Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: Companies failed to send any notice about the debt, and I only became aware of it through persistent calls from unknown numbers, which seemed suspicious. It wasn't until the debt appeared on my credit report that I realized its source. Despite settling with the companies and having a recorded promise for a pay-to-delete, they failed to provide the agreed-upon documentation, and the reported address was incorrect, raising doubts about the validity of the debt.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I am attaching a copy of the previous complaint # XXXX, I responded to the creditor stating that they agreed to a repayment/recalculation of debt via XXXX XXXX XXXX ( a Consumer Credit Counseling Service XXXX XXXX XXXX states that I needed to make a minimum payment of over {$1000.00} when I signed up for XXXX to keep the account from going to write off status. I was never told by XXXX or XXXXXXXX XXXX that even though we established an agreement with XXXX to pay off the debt at a lower rate and a fixed lower monthly payment ; I was NEVER informed of {$1000.00} minimum to start. To be quiet honest, If I knew XXXX was going to ruin my credit and report this as a write off even though a contact agreement was established, I would have never paid them another dime. What is the point of a repayment plan if they make up the rules on their end and not tell the consumer? I am requesting again, a copy of the agreement established between XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX I am also disputing this again with the credit bureaus because XXXX likes to play games and wait to the very last minute to respond, and all they do is reply with " verified ''. This is my last attempt to obtain the copy of the contract before I proceed with legal matters.
