Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I called XXXX XXXX and asked to pay off my balance and close the card. I spoke with XXXX at XXXX XXXX. She took my bank account information and processed the payment, which would bring me to a XXXX balance. The amount paid was {$2400.00}. She confirmed that my balance was now {$0.00}. The confirmation number she provided was XXXX. On XX/XX/2019, my bank account showed that the payment had been processed. Months later, I get a phone call from XXXX XXXX ( or it's credit collection company - I can't remember ... I have been bedbound in XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX due to a previous and severe XXXX ). They claimed I owed them {$270.00}. I told them that was impossible, that I had paid off that account and closed it on XX/XX/2019. They argued with me and would not accept my claim. They sent me paper statements showing that I owed them. Come to find out, XXXX XXXX started charging me a Late Fee and Interest a few weeks AFTER I paid off my account in full. It appears that XXXX XXXX FAILED to close my account as I had requested. Regardless, they should not have charged me late fees on a XXXX balance. Those late fees and interest added up to {$270.00} when they - FINALLY - closed my account and sent me to collection. This action has ruined my credit. Because of my battle with XXXX XXXX and being on XXXX XXXX XXXX, my ability to focus and think clear were compromised. I finally was able to get some of my pain resolved through a medical procedure two weeks ago, so I reached out to Nationwide Credit , Inc and told them - AGAIN - that I had paid off the account back on XX/XX/2019. I gave them the lady 's name and my confirmation number. I also uploaded a screenshot of my bank account entry showing the final payoff payment being processed on XX/XX/2019. It has been two weeks, now, and they STILL have not closed out the issue and agreed that I do not owe them anything. On top of that - like I said previously - they ruined my credit. My credit score is at an all-time low and I can not get any credit if I even wanted to. ACTION NEEDED 1. They need to close the issue and tell me in writing that they have removed the late fees and interest, that I no longer owe them any money. 2. They need to report their mistake to all credit agencies, letting them know that the balance WAS paid of all the way back to XX/XX/2019. Honestly, they caused me so much emotional trauma - adding to my existing physical pain - because they robocalled me two times a day for about eight months!!! The stress I felt from having action taken against me where I had no power to fight for myself due to my severe condition was horrible. Shame on them. It wouldn't be a bad idea for them to issue a letter of apology AND pay me money for the pain and suffering of their own accord instead of me having to hire an attorney. I've never been treated so poorly and unmercilessly in my life by a credit company.

Consumer Complaint: My loans are held with University Accounting Service LLC and were serviced through the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I graduated XXXX in XX/XX/2020 and my payments were scheduled to go to the full principal out-of-school amount in XX/XX/2020, but I am in XXXX school now and confirmed with them I could continue making interest-only payments ( the in-school mode ) until I graduated XXXX school. I sent them my enrollment verification on XX/XX/XXXX and receipt was confirmed XX/XX/XXXX. When what was the grace period if I had still been out of school was up they started charging me the full principal amount. I have called four times and they won't fix it. I called in XXXX and asked them to fix it and they told me to wait 10-15 days and the change was effect. I called on XX/XX/XXXX asking them to fix it and they confirmed my status was " in school '' and to wait 10-15 days to fix it. I called on XX/XX/XXXX ( as the change has still not taken effect ) and they gave me the same answer, and she told me she would rush the change so it would take effect before my XXXX payments came out. I called on XXXX XXXX after a full principal payment had come out and he said wait 10-15 days and it would be fixed. It is XX/XX/XXXX and the full principal amount is scheduled to come out of my account in XXXX. My usual in-school interest only payment amount is an average of {$410.00} dollars. I was charged {$930.00} in XXXX, {$1200.00} in XXXX, and {$930.00} in XXXX. Last year I had an issue with them where they had not connected a new loan I took out for school to my account so I was charged interest and default charges and had a late payment on my credit report even though the loan was not on my account. They fixed it and the charge cleared off my credit report but I was still charged excess interest for the period I did not have the ability to pay the loan because it was not connected to my account. So this is the second major issue I'm having with them and don't know how else to resolve it.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, My name is XXXX XXXX and I currently have a student loan account with University Accounting Services ( UAS Connect ). Myaccount number is : XXXX The purpose of this email is regarding my forbearance application that wasre-submittedonXXXX, XXXX. My first execution was sent via email : XXXXonXXXX XXXX, XXXX. I sent a follow up email to the email account : XXXX as well as my UAS connect portal to confirm that the documents were received, but I did not receive any reply. OnXXXX XXXX, XXXX, I called UAS XXXX multiple times to onlybe placed on hold for 30minutes and an automated attendant came on the line and stated there was no one availableto take my call and hung up the phone. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I spoke to representativeXXXX who told me that there was no record of my documents and to resend the information to her email address. I resent my application to : XXXXShe stated to me that she received the application and will forward to the appropriate department. She then stated the process willtake 10 business days. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I spoke to a gentleman regarding my application and the concerns that I have and he assured me that the applicationwill be processed no later thanXXXX XXXX, XXXX. OnXXXX XXXX, XXXX, I spoke to a young lady regarding my account and she stated to me that no one has started to work on my documents. She then stated that she will escalate the paperwork and byTuesday - XXXX, XXXXI will receive information concerning my account. OnXXXX XXXX, XXXX, I called UAS and once again, I was on hold for 30 min. until the automated system came up and stated to me that no one was available to take my call and hung up. On XXXX, XXXX, I called to obtain the status of my application which has now been the allowed 10 business days of which I was told my application would be processed. The representative that I spoke to stated that there has not been any movement with my application and she will make my application priority. I then asked to speak to a supervisor of whichI was told that personwas in a meeting. I was given an email address of : XXXX to contact her, however, the email address did not go through. