Consumer Complaint: Identity Theft and Credit Reporting Discrepancies Complaint I am writing to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regarding ongoing issues related to identity theft and inaccuracies on my credit reports. Last year, I discovered unauthorized inquiries and accounts on my credit reports, leading me to file a report with the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) on XX/XX/XXXX. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation, there has been no correction to the derogatory marks on my credit file that do not belong to me. I have contacted each credit bureau consistently from XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX to address and resolve these issues, but unfortunately, no progress has been made. In a recent call with TransUnion on XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed that they have not received any of my disputes, even though I provided evidence to support my claims. This evidence includes proof of my FTC complaint from XX/XX/XXXX, as well as previous CFPB complaints filed last year. This ongoing situation has hindered my ability to obtain credit, and the lack of response and resolution from the credit bureaus is deeply concerning. I request the CFPB 's intervention to investigate this matter and ensure that the necessary corrections are made promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
