Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: During XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX is reporting that I am anywhere from thirty days to one hundred eighty days past due, while I was in Forbearance with XXXX dollars owed. They reported this on XXXX accounts. I have sent certified letters requesting statements showing I owed money, they never sent me anything. I asked for an account detail and only get from XXXX to current. XXXX acknowledges that the reporting is incorrect every time I call ; however, every dispute I file with the credit reporting agency, XXXX says the reporting is correct. I have now recorded my full conversation with XXXX for proof. I can't get approved for a home loan or anything. I've been fighting this for years. According to the XXXX reporting I would have defaulted on my loans, thus not being able to receiving further funding. The DOE shows I have never been late on one single payment since I took out my first loan in XXXX. I'm asking for assistance as this is costing me loads of money in interest and the ability to own a home. This is unjust after fighting XXXX years.
