Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with this issue for years, I think I am a victim of ID Theft. I have limited credit and someone is continuing to send my information into Bankruptcy court. Again I have no reason to file BK because I do not have any debt on my credit report. I have contacted XXXX XXXX and they informed me that no record of XXXX XXXX XXXX on my report. I was informed to inquiry with XXXX and XXXX. Also I checked with Trans Union and they informed that public record information comes from XXXX. I then contacted XXXX and was told that Trans Union does the reporting of public records ie BK 's not XXXX At this point no one is able to verify these are accurate and is unwilling to provide me with help. These are the Bankruptcy Cases I want to be removed, it is not a reflection of my character. I want XXXX, Trans Union and XXXX to remove these cases from my credit profile. Consumer Complaint: I sent personal information letters to the bureaus urging them to remove any personal information that is incorrect or inaccurate while providing the necessary documents. XXXX and Trans Union continues to report inaccurate names and an incorrect address on my report. Pursuant to the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ), I am a federally protected consumer and I have a right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 clearly states : It is policy of congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy, security and confidentiality of its customers non public personal information. ( a ) In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 1 ) In response to the order of a court having jurisdiction to issue such an order, a subpoena issued in connection with proceedings before a Federal grand jury, or a subpoena issued in accordance with section 5318 of title 31 or section 3486 of title 18. ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates.
