In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) Section 609, we formally request a reinvestigation of the inaccuracies and request that you review the supporting documentation more thoroughly. I understand that, according to the FCRA, you have 30 days from the receipt of this letter to complete your investigation and provide the requested information. Failure to do so may result in the removal of the disputed item from my credit report. It is disconcerting to note that despite recent settlements, as reported by the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), for failing to ensure the accuracy of information, our concerns about inaccuracies on XXXX XXXX credit report remain unaddressed. Given the recent case settlement and the ongoing obligation to uphold the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), we urge you to reconsider your decision and conduct a thorough review of the discrepancies weve highlighted. We believe the inaccuracies on XXXX XXXX credit report are in violation of the FCRA, and we expect prompt corrective actions. Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: The TransUnion along with XXXX have been denying me about all these inquiries on my account. I have given police reports and identity theft reports stating that these inquiries were not mine. Im tired of it. They all need to be removed at once!!! According to 15 USC 1681b I DID NOT GIVE ANY PERMISSION FOR MY CREDIT TO BE RAN ALONG WITH IT BEING PUBLISHED ON MY CONSUMER REPORT! This is illegal to obtain my credit without my permission and you can be sued for it. So TransUnion and XXXX need to remove these inquiries. Its a ridiculous amount of inquiries which is crazy and some are one day after the other. Like seriously youre not going to get an approval if you didnt get one the day before. Im tired of fighting especially when I have said it isnt mine its fraud given police reports and so forth. Remove at once.