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to another representative who stated that UAS XXXX is completely backed up due to the new system that is used and she will escalate this issue to her supervisor and the supervisor will contact me. I also asked for her to verify the supervisors email address that was given and she told me that best email address to contact was : XXXX. That is a different email that I received. The email address did not go through and I did not receive a return phone call from any supervisor. On XX/XX/XXXX, I emailed UAS XXXX this very same email showing what occurredand pleading for assistance as this could greatly impact my credit report. The email was sent to : XXXX and as of the date of this email, I have not received any response. On XXXX, XXXX, I called and to my surprise I spoke to XXXX again who stated she will escalate thematter and everyone is backed up and I will have to wait. I again explained to her my concern regarding my credit report and I was told that the only thing she could do is escalate my application. XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to representative XXXXwho stated that she did not see my application being processed, but she will contact XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding my application and a supervisor will contact me regarding my application. She stated she put into her notes regarding my concern with the now late payments that was suppose to be differed as repayment started for me XX/XX/XXXX and continued every month on the XXXX of the month. Right now I am extremely concerned as my secondpayment has been due. I attempted to make a payment, but my payment was returned. I am now passed due forXXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payment and I do not have the means to make any payment. I constantly receive text messages and calls from my credit union regarding this past due account, and more importantly, I'm extremelyworried that I will now have a late payments on my account that will impact my credit report for 7 years. My fianc 's military unit has been XXXX, due to the pandemic, and I just graduated with my XXXX XXXX XXXX. My hours have been cut due to the pandemic and I have XXXX children to take care of, along with my elderly parents who live with us. I am graciously asking you, could you please help me with processingmy forbearancedocuments. I can not afford to make any payments right now due to the current economic state and I do not want to have a negative mark on my credit report. That will damage my family for the 7 years to come. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX an unknown company reported a collection on my account. I disputed this on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX with Transunion. After some research, I determined the account was related to an old account from XXXX. It was an old electricity bill that I never received when I moved. I was made aware of it in XXXX, paid it immediately as agreed, and obtained a release of debt from the original creditor / agency ( XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX ). At that time in XXXX I disputed the charges, provided my release of debt letter, and it was removed from my reports with all 3 bureaus. Providing the release of debt letter this time around, resulted in only 1 of 3 bureaus removing the information ( XXXX removed it but the others did not ). Not only is the debt more than 6 years old ( possibly past the statute of limitations ) and already settled and paid as agreed, abut the 2 agencies in question are reporting it as a new collection with a date of XX/XX/XXXX. Recently, I applied for a mortgage and noticed my scores with XXXX and XXXX are over XXXX points worse than my scores with XXXX. This error on their part is costing me significant money in addition to the time I've spent and frustration I've felt in dealing with this error. XXXX doesn't even have a way to dispute the item, when I log into their system it doesn't show up as an item that can be disputed. I had to dispute it thru XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: TRANSWORLD SYS INC/51 has a medical account for XXXX XXXX in Delaware. I was unaware of this past account until it showed on my bureau. I called to inquire about it on XX/XX/21. I spoke to a representative on that day and also paid the total amount owed ( {$180.00} ). As of XX/XX/21 the account was paid in full and I received a confirmation number # XXXX. The account was reported as past due again on XX/XX/21. I called the company again on XX/XX/21 and spoke to XXXX XXXX who indicated that the account was still open and did not see my payment. She indicated that she saw that I called in but the person that took my payment did not note my account. I checked my account and the money was taken out of my account on XX/XX/21. She indicated that her manager told her to put my account in dispute because they have to look for my payment. This is unfair treatment and this account should not have been reported to my bureau as past due since it was paid. It also should not have been reported if I was not even aware of this past due balance in the first place. I never received any form of communication from this company. The rep told me that I would need to call back in a few days because it is not known when this issue will be fixed. Again, unfair treatment and inaccurate credit bureau reporting. In the mean time, I am negatively impacted. Please look into this.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Trans World Systems repeatedly calls trying to collect a XXXX XXXX bill for {$740.00} from XXXX. It is now XXXX. A XXXX XXXX XXXX debt that is not even my dept. I have never had XXXX XXXX. I have called and tried to speak to management but I am just getting over seas people hard to understand and refuse to do anything unless I give them my SS # and DOB. Which I will NOT! They can tell me what the dept they are calling for. I ask them if they are aware that is a XXXX XXXX XXXX dept and in Texas that is way past statute of limitations. But again they just tell me the calls will not stop and they will not do anything unless I give them my personal information.

Consumer Complaint: I've sent multiple letters to this agency about this not being my account. After being advised by XXXX.XXXX, I've completed and sent a fraud affidavit via certified mail. I can see they received it, but nothing has changed. See supporting documents. Even the USPS tracking. My official complaint is against TRANSWORLD SYS. My information was used to obtain an apartment, cell phone, and an auto loan with my ex-partner. I am a victim of identity theft and have put this off for too long. I've completed the proper steps, 1. notify creditors 2. police report 3. informed the state of Texas. The individual I've suspected for this theft is now deceased, and the police department said to contact the federal trade commission to seek relief. These companies disregard laws and dont care whos credit or lives they impact.
