Consumer Complaint: there was on unauthorized garnishment of my joint account violating my privacy rights under 15 USC 6801 ( a ) privacy obligation policy written by XXXX. My rights were further violated under the same code causing harm 15 USC ( b ) ( 3 ). I was not disclosed which is required under 15 USC 6803 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 3 ). Under 15 USC 6802 a financial institution may not, directly or through any affiliate disclose to a nonaffiliate third party any non public information, unless such financial institution provides or has provided to the consumer a notice. I was not the subject of any garnishment so my personal information must remain private under all circumstances. under the XXXX XXXX XXXX sec. 503 ( a ) ( 1,2,3 ) my non public information is to be protected under the law.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I opened an account with Truist bank in XXXX Tennessee. I told the banker what had happened at another bank ( XXXX XXXX Pryor to opening this account he pulled it all up said there shouldnt be a problem since no money was taken from the check I had taken in good faith for finding a house for a man I had been helping look for a home in my area since XX/XX/2022. I had no idea it wasnt going to clear but after XXXX ran it three times I finally told them to just stop running it they froze my account and closed the account and informed me I needed to find another bank to deal with. Now Truist has taken my payroll check for XXXX and {$100.00} cash and is holding it. I live pay check to pay check due to bills Ive not ever deposited a bad check nor did I think I was this time. He wanted to put XXXX as a down payment and he was loaning me XXXX to pay off bills plus XXXX for helping him find his house. He had sent money through XXXX for gas and such so I just assumed his check was good too. Now Truist has frozen my account is demanding proof that my pay roll check was for me and a letter from the place my company gets to do our checks and it has to be notarized XXXX sent a message with a phone number and all but I was sent an email saying my pay stub was denied and the letter wasnt acceptable. I just want my money. I have a commercial license which is considered a federal license. I didnt know the check at XXXX was bad if I had I would have not ever deposited it in my account. Now Truist is using what happened at XXXX against me. XXXX didnt lose any money I didnt ever pull any of it my thought was allow it to process and when it clears handle the business but it seems that me trying to get a head in life by working for an individual back fired and ruined my name and worth. I can see if I had pulled money off the check but I didnt even try and it was I who made the bank stop running it. So, Please someone help me if I was such a bad human why would I be spilling my guts out to total strangers plus I didnt celebrate XXXX due to this and what there holding is my truck note which Im going to have to let go back because its now over 30 days. I just want what Ive worked for is all and my life back and my slate cleaned up because the bank didnt ever lose one shiny penny on that bad check.

I have asked multiple times to get a breakdown of what the fees are and they just say interest and other fees. I need to know how much I am being charged daily for the extensions I have as well and they dont have an answer for that either. They are terrible. Worst company ever!

I filed a police report stating that my identity had been being used to secure accounts that I had no knowledge of with Truist being one of them however the company is still reporting a charge off and bad debt. Each credit bureau is reporting a different amount and different history. I have never bought a car with this company ever.

Please refund all monies incurred incorrectly as caused by a Merchant that did not deliver products and goods and still charged me incorrectly. I have processed a Claim with Truist please refer to : XXXX. This bank continually charges me overdraft fees even though I have contacted the merchant to cancel all fees and I am incorrectly charged over 7 times, of which I am correctly owed- If The Merchant had correctly refunded my fees I would not have incurred this. I am planing to pursue an action for Theft by larceny in the appropriate jurisdiction if this is not resolved by the Bureau of Consumer Protections. I have tried to walk in at a Truist Bank, I have called over XXXX times, and spoke with numerous persons, I have stayed on the line for more than XXXX hours and nothing has been able to be resolved. The merchant incorrectly charged me,- which caused me to incur overdraft fees, The Merchant has refunded XXXX transaction and Truist continually attempts to charge me over draft fees- Even When I had available funds for use. Truist has not refunded me any fees and I have closed all my accounts with trust. PLEASE ADVISE TRUIST THIS IS THEIR LAST AND FINAL WARNING TO PROVIDE ALL THE FUNDS THAT ARE RIGHTFULLY OWED TO ME OR YOU WILL BE FACED IN CIRCUIT COURT FOR CIVIL LITIGATION. I HAVE PROVIDED ALL INFORMATION TO TRUIST AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES AND NO ACTION IS TAKEN.

From my understanding if there was no written consent for your corporation to use my XXXX information. That is a VIOLATION of privacy. You also stated that I gave the dealership permission. So there for your corporation did not get permission and the car lot ran my credit there at the lot. Then I started receiving emails and notifications from numerous of banks including yours. This is called unauthorized use of my social security number. Then you said the automatic system declined asap. So in other words you're telling me that your corporation don't do your job. What happen to the underwritter and also finance managers when it comes to car deals? You stated that I needed to work on my credit. According to 15 Us code 1691 my credit does not and can not determine the decision made in the Consumer credit transaction. This is also A violation and credit discrimination. If you look at 12 CFR 202.9 ( 3 ) ( b ) ( 2 ) statement of specific reason basically the reason for the adverse action is discrimination due to the fact that a person with a XXXX XXXX of XXXX gets approved and a person with a XXXX doesnt. So the specific reason is in fact insufficient. Due to the fact that a XXXX XXXX or debt can not be used as specific reason. So what is the specific reason for the denial? This is also a violation of the XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I was working with Truist loss mitigation to submit documents to be notarized. I have co signers that are on the loan that need to sign in order for notarization to go through. One of which has passed away and I sent the death certificate over in XXXX XXXX XXXX In XX/XX/XXXX they sent the documents over to me to be notarized I asked before I took a flight to South Carolina if the co signer was off of the documents and they said they would take them off. So took flight to South Carolina and got documents notarized. I got a response in XXXX saying they did want the Death Certificate of one of the co signers. I sent that over to them. In the XXXX they sent new documents to me but I informed them I need time to get them signed because I cant travel due to work as I am a manager in a retail store and it is busy so I cant take time off work. They told me the last date to sign is XX/XX/XXXX. I told them I couldnt make that date and they said they would have to restart program. Now they have took me off of loss mitigation and I am facing foreclosure after they have given me false information after I have even traveled to make their demands met. This has been an extremely frustrating and difficult process. While I understand its not the banks fault that I have co signers that live in another state, when I have tried to communicate with them and work with them they have either given me false information or just lied to me.
