Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: For the month of XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX reported a delinquency for my mortgage account for that month. Their own internal statement of my account, provided at a XXXX XXXX branch, even shows an incorrect actual payment of just {$2000.00}. for a scheduled payment of {$2100.00}. I have proof that I paid more than the scheduled payment for that month, albeit in XXXX different payments, the first on XX/XX/XXXX for {$2000.00}, the second for {$92.00}, and the third for {$100.00}, totaling {$2200.00}. At all times, bank personnel assured me that these payments would be applied to my mortgage payment due for the month of XXXX. Instead, I ended up with a delinquency on my credit report, that has not only hurt my credit, but also prevented me from securing a different mortgage loan to buy a new home for myself. XXXX has refused to remove their negative reports and still claims the information is correct. I would like for XXXX to correct my actual total payment made for XXXX, and remove the negative report from my credit reports with all three bureaus since I paid more than the scheduled payment for that month.
