Consumer Complaint: my mortgage company bb & t changed its name to truist the bb & t name vanished from my credit file for 30 days, my credit score was XXXX then it took a dive to XXXX, and I lost critical points in the process. I know you are in the process of helping companies make money off of the taxpayers by keeping them in a low credit score bracket. doing this pandemic people are already in a low credit score bracket. if i wanted to refinance my home would have had to pay a higher interest rate because this credit score dived to XXXX i feel that my credit score should not have taken the dive, being protected under the fair credit act of XXXX - XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 someone used my information to open a checking account with Truist Bank. I received numerous letters in the mail from Truist. Someone tried depositing {$4900.00} into said account, which ended up being a fraudulent check. I received a letter dated XX/XX/2022 with a copy of the fraudulent check. I tried several times to get ahold of this Truist bank, whom I've never heard of before, to let them know I didnt open an account. I was finally able to get ahold of someone to inform them by the end of XXXX. I was informed by the person I talked to that they would send the claim to the fraud department. 2 to 3 weeks later I received a voice message from a man at Truist bank, in the fraud department, that he was working on it and that he would send me a letter in the mail about what they found. I have yet to receive said letter. And have gotten calls/voice messages about debit collections.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX i submitted an EDIL loan for the SBA in the name of my XXXX XXXX XXXX company XXXX XXXX at the time i was unaware of my company 's status with the state of XXXX due to being in the hospital suffering from gunshots to my chest and back as a result of being carjacked. I got out and restored my company to good standing with the state of Georgia to continue business as if nothing had happened. during which time my XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX account was closed due to my hospitalization. I couldn't make the necessary payment account was closed. i opened an account with BB & T in XXXX, MD. sent my loan funds to BB & T. They accepted my loan then closed my account stating i opened the account in fraud. AND THAT THEIR HEADQUARTER SPOKE WITH THE SBA. AND THE SBA REQUESTED THE FUNDS BACK. when i spoke with the SBA they said they had no knowledge of what the bank was speaking of. In all BB & T stole XXXX odd dollars from me in dishonest means please help me recover my funds or return them to the SBA as im am still responsible for the loan

Consumer Complaint: I had a a trust account for my mother XXXX XXXX XXXX testamentary trust. The account has been active and open with SunTrust. XX/XX/2021 a statement was sent to me showing the following, which is attached. The statement is showing on XX/XX/2021 a withdraw of XXXX was made, and the account was closed. I never closed this account nor did I make any withdraws. I contacted sun trust/truit bank to ask about this account XX/XX/XXXX and they have no records of an account being closed nor open. They only have a profile for me. There no proof there was an account. Although I have the statements to show there was an account. They told me to call a local branch, and have them look. I called and they informed they don't see anything either. I went to the bank in person XX/XX/XXXX for them to tell me the same thing. On XX/XX/XXXX i proceeded to get the police involved and they made a report and are doing further investigation. No one knows where this account is or what happened.

Consumer Complaint: I had my identity stolen twice in 2018 which I later filed FTC reports, there was a BB & T foreclosed home ( XX/XX/2018 ) on my credit report valued at {$190000.00}, with a XXXX balance, with a message, " Thank you for paying off your loan '' attached to the comments, then was later changed to a REDEEMED FORECLOSURE, also with a XXXX balance, nothing owed. I was told, I'd get a call from their Fraud Dept, but no one called and I keep getting swithed over from dept. to dept. Finally got a Fraud # but it just rang and rang. No one picked up. I've made SEVERAL FTC reports and many phone calls to BB & T/TRUIST... calls to BBT/TRUIST that has divulged they have NO RECORD of ANY FORECLOSURE in my name in their system, yet it remains on my credit report, yet somehow, the credit bureaus claims it was " verified '', which is utterly FABRICATED. This fraudulent account on my credit report is ruining my Finanacial relationship with potential new creditors and I would like it removed from my credit report, immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I requested to close my checking account at the beginning of the year prior to the merger with Truist but Suntrust neglected to close account. There were some APO payments that came through during that time causing negative balance off account. ash trust paid them instead of declining due to closed account. This caused account to go negative. XXXX XXXX sent a XXXX payment to my finance but had my name listed as contact person and was deposited to this closed account with XXXX XXXX. Suntrust took the money and then closed account and charged off. I went to the branch location who stated that they are unable to take money out of account nor return it back to sender due to account locked for charge off. Spoke with charge off department and they referred me to XXXX. Spoke with XXXX department and they stated account locked by charge off department and only ones who can assist. Spoke again with charge off department and they advised that theres was nothing they could do since payment completed through XXXX. I have been trying to get access to this money for last month and a half. The sender has tried to file a complaint with their bank and was told that they cant do anything since my account status is the issue. I need this resolved ASAP to prevent additional lawsuits pending. Thank yiu

Consumer Complaint: I paid my auto loan off early in XXXX of this year in full to close my auto loan and they continued to debt my bank account via autopayment the following month. The overpayment took over 25 days to receive from them via check. My XXXX Balance/Account closed or paid in full letter was sent signed and dated XX/XX/XXXX and my closed Paid IN FULL Promissory Note, Disclosure, and Security Agreement from them was dated XX/XX/XXXX. The issue is my loan was paid off early, then they debited my bank account to overpay, took 25 days for reimbursement, Paid in Full dates do not match and now they are tried debiting my bank account two months later after my account has been closed and paid off! Now they have deleted payment history on their website, reopened my account and even debited my bank account without my permission AFTER MY ACCOUNT WAS PAID OFF AND CLOSED TWO MONTHS PRIOR! I have requested a written explanation in accordance to 15 U.S. Code 1692g - Validation of debts and have not received anything in writing. They have also deleted my payment history from their website by deleting my last payments and even the reimbursement of when they kept debiting my bank account even after it was paid off ... creating an overpayment for over a month. Do not TRUST THIS COMPANY!
