Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: Hello there! Within the last three months of XXXX TransUnion started to report a closed in debt account called security credit services on my credit report. This is problematic because I do not own a debt with security credit services & I do not owe any debt to the apparent original creditor. I called the original creditor and demanded their fraud department help me out with this one. They didnt bother helping after saying they would reach back out. Then I tried contacting security credit services to no avail. Finally today on XX/XX/XXXX, I see that that not only is Transunion still reporting this fraudulent account as mine but they also changed the status from CLOSED To REOPEN this is extremely inaccurate. I demand Transunion remove this account off my credit report immediately. To confirm, I NEVER opened an account with the original creditor or security credit services. I gave no authorization for no account to be opened under my identity. I also gave no authorization for this debt to be listed as mine without the credit bureau properly validating it.

Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Account Status should reflect PAID and Payment Status CURRENTDate Opened XXXX Last Payment XXXX. This account needs to be removed. XXXX XXXX XXXX shows a Balance of {XXXX? Should have a XXXX XXXX was Closed/Charged off XXXX But is still showing up Falsely? ( SHOULD NOT SHOW LATE OR A BALANCE THIS IS A VIOLATION OF THE FCRA 15U.S.C.1681i ) It is my understanding that all Items should be correct on my report. Consumer Complaint: The Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC 1681 section 602 a states " There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' As a federally protected consumer I have the right to make sure my nonpublic private information is protected. The previous statement is also backed by 15 USC 6801 which states '' It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' XXXX XXXX is a financial institution by definition under that title. 15 USC 1681 section 604 a section 2 states that " In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' XXXX, XXXX and TransUnion are consumer reporting agencies. Per the Privacy Act of 1974 it states No agency shall disclose any record which is contained in a system of records by any means of communication to any person, or to another agency, except pursuant to a written request by, or with the prior written consent of, the individual to whom the record pertains. I have requested documentation with my WET INK signature in which I gave consent. If said documentation is NOT furnished such items must be removed IMMEDIATELY. Per FRCA as a federally protected consumer I am opting out of any and all authorization, I the consumer may have given you written, unwritten, verbal and nonverbal per 15 USC 6802. This is effective immediately and indefinitely. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) also states that " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' XXXX XXXX is the financial institution referenced in this report. I was never clearly and conspicuously informed of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. 15 USC 1681a subsection 2, exclusions except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include, report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; Said code states reporting transaction history is illegal, information must be corrected. 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports ; Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other ( sub section 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. To reiterate I never gave consent to third party companies, affiliates, non-affiliates or creditors to have anything added to my consumer report to any of the credit reporting agencies, a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
