor and myself to confirm the information I have provided is correct. I have been defrauded and I would appreciate my money back as I would like to be made whole. How a bank that is supposed to protect customer funds would allow this kind of thing to continue to go on is beyond me. Please return my money.

XXXX said they have no way to locate the payment and US bank should be assisting with this. US bank said they do not have the option to stop payment for balance transfers and my request to have it returned has been declined because there was no bank error in processing.
