I spoke with the Bank and was transferred to the faud department and was kept on hold for more than an hour. Please help me to dispute and close this account. Consumer Complaint: It is abundantly evident that Truist Financial Corporation ( Truist Bank ) does not honor the rights of consumers or the law pertaining to debt collection practices. Truist Financial Corporation XXXX Truist Bank ) have been abusive, deceptive, and unfair while attempting to collect on an alleged debt. The most evident is the invasion of my individual privacy. I did not authorize Truist Bank to use my social security number or any information to create an account. I, XXXX XXXX XXXX, the consumer notified in writing to Truist Bank to cease communications and requested to validate this alleged debt, which was delivered certified mail XX/XX/2022. Pursuant 1692g ; I, the consumer hold the right to dispute the debt and make certain requests. During this period the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof. Truist Bank violated my consumer rights during this period of validation of the alleged debt. Truist Bank communicated my information to another party ( XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX ) about this alleged debt. This party harassed, oppressed and verbally abused me by telephone communications. This party has sent repossession tow operators to my abode to collect a disputed portion of the alleged debt during this period. This drew attention to my neighbors ( persons ). Truist Bank failed to communicate to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that the disputed debt is disputed. Truist bank continued to send notice of late payments during this dispute. Truist Bank continued to report inaccurate information to the Credit Reporting Agencies, ruining my reputation and effecting my credit worthiness as a consumer. The Banking system is dependent upon fair & accurate credit reporting. My identification and financial information have been used and transferred without my authority by Truist Bank.

Consumer Complaint: I got a XXXX XXXX XXXX in the year of XXXX. After getting the vehicle it started having engine issues. The engine went out 6 times and attempted to have repairs. They declared it a XXXX however I was going back and forth with the dealer and the auto loan lender. They were saying each other was responsible for the buying the loan back and the issue was never fixed. My mother whom we purchased the car for passed away and there was no reason to keep paying the loan on a car that she has never been able XXXX XXXX and that kept having issues where the motor had to be replaced twice. I never received a new car nor was the car bought back as promised by XXXX XXXX. Anytime we got close to a resolution the account was transferred to a new manager. Eventually we gave the car back as it was submitted as a voluntary surrender. I was given a pay off by XXXX XXXX where I paid for 5 months at $ 300 monthly. I am now being told that that was not the balance that I agreed upon with previous months. Now the account was illegally sold to XXXX XXXX who have failed to provide my any documentation of proof of balance. My insurance company and XXXXl XXXX paid for a rental for a XXXX of 5 months during one repair because they could not repair it or find a motor at the time of XX/XX/XXXX where they admitted fault and asked me to go back to dealer and they would accept a buy back and would finance a new vehicle.

Tidal is XX/XX/XXXX and now this bank still has yet to release my funds and when I called they are now saying my funds will be released by XX/XX/XXXX midnight today so the XXXX of XXXX. I am staying in a hotel and this hold has practically caused me to be XXXX it has made my credit card payments late and my storage unit. It has cost me XXXX of dollars in late fees! This bank has no right to hold my funds another day! Now I am going to be kicked out of the hotel I am living in! This is outrageous and illegal!

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to access my Truist Bank checking account through the Internet siteon Friday night XX/XX/XXXX about XXXX pm. It did not recognize my password. I am a former SunTrust customer. Everything worked just fine until they converted to Truist. So I tried to contact support and there is no one to answer my questions, only an auto attendant. I tried the PW reset feature and it did not work. I tried again on Saturday ... .working through the process, getting the message that send me a reset code ... .which they did, however, as soon as I received it I input it and their system said it was an expired code. Tried again, same result. Finally got all the way through the process and the system said " we're texting you a temporary PW ''. No temporary PW was received. Tried again. Same result. I can not access my account, can not check transactions or balance or pay bills through the account.

No. XXXX ) I am representing XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) with respect to her loan with Truist Bank. My client was approached by a HVAC contractor who offered to make a loan to my client to complete some needed work and improvements at her home. My client is XXXX and XXXX, so this was of interest to her although details were not discussed. Of particular concern to her were the amount of any payments. The HVAC contractor completed the work and said everything with the financing was complete, which confused my client a bit. Apparently, the HVAC had some connection or arrangement to sell my client 's debt obligation to Truist Bank. There have been endless problems ever since. Truist Bank has failed to comply with my requests.
